This is so irresponsible and hardly ever said by anyone who has actually lost significant weight. Eating 1000 kcal per day IS FINE LADIES. Its more than fine. It will work without doubt. It can't not work. You will see results. Please provide evidence of these major health issues? Your just scaring women off effective dieting and there is ALWAYS at least one of you ready to pop up with this misinformation. In my experience its often given by women who are themselves afraid to commit to losing we…

Ahhh I get it and yes to all the benefits of tradition and doing it your way but... I do think its a prejudice you have there and its pretty explicit. Its a preference that could end a relationship sure but I don't agree that you can make the sweeping blanket judgement against men for it, that's pretty funny really. As a man, every woman I've been with for more than 1 year has tried to push marriage too early, often bringing it up and pressuring 6 months in. Its a massive burden when women put u…

I don't know about that, have you ever found yourself in that situation really? In my experience commitment is established within months or a couple of years Max. I think its totally unfair to only call state sanctioned commitment real commitment as you imply here tbh. Every couple goes through the process of becoming exclusive and committed, it doesn't take 8 years for the vast vast majority of people. Is it possible that some people (read: women) are struggling to separate getting their big da…

Please avoid condescendingly assuming. Clearly I read the post, how insulting. I even said, different perspectives clearly, hoping to tempt a useful response which someone else happily chimed in with. People don't just fall into 8 year relationships, they certainly don't get there without having conversations about whether they are committed and I picked your post to respond to for a reason.

How is being with someone for 8 years avoiding commitment? Different perspectives at play I guess.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
