And that my friends is what is wrong with society. We have a man sharing his emotions, a man sharing his weakness, and the response he gets from another man is to just "man up", i.e. not show those emotions, push them down, bury them, maybe even drown them in alcohol. Anything but acknowledging that there is a problem with the system, ay?

I've found a lot of women will try to explain or defend this by saying it's internalized misogyny and patriarchy - again the men's fault. It literally is though. Men set the standards and the women who have internalised the misogyny of the system to a sufficient degree enforce the standards set by men. Like this is just objectively true.

frankly that's not how that works. The carbon footprint of the civilian sector is miniscule compared to industry and electrical infrastructure. If anything we need to start there.

Finding an outside purose is just deflecting from the original issue. That's not healthy. The only real way to heal and get better mentaly is to find a purpose not defined by the outside world or the things one does there, but rather from the inside, from a will to live for the sake of living. And that is exactly what therapy teaches you, that is exactly what therapy helps you achieve. It helps you understand the things that are bothering you and find a purpose within yourself. I would know, bec…

To add to the original post, we have archeological evidence towards gender equality in stone age tribes / societies. The "strength difference" is most likely a development since the earlier stages of settled farming coinciding with the first advents of protopatriarchal systems. It is quite literally baseless to bring up the "biological" origin of the patriarchal system, because it was the patriarchal system that brought about the "biological" argument. Furthermore any other claims towards the "b…

Or one could do their best to address the society at large and try to change it towards being more accepting and healthy for everyone, so that it is unnecessary conform and censor oneself? Just food for thought, I know the red pill movement is often quite avers to changing things to be more respectful of especially women, so maybe you'll surprise me.

To directly address some of the issues you have brought up here: "Depression, suicide, social isolation, lack of emotional support, education, alcoholism, etc. etc." These mental health issues, especially among the younger male population, often stem from the perceived lack of self-worth. This has many potential root causes, a few of them being, that men are often not taught how to deal with emotion, and even discouraged from showing any of the negative emotions. Such things can lead to "spirall…

let's analyse this a little shall we? Who is setting these societal standards? Contrary to popular belief in the "manosphere" it is most often men who claim to know what women want and then feed that "information" into the broader public. This has been a trend for centuries. A perfect example in the current day and age is the "broad muscular etc." stereotype popularized by the film industry of the last century. This stereotype became especialy widespread during / after WW2 due to military involv…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
