I have worked with some in the past and at my company most of them married and didn't become 6-figure inc*ls.

not monetizable, just like Father's Day What. At least where I am Father's Day is a thing? I think it not being a big deal is also a reflection of peoples' relationships with their fathers. Edit: What I mean to say is I buy gifts and cards for my dad, uncle, and grandpa (before he passed). I don't buy gifts or cards for anyone for International Womens/Mens/Pizza Day.

It could be a defense mechanism against totally non-romantic stuff. I avoid eye contact because I've had so many people try to waste my time trying to sell me stuff or trying to get to me to join their cults.

Because there's no shame (and negatively, some pride with certain groups) in admitting you have a mental illness in liberal circles. Conservatives often range from calling it a weakness or a sin to flat-out denying it exists at all.

I wasn't so sure until I saw all the responses to that video of the Mennonite women who had no idea what Batman was. The idea of someone who knew absolutely nothing was incredibly appealing to a lot of the dudes on Twitter.

I've seen a few on Twitter. I think they're just role-playing female misogynists because if not, I am scared. One was a teacher who said she is intentionally going to either ignore or teach female students wrong because she thinks girls shouldn't know anything in order to be good slaves for daddy.

Your post and your title don't really match. A church Chad will have his pick of religious and traditional women, but generally they will want him to be in the "marriageable age" range 22-30 and demonstrate religious leadership/headship skills, or at least be a committed man of God. A recent unmarried "convert" at age 40+ isn't really going to have his pick of young tradcon virgins to marry at many churches because he will be an outsider or at the very least outside of the "normal" age to them. …

They're having sex with other women in this time, but they keep bothering the ones that they didn't get to claim, too. There's a guy I used to work with that kept messaging me periodically for YEARS after because he wanted to sleep with me. Not have a relationship, he wasn't interested in that.

Correct, it's dumb because they're buying gold digger bait but then complaining they attract gold diggers! But even normal women don't want to pay over 50% for the privilege of having a "high value man" around. Only Pick Mes.

It does kind of leave me laughing when you see guys saying they want to get a Bugatti to attract women, but never want to spend an additional cent on any woman and call anyone with expectations otherwise a gold digger. Not saying that's OP but it's becoming more of a thing.

they won’t love it when they’re wearing diapers for fecal incontinence, or shitting in a bag, or having a hysterectomy for cervical cancer. It's crazy how often you see guys online talking about that rosebud shit as literally blowing her back out. That's normally a medical emergency.

"I can cook well" can come off like a brag as well. "I can manage my own finances and have no debt" can sound like "ok, that's nothing to be proud of, welcome to being an adult," but then having a higher income makes these guys say "I don't care how much you make, that's not attractive to me." PCOS correlates with higher risk for ectopic pregnancy. Most of the current low-risk treatments for ectopic pregnancy are considered abortive in nature by Catholic hospital guidelines and treatment is deferred until your life is at risk, at which point they will attempt to remove your entire fallopian tube to remove the fetus. Today, you can go to another hospital if this happened to you, but if this became law, it is likely all hospitals would have to comply with this same directive and thus, a…

I'm not approaching anyone personally so this is all hypothetical but the problem is that not all guys know what a woman's intentions are and a lot of assumptions are being made, even if they're discussed (assumed to be lies). Hang around here awhile and you'll see it's a common sentiment from the guys here that only very attractive women are good people and honest about their intentions, because they don't need to sleep with more attractive men for validation. Something to do with hypergamy and their bias towards apex fallacy. The "average" woman is the most hated creature here because she can choose to have casual sex (not necessarily secure commitment as frequently) at a rate the "average" man cannot. Regardless of…

That sucks. I get bored here but that's probably partly living in the south bay, which weather-wise is a bit more like being in SF so you rarely need AC here, but the tradeoff is it's far from anything exciting.

That's good. It's still a procedure with a long and painful recovery time so I doubt it would explode in popularity.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/21 09:29 PM

It will never become popular because it's too expensive and invasive and you can't work out aside from physical therapy for about 6 months. If it were quick and easy it might but not the way it is now.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/21 07:09 PM
3

It's not a popular opinion because it sounds easy but it's expensive, painful, and will leave you basically disabled for months, only to come out at most 4 inches taller with weird proportions and at high risk for complications like blood clots, nerve damage, and dislocations. It's nowhere as simple as most other cosmetic surgeries because you're essentially breaking your legs in order to put them back together and you need those legs for everyday life.

