Well everyone on nice guys is basically an incel and that was you’re example so....

You’re literally only talking about incels, which isn’t a very large or representative group of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/20 01:53 PM

Being around Physically intimidating men always puts other men at risk of displaying non dominant behavior, that doesn’t necessarily mean that much though.

This only works on fools. You’re effectively putting on a ruse about your own romantic value by showing that you don’t care about them and leading them to assume incorrectly that the impetus for you’re not caring is linked to you’re having other romantic options. It’s essentially the same thing as another woman being interested in you.

I mean I feel like you’re average joe doesn’t really super qualify as normie level though. I’m not trying to be difficult, but I feel like normie doesn’t equal average necessarily.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/20 11:12 PM

I mean maybe not, but honestly it’s rare for me to actually meet a total normie.

Man there’s something wrong with me, I’d never be able to keep up with the drama of two women. Too much bloody effort.

The reality is if we want there to be a counter narrative to both extreme feminism and redpill commentary on social dynamics we are going to have to create content that these kids will watch or listen to. There is absolutely a place for more centrist views on this debate, and I think there’s a large void currently online and in the media that’s just waiting to be filled.

The wall is just a way for incels to mock women. Like yes the wall exists, but the reason to call attention to it is primarily to insult women.

I think your understanding of alpha males lacks nuance.

I’ve never wanted to sleep with that many women, but was able to get into a relationship easy enough when I wanted it. I’m not good looking and I’ve been pretty fat my whole life so🤷🏻‍♂️.

I think it’s more accurate to say that nlp doesn’t do exactly what it claims, but it does do something.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/20 08:35 PM

And yet it’s used in every single dating program and it’s fruit is featured prominently in every redpill dating strategy I’ve seen. So I mean you’re right, but🤷🏻‍♂️

I was heavy into the nlp scene like 15 years ago. There were two things I learned quickly. It works exceptionally well on women, it’s super icky when it works.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/20 08:04 AM

Now it’s all about using the dumbest parts of nlp to “ trick women into having sex”, which was never that hard or the point in the first place.

This is the dark side of self help and mindfulness. I’d say I’m surprised by it, but it’s been going this way for over 20 years at least. Primarily the issue is with these techniques is that people are looking for a way to weaponize mindfulness and self therapy concepts. Techniques that were originally adapted to aid and help people who suffered from anxiety and depression via neuro linguistic programming long ago have now been twisted into dangerous and damaging methods that seek to change a me…

I’d prefer average or less of both and a good personality. I know that’s not an option but, that’s what I’d rather have. I guess I’d say beautiful face and average body though.

Yeah cool story, but that doesn’t mean I gotta take your word seriously.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/20 04:26 AM

First off you can’t just make up a word and expect other to use it. Secondly you can be critical of women and men without that going back to your parents. I’m not what most people would call a redpilled person, but there are some valid points made.

Well that’s part of the issue. We are more likely to become crippled instead of dead now. I’d gladly die for the chance of glory... not so keen on losing my legs or arms.

The total package is what makes each person unique and worth knowing. For that reason it all matters to me. Now I’ll admit that I’ll check out a woman’s ass from time to time and won’t care about the whole package, but anytime I’d put forth the effort to flirt or ask a woman out, the full package would be important.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/20 07:24 AM

Most men notice all kinds of things about women. Also things like “ personality” are not readily readable by observing someone for a short amount of time. I think women romanticize their own tales of romantic pursuit, especially when they say they notice a man’s personality first. We all notice the full package of looks and how a person moves. If their skin is good, if they smile and seem friendly. That’s true across all groups.

That’s because men’s bodies aren’t valued.

