Debating if digging that up just to make myself mad is worth it.

The misconception probably has something to do with the fact that masculinity is never brought up in a positive light, aside from right wingers lashing out and maybe TRP (for whatever that's worth). Only person I can think of that praises masculinity is Jordan Peterson, at least in the sense of toughing up and taking responsibility for yourself. Just look at the treatment he's getting just for saying that. So IMO, there's definetly some sort of anti-masculinity trend going on currently.

Do news sites no longer have comment sections? I was really curious to see how their audience reacted to that piece.

Same. She went deeper than we agreed upon, but wasn't a bad experience. It just felt like I was pooping...which isn't a terribly sexy feeling for me, so not a general fan of that kind of stuff. Though I keep hearing the prostate orgasm is amazing, so I might revisit it someday.

Not a huge fan of putting kink stuff under an umbrella term like "deviant" as well. I might be projecting, but it comes with a tone of "our way is the right way, the way you're doing it is abhorrent and wrong."

I feel her post was probably inspired by a bottle of wine.

Michael Jackson was a weird guy who did some...questionable things that were borderline inappropriate, but he was the victim of a smear campaign. For what it's worth, during his whole trial thing, i thought he was guilty and thought like you for a while. But years went by and more info came into light, and it became clear that MJ was the victim of that whole debacle.

Knew a guy from Winnipeg who still wore his captain's hat to the dinner table. Was rather self conscious about it since american girls aren't known for handling..."that" particularly well.

Honestly, just kinda sounds like you're the kid who now ONLY wants to play with the toy he was told he couldn't play with.
/r/seduction14/12/16 07:34 PM

lemme try and list them: setting yourself up for failure, getting your hopes up, losing whatever progress you've made so far, settling for a girl that in your time of need decided to bail instead of help build you up, drama. Honestly just do this, next time you feel like texting her or whatever...just jack off instead. See how much you feel like seeing her after that. If it's still there, then sure, go for it. But odds are you'll realize that it's a bad idea, and you're only trying to make thing…

Yeah, like I said it's definitely a YMMV situation. Especially if you just get a stone faced "I don't have any pets" answer. But over here in Minneapolis, lots of pet owners here. Lots of parks for dogs, and it's like a cat lady renaissance over here. We even have a cat video festival, and a cat cafe coming here soon.

Maybe if it's a cat owner. Dog owner however would be like, "oh here's one of him at the park, it was so funny because_____." So that's a couple minutes there. Then they move on to the next picture and usually there's some sort of anecdote to go with it as well. This strategy is great, especially if you have pets of your own.

Try not to overthink it. Say your girl is giving you head, and did quite a good job but in your head it still wasn't as good as this one particular blowjob from your past. Are you gonna say something like "God, you give the best head." or "You suck almost as good as Lindsay!"? I suppose the latter would work if you're trying to pull some "dread game" nonsense, but really it would be a dickish thing to say. If a woman is smart, she knows how to cater to the male ego. You're going to run yourself …

YMMV but my gameplan for dates looks something like this Step1: Order drinks. step2: ask her about her pets step3: finish your drink as she talk about her pets. (in my experience it's not that hard, once they start they don't stop) step4:Order another round step5:ask if she has any pictures. Step6:finish your drink as she shows you pictures of her pets and the accompanying stories that come along with said pictures. step7:Order another round By then, the ice has been broken and unless you're a c…

Ummm, sorry to hear you're dealing with this, but there really is no way to white knuckle your way through mental illness. This goes doubly for depression and things like BPD. You need to get back on your meds ASAP. If your bf/husband (sorry I refuse to say captain) has a problem with this, then you need to reconsider this whole relationship, since his decisions are literally making you miserable on a mental level.

I live in Minneapolis. The ratios are different, but really there is no place where all of a sudden women will be so desperate that they'll start making the first moves. That being said, ever since I moved here 4 years ago, I've had great success on online dating, and that's with an arguably shitty profile/SMV. I was working Crime Scene Clean Up for a while though, so having a job like that piqued interest more so than my pictures or anything like that. Guys here always stress the importance of …

Well if you're that curious about what other women are like, but don't wanna cheat, maybe a strip club would be a good option. Or hop on rubmaps and find a good rub and tug place.

eh, it all depends on the girl. My ex had a guy friend who I wasn't worried about at all. Met him one time, knew he was hopelessly in love but he was such a pussy "nice guy" that I didn't even register him as a threat. But my ex's need of attention/drama/validation was so high, she resorted to fucking around with him behind my back. So I go with the not trusting any guy friends mentality. Group settings are fine, but no 1 on 1 hang outs or getting rides home from/giving rides to them.

Yeah, I feel like most of the situation could have been avoided if op had more...finesse. But by bringing up the "tell me about your ex's" i have a feeling she was looking to start some shit regardless of circumstance.

I honestly enjoy compliments from gay guys. From my experience, they are the most shallow people on the planet, so if a gay guy flirts with me, I know I'm doing something right.

"Me and my friends need a female opinion on something, we've just been looking around and have all decided who the three most attractive girls are in here, in order, and want to know whether you agree with us?" I'm new here, but I just can't imagine a scenario where that line would actually work.

Had a couple people there call me "entitled". I'm honestly shocked no on in that thread has suggested counseling yet. They fuckin love that shit over there.

It's really eye opening experiencing it first hand. Just for comparisons sake, I searched that sub for women asking advice about being no longer attracted to their bf's/husbands, and the change of tune is fuckin drastic.
/r/askTRP31/08/16 08:47 PM

You're probably the most right person in this thread. When she brought up shaving first, I just went stone faced quiet, that's when she asked if I would dump her over it. She probably got the message loud and clear. Still though, panicking and saying I'd be fine with it was a mistake. So I'm gonna have to have a talk with her soon.
/r/askTRP31/08/16 07:46 PM

Also holy hell, I posted this first in /r/relationships, and mostly the consensus is that I'm an asshole for wanting to throw away a relationship over hair. I guess I'm an asshole for wanting to be attracted to my girlfriend?
/r/askTRP31/08/16 07:25 PM

Yep. I'm probably just gonna bring it up next time we're together and tell her what I really think about her shaving her head.
/r/askTRP31/08/16 07:23 PM

Yeah, I know I fucked up. Of course she brought this up just before going to bed, so part of my panic reaction of saying I wouldn't break up with her was the desire to avoid a fight at that hour. I'm just gonna have to talk with her later and say that after contemplation, I would not be in favor of her doing so.

If a girl isn't interested in sex, she shouldn't be partying, not to mention drinking. Could have gone without that line. Going to a bar/party IS an invitation to be hit on and such. But that's it. Saying a woman can't even imbibe without expecting to get fucked one way or another is just absurd. I swear, this sub reminds me a lot of Ron Paul. For every good point that's made, there's something that's just bat shit insane as well.

On the one hand, I respect the hustle. On the other hand....this is creepy as fuck. This sort of behavior is probably best kept yourself. If I knew you IRL and you told me you did this, you'd forever be "THAT guy" in my head....and no one wants to be THAT guy.

I side with the women's soccer on that issue though. This year's weirdness aside, our women's soccer team at least wins medals. Also our men's soccer team actually loses money (about 1 million), with ticket sales and whatnot, while the women's team makes a profit of around 5 million. Not disagreeing about the fact that men and women compete at completely different levels though. I just think success should be rewarded regardless of gender, and our men's soccer team haven't done jack shit. Then a…