What these groups actually want to get rid of is BC. As someone who uses it to not be in excruciating pain all the time (endometriosis) this is the actual thing that can and would affect me directly.

/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/21 09:15 PM

Yeah these charts are awful but I think they were trying to get at least 1 major racial group represented in each row. I have heard some people say Asians are never going to be above a 7.5 (am Asian and probably a 4.5 on this chart), ever, but that's frankly also equally subjective.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/21 09:01 PM

For some reason dudes on the internet only think anime is Shonen Jump and loli/Hentai and nothing else counts. So the girls that are into shojo and yaoi aren't like this at all but don't really register to dudes as "into anime" since it's not what they like.

Gaming is mainstream. A lot of anime is watched by casual fans. Nothing wrong with either. It's the people who start embracing their identities as Gamers and Otaku (Weebs) and get obsessed that get weird and unpleasant. Full disclosure, worked in a game-adjacent tech field, played games, watched anime and read manga through my mid-20s. There's a definite difference between casual fans and the weirdos.

They're not but the assertion that a woman who has a decent income is immediately unattractive unless her money comes from doing sex work is sort of extreme as well.

What's the alternative? Women who make a lot of money tend to be old, unattractive and difficult. The kind in suits that are senior bank managers, probably yeah. A lot of these guys are young and only make 6 figures because they work in tech. They can find a girl who works in tech in a similar salary range in the same age range, they definitely exist.

Yeah, and it's not like you can walk into a CVS and just buy it over the counter without going to the doctor first for a prescription for oral contraceptives. That really sounds like Tinder is oversaturated with dudes then. I'm not on any OLD sites and I still get weird facebook "Friend" requests from either old guys or dudes with the 6'2" music producer type photos. Ok, that's fair. I ask because there are some people who really would consider only their own needs here and dump quickly after taking what they wanted. Even in the scenarios where a woman has sex with a guy on the first date and he loses respect it isn't directly because you slept with him, its indirectly that he assumes you had sex with lots of other men and that asuption is the root of what makes him lose interest. The problem with this is that it's entirely subjective beyond attractive/unattractive. You call Tom Brady a 9.5 but Tom Hardy a 7 and I'm willing to bet there are a lot of women here who would invert those ratings.

Devil's Advocate type question... so let's say you finally get a date with a virgin. After a few dates (more than you would put up with from someone with any experience), you finally convince her to have sex. And it's terrible. Then what? Do you dump her and consider her used goods and move on to the next virgin, or do you stay with her and keep trying? What if you don't like her enough to stick around?

This is a weird concept for me because where I live (Southern California), most private schools are only for the obscenely wealthy/famous or the religious. The direct cause isn't fully understood but the risk is higher if you have PCOS (which I do), have low body weight or are under 35 or have high estrogen levels before taking the HCG trigger shot before the procedure. In my case I had also been taking Lupron for several months before I started on the other treatments to stimulate egg production so that might have added to it.

Yesterday I saw a pretty girl at the mall and I thought "she's really a good breeding specimen, I wish I could have her eggs and then have kids with her dna". Who is going to actually carry the kids? You're not a salmon that can just spooge on the eggs and leave them to hatch in the river.

They just lost so they probably also lost their homes and livelihoods (much of Japan was firebombed to hell), had little money, and were malnourished from years of war rationing. That's of the men that survived. I've watched countless documentaries about postwar Japan and a common lament among these women was that all the young men in their age group were drafted into the military and subsequently killed in the war.

To quote my friend who falls in the omega male category for most the reasons mentioned, "who wants to do all that?" He probably still does better than some of the incels though, because he's not hateful and actually wants to talk to women. If you're looking for the best, look for Egyptian or Turkish cotton. Egyptian cotton is supposed to be the softest and most absorbent, but it may not be the best choice if you live in a humid climate since once wet, it takes a long time to dry out so is prone to mildew growth in those areas. Turkish cotton is less absorbent but is a good luxury alternative and dries on the towel rack quickly. I bought my Ralph Lauren Turkish towels from Macy's nearly a decade ago and they're still holding up wel…

Did a homestay in Japan for the summer in college, definitely would not have happened. In true public, like on the street, I don't evaluate the attractiveness of strangers at all. In places like work or a class where I can see how they talk or move or smell, maybe 35%.

Muscle can help with face and frame. Guys with a doughy face who lose the fat through lifting can improve their appearance that way, and this can give them confidence. Fitness is never a bad idea. The problem is when they believe it is the only idea.

