It is pretty hyperbolic. However, I do generally suggest that men look for wives outside of cities and far away from the US east or west coasts. There are plenty of good women out there, but get away from the zones of terror.

I don’t think that’s what is being said. I think he is saying that if she took the picture, simply giving him a copy wouldn’t necessarily transfer any implicit copyright. However, if he took the photo, that should be his copyright. /u/EtherMan , is that what you were saying?

As far as I am aware the judge would simply send you to jail for not complying with a court order. It isn’t common, but it does happen to people who repeatedly refuse to comply with court orders. I’ve never seen it happen to someone of means, but it could conceivably happen if the judge is pissed off enough.
