I haven't checked the sub out, but I'm sure you're right. Since OP had a question, it seemed like a better subreddit to ask at first.

I used to agree with that. But look at this: http://www.reddit.com/r/seduction/comments/1irp11/female_perspective_three_examples_of_approaches_i/ I know you’re not supposed to ask the fish but I’m hoping that at least some of this stuff might be useful for some.. Consider the amount of upvotes and positive feedback it has.

I wasn't thinking of any specific race. But it's mostly looks for me, culture is a barrier too. If we're gonna get specific (about looks), I am Swedish and I have a big problem with women from the middle east. But I think Asians are alright. I have a close friend (also Swedish) who is exactly the opposite. Then of course there is probably some middle eastern woman out there with a personality that suits me. But because culture has an impact on personality I am far more likely to find another Swe…

I don't see why this is so controversial. I too have preferences about races when it comes to dating and some are an instant no-no.

You're right, as long as you're not an overweight neckbeard then I suppose this will work just fine. Not with everyone of course. "Attractive" is not just about how you look, but that's what comes across first. Your personality and your actions can be attractive. Which is what made this work. I would guess you were very energetic.

Step 1: be attractive. Step 2: don't be unattractive

I'm neither of those and I started online dating some month ago and I enjoy it. The name "online dating" is a bit misleading because the online part is only for initially getting contact. The real dates still take place as usual.

This happened too me a week ago. I had strong eye contact several times with a girl and later when she wasn't locked in I approached and it went better than ever.

I've realized that I can't tell from how a girl looks if I'm actually attracted to her. Personality is the major factor. When I approach girls I want to know them better, just as friends. It takes time to get to know them enough to realize if you're actually attracted. Looks is just a bonus.

I suppose just going outside for a walk can yield results. Better than sitting at the computer. And what's wrong with schools? Assuming you are the same age or even go to that school.

Can you elaborate on "go out and just put yourself out there"? I'm sure that is a step a lot of people are troubling with. It can be hard to come up with things to do if you're home alone. Not everyone likes to go to the bar and the types of people you meet there may not suit you.

Here in Sweden you can search for names or numbers and get information about them, mostly just where they live. It doesn't work for every number but if OP can try it then he should.

A friend of mine says that one beer helps while two or more makes it worse. I can agree with that from personal experience. Zero is also good as the video which I didn't watch says.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
