Apparently it's sexist, condescending, AND hostile to compliment a woman on how she looksI like how they try to cite a study done in 1996. I'm sure 17 years hasn't had an impact on societ. Oh, did I mention the supreme court is expected to make a ruling in favor of same-sex marriage this summer? Nope, time doesn't change social values. | /r/MensRights | 05/04/13 07:31 PM
Petition the White House to protect infant males from circumcision with the 14th AmendmentQuite interesting, many thanks. As a circumcised male who had coroborating education, I had never thought to research the contrary. Even more strongly reinforces my anti-circumcision point of view. | /r/MensRights | 11/03/13 04:38 AM
Petition the White House to protect infant males from circumcision with the 14th AmendmentSource? Not to be an ass, I am generally curious to see what current research says. My information is a decade old. | /r/MensRights | 11/03/13 04:10 AM
Petition the White House to protect infant males from circumcision with the 14th AmendmentThe head is indeed the most sensitive part, the foreskin is the protection :P I've never heard of anybody having legitimate medical issues from having a foreskin, we had it for countless millenia prior to the advent of circumcision, afterall. It's a soft piece of flesh that can be easily pulled back; it's essentially a sheath with the sole purpose of allowing the head to be exposed durring arousal. Male circumcision and female circumcision are done for the same reason; they're performed to stiff… | /r/MensRights | 11/03/13 12:03 AM
Petition the White House to protect infant males from circumcision with the 14th AmendmentMale circumcision removes the protection of the most sensitive part of the penis. This results in the deadening of nerve endings, causing the partial loss of sensation. There is a slight* hygene benefit, but it was originally done to make us "less lustful." There is no practical reason for either sex to be circumcised. *cleaning = pulling back hood, rinsing. That's how slightly I mean, it makes us not have to pull back the hood to clean. | /r/MensRights | 10/03/13 11:42 PM
Petition the White House to protect infant males from circumcision with the 14th AmendmentYou can disagree with my word choice all you want, but you didn't even try to argue your point any further. Do you also support female circumcision as well? My issue with male circumcision isn't with the physical effects, as they are relatively minor, but with the psychological message it sends. No child deserves to be told, in the most obvious and permanent of ways, that they aren't in charge of their own sexuality and that there's something so wrong with their genitals they have to be surgical… | /r/MensRights | 10/03/13 07:02 PM