It's irritating and I'm not looking to date them, this just comes up in conversations but it makes me think that might be happening for a lot of other actual low-N women too.

Correct, women care as much about your watch as you care about their purse. It's an item to impress other men, not women. If it helps you feel confident that's good but you'd be better off spending that money on a closet full of flattering clothes and taking your car to get maintained and detailed than on a timepiece.

Do you know how we know? As soon as women have children, if it's any way financially possible, a majority of women drop out of the work for, temporarily or permanently. And a lot of this is because childcare is very expensive and if she doesn't earn enough money, she's basically just working to pay for childcare she could do herself. Then, children don't go to school full-time until they're 5, so that's 5 years out of the workforce assuming she doesn't have more kids. Depending on the job, it ma…

Generally the goal of homeownership, aside from merely having a place to live, is that you are purchasing an investment in the form of an appreciable asset that will provide you profit upon sale. In certain markets at the moment, it does seem questionable to buy in if you can't afford it and the amount you have to invest isn't enough to make the monthly mortgage/insurance near the price of market rent or if the property itself seems massively overvalued. But overall, it is a sound long-term stra…

Human Anthopology 101: pre-civilization humans living in nomadic hunter-gatherer groups required a lot of investment from both the male and the female to survive. I saw Kelly Brook at The Grove a few years ago, sitting by herself taking selfies. Those measurements are super wrong. If I didn’t know she was famous I would assume she was a normal girl because of her size as celebs in LA (at the time I guess) were usually super slim.

It's true it's not hard not to become obese, but there's a huge difference between 'not fat' and ready to wear a bikini and look good in it this afternoon. Just being 'not fat' doesn't make a woman attractive, it just makes her not fat.

Maybe. Maybe screaming and shoving their faces in the direction of some dancer's extremely flaccid junk was just part of the experience there. I sure didn't enjoy it.

I went to one when I was 20 because my roommate forced me to go with her and her friends. It was embarrassing and all the dancers were clearly gay but some of the horny 50 year old ladies didn't seem to mind. Edited to add I refuse to ever go back to one.

Woman 1 is almost literally my friend, except she plays sports so she’s not fat. She’s just kind of masculine but she finally found a guy that’s into her and they had their golf-themed wedding. Her company isn’t beauty-oriented and she never wears makeup. Most of the nurses I know aren’t very fit.

/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/19 08:28 PM

Wide hips and breasts are probably enough to convey fertility without overlapping with traits old people have. If you actually want to have a child, a woman can have these things and still be infertile, whereas having a child is proof she can probably have another. Most people aren't consciously selecting for the literal ability to have a child right now though.

I personally don't care about this double standard but I take offense to the guys who say a low n-count is important (I'm not a slut myself, I'm ok with this) but ALSO that every girl should sleep with a man on the first date because to do otherwise is manipulative and denying him the opportunity to evaluate if he wants a relationship with her or dump her immediately if the sex wasn't good.

I watched a TV documentary about women in Tajikistan last week, where until 2011 most marriages were religious (Islamic) marriages only and not registered with the state. This became an issue because a lot of men leave the country and move to Russia for work and send money back to their families, but end up deciding to stay in Russia and divorce their wives back home in order to marry Russian women. Supposed to be, yes. Apparently many people don’t understand the both parties part and get someone unfamiliar with family law to draft up something that sounds good to them but won’t be an ebforceable contract. You could present me with a 30-page document that contains the clause that I am now your slave and forfeit all legal rights, but even if I sign it, a judge will not rule that a legal document.

Agree with your 1 and 2. Re: prenups, a lot of prenups are thrown out because they're not made in good faith with appropriate legal representation on both sides. Telling your fiancee 2 days before the wedding to "sign here or the wedding is off" and then her finding out the prenup said she surrenders everything and is left destitute if you decide to divorce her for your secretary? Won't fly with any judge.

I agree with you in general but I could see it happening if he has negative social skills; e.g. opening with extreme negs, being a jerk in general, etc. Girls may be afraid of confrontation but everyone reacts more strongly when they feel they're being attacked.

Shouldn't it also make sense that a SAHM's responsibilities include making and tailoring clothes for the family out of raw materials with intricate full-color embroidery, producing high-quality homemade food, and, preferably, also homemade beer? I have never met anyone who does these all things outside of a hobby (aside from cooking, of course). What century are you from? Is she allowed to buy butter from the store or does she have to churn it herself too?

