My ex ruined us financially while we were together, so and financial pain in our split is worth it. I know this pain is temporary and in the end I have a good job and it’ll all smooth out. Someone once asked me if I knew why divorce is so expensive - because it’s worth it.

Hard decision there. Is it better to grow up with divorced parents or in a house with two people that can’t stand each other? My parents were divorced but managed to stay civil through the years and it wasn’t bad at all. I would have much rather it have been that way than having them stay in a loveless marriage.
