Well, OriginalPostrSociety described it a bit more further down but I will try to explain how it usually is for me (female - now 34 but that’s not really relevant since it hasn’t changed much): I go out to a bar/pub with a/some friend(s). 1	Hookups ?? What are those?? For me there’s kissing in between - and sometimes alcohol involved as well (often). I talk to someone I find interesting/sexy/charming, and at some point I ask if I can kiss him (sometimes it’s the other way around, sometimes it just happens). Then we go home and have sex.