I honestly thought MGTOW sounded like a nice idea before I saw the subreddit. I expected it to be men talking about traditionally manly pursuits without the need for validation or approval from women. The male equivalent of old cat ladies talking about cats and knitting and generally not even acknowledging the other sex exists, if you will. That's... not what it is.

Some of these guys are also old and out of shape too. There aren't enough models for every guy who has a decent career to have one. There aren't enough cheerleaders for every boy in school to have one.

Compared to other countries, yes, but it's often what goes with it that is universally unattractive. Obesity is very often accompanied by poor health, poor hygiene, low motivation, lack of energy, laziness, lack of willpower, etc.

It happened to my friend after she broke up with her shitty ex, he posted photos of her all over and she found out, it ended up being the straw that broke the camel's back and she had a full-on mental breakdown over it. Went nuts, lost her job (as a teacher), had to hospitalize her, etc. I don't blame him specifically for her mental illness because I'm pretty sure she already had issues before him but it was an incredibly shitty thing to do.

There are bound to be some women who are DTF and many, many who aren't. I still doubt he's having hardcore, performative porn sex with them within 30 minutes of meeting them. I also think there are bound to be lots of women he encounters who aren't receptive for a number of other normal reasons that he'll just not talk about because nothing ever happened.

Really hard to see without seeing what they and their partners look like in real life, but in real life I see couples all the time that appear looksmatched, at least in my opinion. Maybe the perspective of women here is different because they don't use dating apps, so when they meet a guy it's based on more than just a photo and whatever he wants to make up about himself to represent his profile online.

/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/19 02:07 AM

Picky by their own individual criteria. The problem with PPD is men here try to set their standards for women's choices in men based off what they think and that's the stuff women here say they don't care about. "I didn't like him because he said something weird to me that made me feel unsafe and smelled funny" might be a reason why she doesn't call you back and this somehow becomes "she didn't like me because I'm not 6'3" and my jaw must not be square enough" because she didn't tell you why she…

I think it's a fine and good idea when practical. I practice this most of the time, though I make an exception for my gay, married friend, but I always tell my SO ahead of time. I might walk to get coffee with a colleague and talk about work stuff, but I don't really count that as alone time. Basically if my SO is fine with it then it's no big deal. The rule about never drinking without his wife present is more weird to me. And calling his wife 'mother'.

I don't want to go into how "women have it harder than men waaah" or anything here but he's the guy so it should be a little easier. If the husband's family is traditionally asian and strict, they might expect the daughter-in-law to move in with them and be at the beck and call of his mother but they usually don't put these expectation the husbands of their daughters. Make sure they don't expect you to pay a bride price or a dowry though.

I guess you can have a butterface and still have a perfect hourglass figure and men will be interested (hence the term), but it's not simply "just don't be fat." However, I think you have a point in that women do overestimate how thin men expect women to be when they say "don't be fat," women suddenly think this means you must look like a supermodel or some delicate waif when for a lot of guys it usually just means a pretty woman with a healthy BMI is fine.

Condos are usually less because they’re less square footage (meterage) but you might be paying out the ass for HOA fees in the future unlike in a house. Where I live, the model used to be, buy a condo when you’re young as a starter home and then buy a single-family house later on when you have kids etc. However, with the price of a house being near $1M for a basic small house, a lot of people can’t afford to do this anymore.

One, this wouldn't explain why women are so hellbent on emphasizing height. You could easily turn this around and say men are hellbent on emphasizing breast size. And so just like how the itty bitty titty committee will come out and raise their hands and say NAMALT, there are also women who aren't into tall men.

I agree with this one! But my all-time favorite is James McAvoy, who’d also probably confound these guys. And not because of the muscle in Glass, I’ve liked him for years, even when he was a skinny, floppy boy.

Isn’t “universal healthcare” just the official version of “subsidizing retards” though? It is but it reduces the penalty for actual payers. Right now, if you got into an accident and were treated by a specialist at the hospital nearest to where your life could be saved that happened to be out of network, your insurance could refuse to pay and you'd be on the hook for tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars, simply because you were treated by the wrong provider. The AITA OP is also a woman and was so appalled by her friend's actions and excuses that she made this post so you could all jerk about it. Yes, the friend is selfish and terrible but there's no evidence that women are more likely to do something like that from this thread. The friend is trash and most people agree regardless of gender.

Also men were usually stripped of shirts for flogging. They didn't want to strip women for modesty reasons. Kind of like how women got burned at the stake instead of drawn and quartered so the executioners didn't have to expose women's obscene breasts to the crowd.