I’d say to some degree, most men do.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/19 06:47 AM

The real bottom line for this entire discussion is that people don’t forget people’s pronouns, and if they do it’s not really the issue. I’m sure there are some screechers who would lose their minds if you accidentally misgendered them once on accident, but that’s rare. The real deal is that people for whatever reasons or reasons don’t want to bestow the honor of recognizing people’s associated gender. It might be terfs who weaponize gender to fight men. It might be men who don’t want to welcome…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/19 10:29 PM
1

So maybe I was always redpilled, I’m not exactly sure, but I always knew that people in general were going to betray others and mistreat others. My approach to women has always been more of a “ whatever you’ve done with other people doesn’t matter, just don’t cheat on me “ type of deal. Quite honestly that approach hasn’t steered me wrong, at least not in the women cheated on me way.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/19 06:54 AM
1

I’m pretty late to this I suppose but I’ll add in my two cents. As a guy I’d like any girl I’m with to have a n count that’s under 30. However it’s not a dealbreaker for me. What counts is her willingness to get into an exclusive relationship with me now and not cheat.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/19 06:52 AM

I think it’s easy to see causation when mostly some men are just being cuckolded and can’t do anything about it.

Well for instance right, fantasy football, magic the gathering, chess, poker. Their only outside use is building critical thinking skills. On their own they have no intrinsic value. Women Simply don’t like these types of things nearly as much as men. That’s why I’m singling them out. Not because They are superior, but because they are different from other types of hobbies.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/19 11:04 PM
1

If you look I’m not gatekeeping the term hobby. I’m discussing a type of hobby that men specifically are into.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/19 09:38 PM

Oh ho ho ho! Boy you sure got me wow.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/19 09:32 PM

It’s just a fundamental difference in male and female behaviors.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/19 02:42 PM

I’ll admit that crafting is both a hobby and useless and fulfills my criteria for a hobby.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/19 01:01 PM
1

I was mostly replying to the specific comment, which your. reply doesn’t address either. Obviously women have all kinds of interests. My position is that men just naturally get more invested into hobbies that are only useful as hobbies. Most of the hobbies you listed have large real world value.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/19 12:54 PM

I see your point, but it’s honestly difficult for me to find the parallels between someone who learns about skincare and a man who learns the in depth meta game for something like Texas hold ‘em. Like sure it’s knowledge either way, but I just don’t see it as the same. I feel like being good at skincare is so practical and applicable to normal life that it’s more of a life skill than a hobby.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/19 11:11 AM
6

I feel like mostly men are just more hobby and interest oriented. Men on average are going to have more in-depth hobbies and interests. Men seem to have very specific interests and get into the minutiae of those interests quickly and easily. Women seem to generally have an appreciation for a wider variety of outlets. This can lead to this misconception.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/19 09:10 AM

I don’t feel like you’re arguing against your own point?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/19 02:05 PM

Most people who are just normally healthy have no idea how they are healthy. This of course excludes athletes, because their enhanced physicality comes from study and effort.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/19 06:58 AM
1

So for instance you would assume that someone who isn’t overweight has the answer to obesity? Or is it more likely that someone who isn’t overweight doesn’t have an obesity problem at all?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/19 06:50 AM
1

Your logic is flawed. Just because someone is a failure doesn’t mean they don’t have the right answer.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/19 10:51 PM
2

Yeah you don’t go to them for advice, but at the same time their shared perceived lackings aren’t indicative of their points lacking any merit.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/19 11:01 AM

Oh totally, I’m not disputing that.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/19 09:14 AM

Sex isn’t a need, but it’s looking like physical contact with other people might be if some more recent studies on physical contact and mental health are to be believed.

Oh thickness of many kinds is just fine, but my explanation is why I believe that thickness is accepted.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/19 01:00 AM

My own experience has been that most women don’t care unless the guy is an absolute Manlet. Then again, I’ve never gone for the type of women who are most likely to be the worst offenders.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/19 01:52 PM
8

I think that your supposition that the media is somehow wagging the dog on this is perhaps misplaced. I think that men are now used to thick women and the media responded.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/19 03:30 PM
2

I think eventually we will figure it out and enact a new social contract that will be more beneficial
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/19 03:15 AM
1

Most men when they like a women don’t much care what other men think. Now, if they have a negative social stigma and family or whatever hates them, that can be a big factor, otherwise though no.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/19 03:05 AM

There’s nothing good about hurting people and mistreating others for your own gain. That doesn’t make you a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/19 07:29 AM

Uhhhh depends on hotness I’d wager.🤷🏻‍♂️ it’s not that hard of a equation to figure out b0ss.

