The point of a PhD isn't to get rich.

Being Tyler Durden would definitely fix my introverted problem.

Thanks. How long did it take you to find worthwhile people? I have been trying out dating sites, but the people on there are.. strange.

I'm an actuary o_O most people don't know what that is.. I crunch numbers for an insurance company. Career for the mathematically inclined.

Yeah, so far I have actually just been checking out coffee shops on the weekends. Literally that's all I've been doing lol. Casual conversation happens occasionally, but that's all it ends up being. How do you turn a casual conversation into a "lets be friends and hang out on occasion?"

Right, but then 3pm roles around and you realize you've been up for 10 hours already. Then I have to drink another cup of coffee.

Haha, actually I already get up at 5am to hit the gym! Mon-Fri at least. Then work 8am-6pm. But I agree, morning workouts are amazing.

Try Rainey street. A slightly older crowd than 6th, and far less "dirty."

I'm 21 and what is this? Is this true? Is this why I can't have any substantial conversations with women my age without dumbing down everything?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