Maybe "Creep" as a noun. "Creepy" as an adjective is still used for all sorts of stuff that has nothing to do specifically with sexually unnattractive men. Horror movies, child predators, abandoned murder houses, and Kathy Bates in Misery are all things that can be described as "creepy." Creep usually describes the behavior as well as the appearance.

You don't have a time limit when it comes to building a career Actually, you kind of do. Age discrimination may be technically illegal, but most people are way more likely to hire a 22 year old recent graduate for an entry-level position than a 40 year old mom with no experience in the working world. Plus, if she needs retirement savings and starts at age 40, she’d be way, way behind someone who started contributing at age 22, even if they stopped contributing for awhile.

I would guess revoking custody from the mother wouldn't happen because: The presumed (not actual) father probably wouldn't want custody of the child he discovers is not his. The actual father likely doesn't even know about the existence of the child and would not likely want custody of a surprise child. Thus unless some other party steps in, the child is now the problem of the state.

Yes, I like to give and to receive. Love both. I think the difference here is you know what you’re doing, you’ve received and thus you understand the need for prep. A lot of young dudes don’t see this aspect since they’re never show that in porn, so some guys literally think women’s assholes are lubed and ready to go like the vag and he can switch holes without warning during the act. My guess is white/Japanese.

Split the bill if you don't want them to think you owe them something else. A lot of things that worked in days of yore Also, the period of time where most middle-class women were SAHMs with a lifestyle we're thinking of today was a very short period of time in history after WWII. if I in any way thought my bf was better than me in any sense, at anything, then I was hypergamous. But if you thought he wasn't better than you in any sense, you must be an arrogant feminazi who hasn't learned her place who is planning to cheat on him with the pizza delivery boy. Can't win with these guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/18 09:17 PM
6

so if a guy is actually honest with her and tells her she nasty, she's less inclined to believe him. Conversely you also have those women who have low self-esteem and have been burned so they lash out and push others away, even men with genuine attraction and good intentions. They might hold up impossible standards as a defense mechanism so they can remain alone and bitter.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/18 02:20 AM
2

I mean, I guess it depends who's determining whether they can cook or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/18 09:08 PM
3

That's my point. My SO likes what I make but I'm not the type of cook that people will rave about so I usually just say I can't cook. I got asked to make a breakfast casserole once (I don't do casseroles because I don't like them) and it was pretty unspectacular and I've never forgotten that.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/18 08:24 PM
3

The latter is why I'm not a confident cook. I cook at least twice a week ("fairly basic meals" from scratch) but I'm not an entertaining-for-groups-of-20 kind of cook.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/18 08:20 PM
4

I'm wondering if the perception of people not knowing how to cook is that these people literally could not feed themselves, or if they just say they don't know because there's a large gap between "can make myself a sandwich" and "can make a full Thanksgiving dinner that everyone agrees is delicious."
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/18 08:11 PM

Thanks for the clarification. I suppose the "technical" part of any illegality is due to the previous law still being in place and the provisions of the Maternal Protection Law being that it was legal provided certain criteria is met, which just about anyone can claim. The entire point of my original comment was not that it was difficult to obtain because it is not, but that it doesn't carry the moral stigma you find in the West.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/18 06:31 PM
5

I meant in Japan it is technically illegal but no one cares. I didn’t say it was prosecuted in the US/Can, that’s a non-starter, especially while it’s legal.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/18 08:51 AM
2

Conversely, I’m ok with being fun and youthful as long as he otherwise has his shit together. There’s a guy I know that gets really excited about things and I think it’s actually really attractive. Also I’m older than you so I don’t think it’s just something all people grow out of necessarily.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/18 07:50 AM
7

In Japan, abortion is the common solution to this problem because it doesn’t carry the same moral issues you find in the West. It’s technically still illegal but it’s very commonly practiced and not prosecuted.

I've grown up around a lot of them in my community and it was never a problem until Elliot Roger and the famous subreddit really showed up. Most of the half-Japanese hapas I've known IRL have no interest in dating full Japanese-Americans anyway so the bitterness over there was initially strange to me. But I know AMWF hapas as well as WMAF. It seems more common in my community since most of us are very (3+ generations) American.

A 7/10 Indian guy is a 7/10 Indian guy. But an Indian guy is statistically more likely to be unattractive over a white guy and also shorter, so if you give a description of a person with either "Indian guy" or "white guy" they will assume the white guy will have better features and taller so they would most likely go more for the white guy just off that description. Why are you even discussing this then? Doesn't it only matter what a prospective partner will think of you when your picture comes …

The girl will have the highest SMV combo of race gender Probably not. Weebs are overrepresented on the web. In my experience as a Japanese female (ok maybe Koreans are rated more highly now? who knows), it's really only other Asian guys that are interested if you're born and raised in the west.

