Coach in my high school called the kids at the back “ladies” and my ex-gf said she had bigger balls than me because I didn’t want to bungi jump. Lack of athletic skill, any emotion other than anger, poor performance, all get equated to being a woman or not being “man enough”.

I didn’t want to dwell too much on the politics of it, but I guess I should clarify that it was conservatives/republicans that made the comments I mentioned in my post.

Try the US Census Bureau for quick stats. Some studies have shown that 90% of divorcing fathers don’t ask for custody. Others have shown that 60% of those that do, get the custody they ask for. The majority of divorce cases are resolved in mediation so it’s not even a judge deciding custody.

Is this really what we want to advocate for in a men’s rights group? More divorces are ending in 50/50 custody and more women are paying child support and alimony. We’re making steps in the right direction and posts like this are fodder for feminists. Is the system perfect? No, but we don’t leave millions of kids to suffer because some stupid adults abuse the system. You don’t want to owe child support, then don’t have kids or don’t get divorced or don’t let them take anything more than 50% cust…
