They are definitely less promiscuous. "Las gringas" have a bad reputation over here. Also since there is no welfare (like in the US), single mothers really struggle and have to work tough jobs. I personally know many single mothers in their 40's (young single mothers are NOT like that though, they are more selfish) and believe me they really do everything for their kids, and most of them didn't divorce, it's actually quite rare, Mexico is one of the top countries with the lowest divorce rates.
