2	Movement? I'm not bending around anything, I just don't think a movement has to be political or on purpose or pushing an agenda. Just a group of people introducing a different way of looking at things or doing things. I also don't think that it's an uncommon idea of what a movement is. I'm gonna be real with you and I don't mean this as a jab at mgtow, just an observation as an outsider looking in: this community is the only place I've heard of a movement being defined quite like it is here. It feels a lot like mgtow is attempting to redefine what a movement is for the sake of avoiding some sort of irony related to a movement being a societal thing, whereas mgtow is all about breaking from society. Take away the commandments and call them guidelines then allow for followers to have interpretation of their own and if call it a traditional movement. 1	Movement? I would think the connection between them would be simply "going their own way" wouldn't it? So by your (or maybe mgtow in general) definition, a movement should have a shared end goal and not just a common means of reaching that goal? I don't mean you specifically are butthurt about it, it's just that I've seen several people adamant that it's not a movement and I'm just trying to understand that, because to me if a lifestyle/philosophy is shared by a number of people, I'd consider it a movement until it stagnates or dies off. 2	Movement? I don't see "bachelor" as a movement, but that's just because the idea of being a bachelor isn't growing or changing. It's simply always existed and there isn't necessarily a philosophy associated with it. I would consider that a grass roots movement, bring that there is not necessarily a leader, but the philosophy is growing and spreading organically. Seems like a fine line at best.
