Thank you <3 You make a great point with the current situation in Afghanistan. It really does go deeper than clothes. Nitpicking women on how they dress isn't the way to go.

Thank you. I dressed incredibly conservative in my teen years (and now that I'm in my twenties actually dress the way I like) and was still groomed by a guy 10 years my senior. I know OP didn't mean to victim blame, and they do offer solid advice in the rest of her post, but that first point felt like such a slap in the face. Clothes don't magically undo a man's misogyny. If anything, if a man mistreats a woman by how she dresses, then that says more about him than her.

Homeless women are more invisible. They may not have stable housing, but they'll usually do everything in their power to stay hidden. They'll couch surf with friends or relatives, some will endure abuse at homeless shelters for some time, some even exchange sexual services with sleazy men for a place to stay. The worst thing a homeless woman can experience is life on the streets. They absolutely will experience all forms of sexual assault.

I'm sure he'll eventually bitch about how she never lets him see her kid and how she poisoned her son against him 🥺

"Can't you just experience that with your own kids?" 💀💀

I was just about to mention that! Just today, I saw a woman on tiktok who explained how she lost all her teeth while carrying her 2 daughters. People made the most vile comments about her appearance and and accused her of lying and using drugs since pregnancy couldn't possibly have that kind of effect on her teeth ( you know, because they obviously know her body more than she does). Getting pregnant, not getting pregnant...just goes to show how much you risk getting stigmatized no matter your ch…

But they'll let men make posts about female privilege and how "men have it hard too!" Lmao you aren't missing out.

I'm also muslim and bi, and wow, it's a great(?) feeling knowing I'm not alone in this. I feel sick to my stomach knowing there are people out there fetishizing hijabi women. I once saw a reddit post where a man claimed he would seduce muslim women with compliments (because their men never give them any) and they would take off their hijabs for him and let him pump and dump them. I've even had a person try it on me on the subway, complimenting me, pressing me for personal information, and callin…

Hate how the term of simp has evolved into just standing up for/being decent to women.

I was just about to say this! Had a friend drain me for months with his emotional baggage and then try to start something with me :/ Thank god I found some sense and ended it. Like, I don't mind being there for my friends, but if it's always going to be about you and your problems in every single conversation we have, then our 'friendship' won't last.

Nah, as long as you're doing your job and are being decently pleasant, there's no issue. No customer is entitled to 'banter'. I personally used to make the mistake of being, I guess, 'too friendly' with older men, and some of them would read too deep into it and think I was flirting?? 🤢 Unless he's accompanied by another woman, then I don't bother going beyond the basics of customer service.

Notice how they only bring up mental health when trying to derail conversations about sexual assault? Also men's mental health is men's problem that should be brought up with other men. Men literally oppress other men into solitude to the point that their only 'mental health resource' is their female partners. Like?? It is literally not our problem, nor do we contribute to the epidemic?? Sorry for the mini-rant, but oh-boy I've been wanting to get that off my chest for a while now.

I've identified as bi since I was a teen, am in my twenties now. I wouldn't say all FDS content caters to me (even if it did, I have other identities besides being bi--and I've seen plenty of other posts that speak to them) , but I've never felt unwelcomed. Very happy here :)

I've never understood the logic behind this. Besides being incredibly low effort, why would I ever want to walk alone with a man I haven't even met in person? He could be a serial killer for all I know.

Ahh, your comment reminded me of an infuriating post where a man wrote that he'd been dating an Asian woman for years, but confessed he had no intentions of marrying her because he wanted his kids to look like him. Scum.

For sure. No way you conveniently wake up at 18-19 and realize you're both in 'love'.

This exactly! Just yesterday I saw a relationship post where a woman asked what she should do after her fiancé coerced her into having sex when she repeatedly said no because she had the flu. This man then had the nerve to kick her out after the deed was done and make her sleep on the couch because he "didn't want to catch it". Clearly, a relationship with a misogynistic pos isn't worth saving and yet I still found comments encouraging her to communicate with him and tell him this behaviour isn'…

If he doesn't have money, who you think is going to be responsible for end-of-life care in the next decade? Being an unpaid live-in nurse sure sounds like the dream🥴

r/AgeGapRelationship is a plague. They will literally support any gap as long as one of them (usually the girl) has reached the oh so mature age of 18.

A large part of graceful aging is the willingness to take care of yourself! The amount of men I know that neglect skincare and think sunscreen is for wusses is way too high. I bet your grandma makes sure give herself the self-love she deserves ( in addition to her natural beauty, of course ^^).

I've seen some scenes here and there, and I do think it's clever and cute show, but Richard makes it impossible for me to finish an episode🙃

Right?? I'm 24 and I still see 19 year olds as babies tbh. I can't imagine making it to 31 and and thinking "hm, yeah this kid is relationship material."

I saw this post! He claims the breakup was out of the blue, but when you look at his comments he says whenever his gf tried to communicate her issues with him he'd just shut down because he had a 'panic disorder.' Man didn't even know he needed dish soap to wash dishes 😭😭😭

People complain that "break up" advice is overused on that sub, but then you read stories like this and like??? Yeah, sure brad, wasting mental energy ""communicating"" with someone who doesn't listen and deflects blame is definitely the strat.

He wants someone decently ambitious, but not ambitious enough to out-do him. He's the 'man' after all.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
