This might be worth a read. Basically, the simplest human civilizations were mostly egalitarian in nature and this notion of gender stratification mostly untrue. While whites may be, in general, a clear majority in the US, that certainly isn't the casein Georgia. So it is kind of odd how society in portrayed in this scenario.

The burden of proof is not on him to prove his is innocent. It is totally probable and even likely that the pervert tried to fight off the father, making significant force necessary. Using deadly force to stop a forcible felony is legally and morally acceptable. Unless you can prove that he killed out of vengeance, you have no reason to want this man in jail.

Reading another article about this, it seems that anti-gay sentiments would be more at fault for the nanny filing false reports than anti-male. To many bigots, homosexuality is a perversion. It's simply a continuation of this perversion for gays to be deviant, either with children or in other awful ways.

I could understand at first him not wanting to press charges. If someone was hammered drunk and acted the way she did and there was no serious injury then sure. But to see her sober pretty saying that it was his fault, yadda yadda, I think he realized that she has a serious violence problem.
