As I painstakingly explained in my post, asking directly about "sexism against men" primes them for a negative response due to the association of that phrase with the right wing and redpillers. I'm curious what you think OP should have sent. What would have been the best way to ask Mastodon about their policy there? This: So I think the solution here is to be specific. Instead of saying, "what about sexism against men?" say "what about the fact that suicide rates are so much higher in men?" Mastodon could have certainly had more tact, but I feel like "sexism against men" is basically the worst possible way to describe men's issues. It immediately conjures up exactly the wrong images and impressions. What we face is not classical sexism the way it's faced by women. We aren't getting catcalled on the street here. -6	The internet never forgets. You know what? I've heard that for a while. I even believed it for a while. I don't think it's true anymore. I think it's something that sad, lonely guys pass back and forth in echo chambers to dehumanize a large swath of people who they feel have wronged them.
