1	finally, a woman facing consequences for her actions No. The libel case was not against her, no matter how much lazy cultural hack writers and manosphrere click-baiters want it to have been. The case was a libel case against The Sun newspaper specifically. In order to win a libel case the burden of proof lies entirely on the person bringing the case to prove that the defendant (the newspaper) not only printed false statements but knew that they were false when they printed them and printed them anyway.
