Whoever pays for the music decides what to play. No need to let him live at your place for free. Let him pay half of it but just NEVER EVER co sign a lease if you can avoid it. You want to have the “emergency eject” button under your control. By the way, I have a son of your age and that would be the same advise I would give him in your situation. 😘

Basically, you are right. BUT a nice guy otherwise might turn out to be a complete jerk if you have to live with him 24/7 under one roof. If you own the place or you alone are the one on the lease - where is the problem? Just kick his sorry ass out should he morph into something unexpected. I would rather test a guy for a while before getting engaged. No, I am not a woman but ai have a daughter a couple years older than you and that was the advice I gave my daughter. She did very well with it.

Get an ozone generator. I once had a dead rat trapped behind the drywall. Worked pretty good to break down the smell.

If you are over 70 with a boatload of medical conditions..., yes you have reasons to be afraid. But then you might also die in bed because someone left the window open and you catch a cold. I would be much more concerned about catching STD’s. Recent studies show that HIV infections are sharply on the rise but no one seems to o care. In your age group probably x times more people die in traffic then by COVID. If you are still concerned about covid, just wait with dating until the day after the US…

Exactly. I am 60 and still hesitant to have it done. I have 2 kids and don’t want any more at my age. But you never know...my father was 68 when they got my sister. I guess it’s psychology, foremost. I heard that they have some sort of experimental glue procedure in India which look promising just in case you want to do a reversal later.
