All I know is that it's a problem mind set. On both sides of the fence. It hurts relationships. And it's a toxic mindset. That one particular person has to be more successful in the relationship.

Not when you have equality between genders. If you are a successful woman, finding someone that fulfill those standards will be near impossible because you will have to find a more successful man. Its an old sexist ideal, either it needs to die out or woman need to be less seccessful.

Oh I am not into men. And dating shorter is not dating down. Though I do prefer woman 5'9 and taller. In high school my gf was 6'5. But I dont have a problem with dating shorties.

Everyone deserves to be with someone who thinks we are great partners. Not just someone who considers us a back up plan. I am also very ADHD and lexdysic.

Also old notions of a man has to provide for a woman are just 70 years ago old, same as racism. Its just sexist ideals that need to die.

Then they need to stop being strong and independent. If you have a problem with making more than a guy. Do something to lessen your income if its that much of problem. You cant have it both ways.

I would never date a woman who is dating down. That means they are toxic and feel like they are better than me. I am awesome and a catch. I deserve a woman who can see that verses a girl who has to lower themselves to even think about dating me. I deserve better. Also I am an amazon with DDDs.

It can be used for political means but thats not what the video is trying to do here. Its an awareness video. To show how people react and to change our mind on how we should react to a stitch. Its not pushing for a political change just a social one.

Except its not about policy change that the video champions for, its social change at the deepest level. Its not a political video its sociology video. political: relating to the government or the public affairs of a country. relating to the ideas or strategies of a particular party or group in politics. interested in or active in politics. as far as I know there's no MRA party or organization. Just a social movement.

Same can be said about men's rights. It's the same thing. There are as toxic people here as there are in feminist and I am sorry that you can not see the good.
/r/MensRights26/02/18 06:06 AM

It's seems like a lot of hoops just to justify your notion of feminists = bad. I just see feminist as human. Which is some are bad some are good.

Fighting inequality for women doesn't mean that they are bad people right off the bat. But there are many who are toxic. Same for the men's rights, there are good well meaning people. And there are also assholes.

Men and women have different brains. There's sexual dimorphism. I know this because it's basic human anatomy and physiology. I am a trans woman and a Radiologic technologist aka xray tech aka medical imager. I argued with many trolls that sexual dimorphism of brains exists and that trans people have brain sex dimorphism corresponding with their gender identity. I have read tons of studys regarding this subject. Women and men are different. That's OK. Does not mean that one sex is superior to the…

We are still in the study phase. the brain is very complex but every study I have read on the subject does conclude that people have brain dimorphism that matches gender identity. Science moves slowly, especially when the science relies on medical imaging technology. Which is my field of study. I'm a radiologic technologist. Its also slow to improve. Which means our knowledge is slow to improve for now.

And speaking about the issues, may not do as much as actually doing meaningful work but it can change people's mind. Which is often the first step to lastly change. As a trans woman and a victim of domestic violence(back when I was on the masculine side of things.) the way abused men in society are treated is out right shameful. They are treated like the abuser, instead of the victim. And when I needed help there was none available for men. The closest thing that they had was a group for abusers to reform. There are literally 100s of programs for women. Not a single one for men. It's fucking shameful. It's still something that makes me very emotional. And I…

Well there's more than genitals that determines sex now of days. And the whole thing of assigning someone a sex based on their gentia is antiquated. There's many factors in determining sex. Brain sex being on of the most important parts. Yes, brain sex is a thing. The brain has a sexual dimorphism of male and female, well it's actually a spectrum. It should be noted that it compares suicide rates post op trans people with the general population and not pre op. Trans folk already have an extremely high rate of attempts. Transition including gender reassignment surgery lowers those rates. The study is flawed in this regard.

Well I don't plan on getting the full treatment, just a little plastic surgery on my face, lots of estrogen, makeup, dresses and what not. I live in a state where you don't need to have the bottom surgery to change ids. And unofficial I have identified as female for a long as I know, same with being a lesbian. =) and I am more a long the lines of duel gender or gender fuild.

On identification and birth certificates. It depends from state to state. Also just say official change of gender.

Well I actually do identify as a woman and on my road to womanhood. It's not a fun ride.

Ha I was/ am a swimmer. and I just started my transition not to long ago. I was an normal hetro man, now a lesbian woman. I always knew I was trans, but has taking me a bit to come to terms. what got me bullied was my adhd and the lack of verbal filter and hyper emotional states that came with it. and Yes I know cruality. I just know how to shrug it off and its less likely to effect me. Also just an fyi gender doesnt effect sexuality. I love women and will always. I never cared for guys much. ma…

trans woman here, I find that many trans issues overlap with mens issues. Especially with parental rights. edit I have been bullied most of my life. I wish people were more loving. I can stand bullying. And I am sad of those who cant. :( I would give them a hug, shoulder to cry on and use them to help hold them up. my shoulders are still quite broad. ;)

Trans woman here,You can be arrested for prostitution when going for a night out on the town, if you are not careful. So yes, policing. Also why should it be unacceptable even if I was just cross-dressing. If a certain style of clothing is your thing and makes you happy, why should it be unacceptable. It pretty much going back to the whole emulating a women makes you less of a man. Now as a trans woman I am not any less of a man than I was before my transition to womanhood, I am just more of a w…

Trans women here, I am tons more likely to be a victim of a hate crime. I would not take any extra risks or make myself stand out anymore than I already do. They say its victim blaming, I say its being smart.

Trans here too. Yes, me too. I rather associate with MRA until it becomes like feminism today.

correct, except we have or once had a penis. Which makes us automatically men in the eyes of a lot of feminist. And therefore evil.

thats a woman hitting a man. He has male levels testosterone in his system. therefore biochemically male. Btw trans man is someone who is female to male. Just so we are on the same page.

This is why I like this sub, This is a prefect example how trans rights and mens rights overlap. In a lot of the trans subs there is a strong feminist movement. They dont realize how quickly feminist will throw them under the bus.

I had a cabbage patch doll. Then again I not exactly a good example.

As a girl who was gendered male at birth. There is a lot of things here for us trans folk. I mean there are a lot of trans woman who have fathered child who have issues parental rights. There are a lot of issues that translate over.

I'm a trans woman, yes. and I was making a joke on the stereotype. Playing with dolls doesnt make you trans or gay. Yes, it isnt easy being either. The only thing that matters is that she loves her son no matter what.

Yup, I'm a transwoman. Believe it or not, this sub is relevant to trans folk, because half us did time as men and the other half are men now. Paternity issues, especially are a problem with transwomen. A lot of it still translates over.

I had to fix my sisters barbies that they pulled the heads off. also played house, and had to be the husband. Well not any more. Now I just have to find a nice girl to play for real.

I had a cabbage patch doll, played with barbies with my sister and legos growing up. I turned out fine. Then again, I transitioned to become a woman. So I may not be the best example. Still I say that there is nothing wrong with it.

I would Stay,Just tell them I am a woman, that I am trans, and how dare they judge me based upon my sex, and not my gender. I am still not out of the closet. Still present as male. All of which is true.
