A good amount of it is probably people subbed for the crazy-watching. Like people who sub to sovcit YT channels because watching loons get tased on a live stream is fucking hilarious.
I thought we were talking about naming a virus. But you seem to be talking about the evils of Xi Jinping and the CCP. Of course I agree that the Chinese government is corrupt, authoritarian, murderous, and certainly lying about their infection and mortality numbers. But that's a separate issue.
COVID-2019 is the official name of the disease (World Health Organization). Scientifically speaking, it's more correct to name it according to its taxonomy and time of first known appearance. Labeling it with a location or ethnicity is unnecessarily prejudicial. It doesn't meet the criteria for a pandemic yet.
That incident in Peru was so serious that the US government actually paid a large amount of money to Peru in compensation. Peru uses the money to help maintain and patrol these sites.
Um, they probably are going to and from work. Scrubs are as much a uniform as they are a safety protocol. Not all medical jobs involve sterile contact with patients.