I'm not white. I'm Indian. I think you have some self-reflection to do then. Stop focusing on orbit shape and tendencies, it borders on phrenology and you can only fix yourself. Looking at tendencies and trying to apply them to yourself is useless. I've known some very attractive (and even tall) Indian guys but since I'm not white either you probably don't care what I have to say since you've put Whiteness on a pedestal.

That doesn't strike you as subjective in any way? It's always assumed a white guy is going to be more attractive? Perhaps this is because it's white people (i.e., you) making up the rules here. For example, Indians have terrible eye areas almost always even if they have good everything else. "Terrible eye areas" is some Incel bullshit btw.

That's exactly why preferences are a thing. Certain redditors believe entire races are an automatic 2 or 3pt deduction or addition, or that blond men aren't hot at all, or that blond men are the hottest, or that women are ugly if they have big noses, or that big noses are the best, etc etc etc. It's true that most young, fit people find obese people less attractive than other fit people, but within those general guidelines preferences vary widely and will influence your perception of someone els…

I love Hawaii but I do love visiting the cold, too. It's super nasty and hazy right now from all the fires. Yay brown skies.

You've talked about it ad nauseam. Yes I've been there. It's like any other California city. Some nice parts, some crappy parts. I live in LA though so ¯_(ツ)_/¯ I just don't get why you think it's paradise compared to like, Maui or New Zealand or somewhere else more exotic.

In the US? Have you seen Americans, especially in prole areas? I say 23 because it's the age when a lot of other people are starting to make money where they can support themselves and not have to ask you to be a beta bux for them.

They also have no means to support themselves if they just work at the mall so once you knock them up at 23 they stay home and get fat and ask you for money.

AMP isn’t a site, it’s just a Google-hosted version of a page optimized for mobile (no JavaScript, limited CSS), is there some sort of agenda you’re associating with that?

Most women do not realize how rare men are once you stray from the median, overweight, 30K a year male. Maybe in small towns. In major cities this doesn't describe the majority of young men.

wealthy elderly man in this late 70's who was dying at home. He had a wife who was either in her late 40's or early 50's. In b4 "well duh she's too old, he should have been with a 22 year old so he's not a real alpha"

For me it would depend on what he's doing. I don't mind if he's doing something productive and getting other things done that contribute to the relationship, but not if it means playing Wow and LoL and watching porn and anime all day, then shouting at me that he's hungry and wants dinner if I'm late coming home from work. FWIW, I think stay-at-home wives who do nothing productive all day are just as bad.

the men who don't want kids never change their mind. For the most part. SO suddenly wants multiple kids, Catholic-style, at 40. I don't. I was always ambivalent about it but I fall under the medical issue camp and I don't really want this anymore. The reason he's changed his mind? All his friends at work now are dads who keep telling him how great it is.

I got downvoted but the other comments in this thread support the idea I’m not alone. Unless he’s a widower, there’s going to be the actual mother to deal with, and often the kids will not take kindly to having her be “replaced” by daddy’s new plate unless she was a terrible person.

Basically yes, and the assertion that gets bounced around in this sub by certain men that since all women love babies and children then they’d just love to become an insta-mom to the kids you just wrestled away from your batshit ex is totally off-base for many of the women here and a lot of women in general.

Women can overcome less than stellar looks by being friendly, flirty, and enthusiastic -- provided they meet the bare minimum floor for looks. There are also guys here who say they know the second they meet a woman if they want to fuck her or not and that won't ever change in the future unless she does something incredibly drastic to improve herself because from that point forward she will only get older and less attractive. I'm not saying you're wrong but YMMV.

I understand what you're saying here but I've seen the opposite happen a lot: Guys can also bond with each other just on a superficial level. New guy shows up to a party. Everyone says 'sup' and offers him a beer. Next thing we know he's hanging out with the group (guys) and they barely know a thing about him, except he's cool and he likes video games so that's enough to bond over. Women can be superficially nice but sometimes too cliquish to actually let a newcomer bond into the group, particul…

Short to average height, big eyes, high brows, aquiline nose shape, nice smile, non-square jaw. James McAvoy is my favorite. Not picky about coloring as there are Asian guys that have this combination of features. Maybe my first bf.
