Oh jeez I'm so sorry. I rarely check my inbox because I don't interact much. There's an absolute treasure trove if you put Patrice O'neal relationships into youtube. His standup comedy also is worth a listen! It's mainly a lot of relationship stuff that he talked about on radio shows in depth but also made into hilarious standup bits ("men wanna be left alone, but we don't wanna be by ourselves" is one of the best bits of advice that's also a great standup bit of his). My relationship improved a…

Maybe we can do like a Causal Friday thing? Not full blown patients running the asylum anarchy shitposting, but just one day a week with flair so it doesn't get confusing why some posts are perfectly structured but others are very casual. Monthly would be too restrictive because if I missed my window 3 days ago for a problem today, the next opportunity is so far away that it's unlikely to even make it here by then

Not a wife because there's no reason for it. Don't care about weddings or rings. No kids, no desire for them. Been cohabitating for 10 years now. Very happy. The best years came after discovering Patrice O'neal and taking his advice to heart. Don't remember how I found this sub, but I just like lurking when threads pop up on my feed. The way it's all structured (threads/post guidelines/rules) seems strict, so I haven't tried to participate. Feels like it would get deleted anyway, so why bother. …

Thank you. I just sent their parenting playlist to my sister (she's a sahm, 1 y/o toddler, very invested in raising their son to be a good man). Been successfully red-pilling her too :p

Would you mind elaborating? I know what you mean, but I'm curious about your personal experience in specific and what breakthrough happened mentally that inspired you to give the group a shout-out And of course, glad to hear the good news :)

Sorry to keep bugging you but do you have any advice for how to deal with the natural strain a baby puts on a romantic relationship, particularly the first one, and how you guys over came it? I'll pass it along to my sister who I'm slowly warming up to the redpillwives world with her 6 month old and boyfriend. Very slowly. Are there any particular people you follow on these topics, like the Dante Nero (Beige Phillip) type?

To be fair it depends on how crazy the person is about it. My stepdad went to church every Sunday with his side of the family before the COVID lockdown but it never bothered him or his wonderful family that we weren't into it at all. Usually not the case though. Which sucks. Having the traditional perspective in common as something to work towards is so much more important than identical versions of worshipping sky daddy. Conservatives unfortunately lose a lot of people by going too hard with th…

Thank you for your comment! You just totally got me on a mental roll. Oh stuff like that actually made me really appreciate where religion came from. Never pushed me in terms of faith (or lack thereof), but I certainly became less judgemental about thinking that "oh it's just that people were fucking stupid". Listening to evolutionary biologists/psychologists talk about it is so fascinating. Apparently there were a lot of beneficial rules that ensured group survival on so many levels, including …

You just reminded me because you mentioned having read a book before that you might give a 2nd look at now. My boyfriend's mom is very religious (not a dick about it, sweet lady) and she gave me the Men Waffles Women Spaghetti book like 7 or 8 years ago. I opened it up on my commute home and got really annoyed at the bible references. I was a little more "religion is for idiots" back in my very early 20s. I closed it and left it on the train. In retrospect I feel like an ass because I revisited …

Lifelong atheist too. Pretty indifferent since I never grew up with religion. My family escaped the Soviet Union where religion wasn't allowed, but we didn't escape to be able to be religious. We just have a Jewish last name so it meant everyone hated us. Wasn't ever a thing in our house. Wasn't even mentioned. Boyfriend is vehemently anti-religion because he grew up being forced to copy the bible by hand, pencil and paper, as punishments. One thing that I'm grateful for is I have the benefit to…

It's all good. You've contributed a lot of quality posts. For the most part it's hard to debate a lot of the valid points made in this sub, even the memes, without doing serious mental gymnastics. Anything less just gives ammo to dismiss the rest of it, even if a guy is on the fence.

That's not the same person. Less makeup/filters version of her. Obviously she colors her eyebrows in and goes too far outside of the lines, etc., but I'm not a fan of making valid points using fake evidence

Huh. I thought that just meant a trigger warning followed by an eventual shutdown days/weeks later. Googled "mgtow rules" and only got individualized lists that are a bit vague. The rule you brought up is more concrete and logical. Reminded me of Dante Nero (Man School 202) and Patrice O'neal (Black Phillip).

I can't find a list of rules in the sidebar. Where can I get this info? Not sarcasm. It's just a very interesting observation and I want to learn more. Thanks!

Many migrants from 3rd world shit holes have been and are adapting just fine, since way before this current refugee crisis. I understand your frustration and doubt, but saying it's horseshit doesn't somehow magically cancel out the fact that people from 3rd world shit holes have been adapting to new cultures and environments for a long time and this current situation is nothing new. My mother came from a rural farm in Kazakhstan knowing no English and basically with very little education aside f…

Of course life is hard for all Afghans, but this is just one particular issue. No one is saying life isn't hard for the men. At all. Life is very hard there for everyone involved.

Assimilation is very possible, my family assimilated to American culture from Ukraine. My boyfriend's family is from Korea and they assimilated. It's not about a stern talking to, it's a carefully thought out program and it's actually going very well, just read the article for yourself. This is a positive thing. It's not bullshit. They are making good progress and the refugees in the program are truly happy to be a part of the process.

It's no more or less insane than teaching sex ed to teens. They just don't know, and education is empowerment.

Not so simple. Please read my post below for clarification. These programs are productive and they're very beneficial to the men as well. Teaching migrants about their new cultural environment is a fantastic idea and it has been working out great so far. I've spoken to people directly involved at a campus event a while back and the people who teach these programs are generally assimilated migrant men themselves who want to help their fellow people adjust. :)

Life in the middle east is hard for both men and women. :( Men have it worse in say a rural village in Afghanistan, and so do women. So you can't really say women don't have it worse, and then to add to that so do men of course. Life there is generally just hellish, period

If you go to the middle east, especially less developed areas, you'll beg to differ. My army friends have this dark inside joke that the worst things to be in Afghanistan are a dog, a donkey, and a woman. They're forbidden from interfering with cultural practices and that includes intervening for example if a woman is being beaten the shit out of in the streets. I know this sounds ridiculous but you will get fired. I'm no feminist but it's actually terrifying being a female in many of these part…

I love this sub but this one post I can't get mad about. My bf was deployed to these countries and in all seriousness there is a serious difference between what's ok and not ok in a social norm sense when it comes to male female relationships. It is actually common sense to teach these people who come from an extremely patriarchal society, I mean lots of them from poor parts where women are fair game in terms of just go rape whoever you can justify raping and the cops don't care. They said it th…

So, the fact that she happens to be attractive means her points are less valid? She's actually making great points. Would it make you less pissy if she wears a burka next time?

It's not so much being insulted that an unattractive person finds you attractive. There's nothing insulting about being wanted. It's when an unattractive person approaches you believing they have a shot, that you question your own attractiveness. And that part I think creates that appalling reaction from some women. I've never treated a guy like shit over it. I've always been very polite. But in the back of my mind I then can't help but wonder "so if this person who I find extremely unattractive…
