I think your girlfriend was an asshole & there are other women who are also assholes. But that doesn’t mean that it’s unattractive or repulsive for man to be opening up and showing vulnerability - in fact I think it’s quite the opposite. I know many women who when their relationship is going through struggles have stuck with their man purely because he has shown vulnerable & opened up. A personal experience being a female family member who stuck with her partner through so much shit - he cheated…

I don’t agree with judging people based on the number they have slept with; I don’t think it makes someone a better or worse partner. However I’ve heard it from males & females so it works both ways, although usually it’s more biased against female promiscuity- I do know women would not date a man if he had slept around a lot. It’s definitely in relation to how they view sex like OP says - some are repulsed by casual sex as they view it strictly as something reserved for your “soul mate” / the o…

Absolutely! I can’t believe people actually think women only go for “looks” when 90% of the women I know choose their partner based on personality & long term compatibility after getting to really know them. Of course there are some women who go for attractiveness, wealth & other potential benefits but you’ll find the same with some men 🤷‍♀️

I mean it’s not even a male vs female thing. Once you truly have your life balanced, there is no such thing as needing a partner. That’s not to say that it’s not wanted because of course most people crave intimacy but if introducing that person would disrupt things then the very idea of pursuing that relationship becomes a complete afterthought. This doesn’t mean your life doesn’t change or progress or that a person lacks the ability compromise & make sacrifices in a relationship - many people w…

I think we have wildly different ideas to what wanting someone who won’t “disrupt the balance” in their lives means. What you describe is not a functional relationship, nor is it one that a single person who wants a long term partner desires. Some people want a partner to build a stable future together, they want that person to be on the same level as them maturity wise & also have the same kind of goals. Of course there are many people out there who want superficial relationships, full of drama…

It’s less to do with being attractive, more to do with not settling with anyone who won’t treat them the way that they want to be treated and also they don’t want a relationship to disrupt the balanced in their life. In fact, most long term single women & men who have their heads on straight, are on their set path to the future and won’t form a relationship with a person unless they will fit the bill, is a stable person and will be beneficial to both of their lives long term.

While of course I can’t speak for all women, I do believe that most women wouldn’t be confused or upset but instead would just enjoy the company & time chilling with you. If your intentions are geared towards her coming over for sex then that should be at least hinted at before she comes over - I personally wouldn’t like it if I thought we were hanging out and suddenly he makes a move.

I don’t think I would find doing chores a turn on, however having your partner put in the same energy into your lives (chores, work, planning & doing things together) would make me very affectionate because it’s watching the physical act of us building our lives together & supporting eachother/ourselves. I imagine it to be like the birds and animals that build nests to impress the mate except it’s both of us building the nest - it’s bound to make you feel ‘lovey dovey’

I asked my boss/mentor as he has experienced false accusations & he said well if you don't abuse anyone then ya have nothing to be worried about as the truth always comes out in the end. My boss is lovely but a product of his time, sexist & racist comments but I'm not bothered as I know he isn't saying anything out of hate - I understand the life he has lived & why he thinks the way he does - I believe everyone should be able to live the way they please if it isn't directly hurting anyone. We ge…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