I know, you’re my wife’s boyfriend.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/19 05:44 AM

I eat everything in one sitting. Including the box. Then I shit it into the milk again and crush that. My wife’s boyfriend is always impressed, so you can take your sour apples back to butthurt orchard and tell your mom to pick you up from there, cuz you’re not being a very good friend!
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/19 05:43 AM

I just eat it at a normal pace, so it doesn’t get soggy. I’m sorry if you manage to fail at eating food, but I’d suggest picking up the pace.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/19 05:38 AM

Just eat your damn food for the love of god. It’s not an aged whiskey, it’s some Cookie Crisp. Eat it up and get out the damn house.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/19 05:37 AM
1

Ok but that problem isn’t fixed by putting the milk in first. Are you like just adding the cereal little by little and eating it each time? Is that the kind of life you live?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/19 05:32 AM
1

It’s like one second. That’s how much time you save, and in exchange you deny Christ like this. Absolutely disgusting.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/19 05:26 AM

What else is there..: like lions and snakes and global warming?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/19 05:53 PM
2

The tough part here is defining need. Also it’s important to note whether or not that need would exist if the other gender didn’t exist at all. Like, men and women don’t really need each other at all aside from procreation. If men exist, though, women need men to defend them from predatory men.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/19 02:07 PM
4

Well perhaps, but ultimately I’d be surprised if a matriarchal society didn’t at least put some restrictions on women’s sexuality. Like I’ve said things that have inherent value are always controlled.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/19 01:42 PM
7

Yes, but only if it infringes on the lives of others or is damaging. Hence why we have penalties for rape and stalking. The point is that by its nature things that are of value are always hoarded and protected. It isn’t the nature of polygamous societies or matriarchal societies or even patriarchal societies that causes women’s sexuality to be controlled. It’s the nature of all people and society to do so. Which is why I don’t disagree with op’s statements, I just wanted to offer a reframing of …
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/19 01:32 PM
2

I’m mostly pointing out that society as a whole is going to safeguard and control women’s sexuality. I’m sure that matriarchal societies do it in a far more progressive fashion, however the impetus to do so is still there. Ultimately women will suffer more under a patriarchy, but that’s really just degrees of the same idea. Every type of society will restrict women’s sexuality, I don’t think it is something we can effectively escape.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/19 01:24 PM
16

I won’t dispute your claims directly, however it is I think relevant to consider that if there is a reason men’s sexuality isn’t limited it is because men’s sexuality has almost zero societal or evolutionary value. There’s no need to control something that is worthless.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/19 01:20 PM
1

Honestly your willingness to help me even though I defy you is honestly very nice of you. I too believe that as men we need to look after each other, because no one else will. Stay strong my friend, but try to think a little better of your fellow humans if you can.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen12/09/19 07:52 AM
1

Well ok I don’t think they are any more manipulative than men. Of course women share all the evils of the species, but you can’t honestly believe most women are that sadistic and sick.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen12/09/19 07:28 AM
1

Honestly I don’t think this is very standard for most women. This is basically only behavior that the most manipulative and unethical women indulge in.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen12/09/19 06:09 AM

It’s really just very sad to see someone who thinks this behavior is ok.

Once we are all done rationalizing how useless half our population is, we’ll realize we are all equally worthy or worthless and we are slowly suffocating each other.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/19 09:51 AM

The larger truth is that as humans we are all trash. The best you can do is let your biology do most of the talking with some knowledge to keep you out of the deepest waters.

Ok have unwanted sex with. It’s still gross.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/19 03:15 PM

Obviously the fat one from ghostbusters. Being burned to death or raping someone sound a lot worse than sexual with a nice fat girl.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/19 02:50 PM

Yeah I definitely feel like some women insult men in those ways due to their own insecurities and for manipulation.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/19 04:13 PM
