My first thought was that maby shes shy and feel more comfterble with her friends around. But i se nothing wrong in what you did. Maby i would ask if we could meet up with her friends a little later and just have an hour or two for our selfs to get to know each other. But yea i know that atatchment issue feeling aswell so I think maby this was the best dessition :).

"Phone date" Explain to her that ypu are verry bissy but that you want to talk and not just text. Shows that you're intrested enough and would go on a date if you had the time. And hopefully the time will come soon :). Keep on trucking along the lines you've been going beacuse she seem to be in too you :). You don't need to drink, acctually it may even be to your advantege to be clear headed. I don't go to clubs alone since it's hard to sociolize with the loud music. Thats why bars. Well. I usally go there and scout out the place get a feel for what groups seems to be the most open and just start with something along the lines of "Hi my ashole friends dissed me, need to make new ones" or some variations of that. Well, there is more to dating then just be able to smile and laugh. You need to wow them and find commenpoints of intressests so they can relate while at the same time be somewhat of a mistery. They as ai'm assure you need to feel that they have something to explore about your personality. Not just "look at this, im funny and good looking, date me". I usally just go out and get to know new people. If its a friendly town there should be no problem. Just be open and show that you can give something to the person or group you interact with. Be confident and if they give you the cold shoulder then just know and show them that its their loss and move on to the next group. Rotate around the bar and groups so it seems everyone knows you then new people who enters will find you more intresting aswell. ;) worked for me for years!
