Somewhere with plenty of room and the ability to have few beers and a chinwag with a few good friends around a fire.

"Once the initial buzz of getting in a relationship wore off, I just felt like I had another liability on my hands that got more & more expensive. " Perfect.

Yep, the women hate you, and the men envy you. But the men can't be seen by their wives/GFs to wish they were you, so they'll put on a show for their women. You are winning, but none of them can or will ever tell you that. Know this in silence, go about your great life.

I would vote for a frog in a tophat before Trump, but he is by far the better option between him and whatever lefty loon is currently leading that clownpack.

You're right, and you should be listened to in any reasonable world. Unfortunately, we live in a clown world where EVERY DAY IS MAKE NO SENSE DAY.

Ahhh, social media - giving everyone a voice, and showing at the same time not all should have one.

With me, everyone is entitled to civility, politeness and a chance to earn respect, nothing more. If you immediately demand respect, you aren't gonna get it.

It's weird at first, but it'll get real good as you start to realise your world is yours again. And now that you have it back, don't risk it on the winking mom.

Heh. I often call out when I walk in the door, "Honey! I'm home!" and then start laughing because I'm coming home to utter peace. It's been over two years now, I don't think I'll ever stop doing this.

Looks good, dude. I never really created anything while married (or in a subsequent relationship), but on my own, I've now learned to cook lots of different cuisines, make hot sauces, photoshop, play instruments, and now I build guitars. Having no impediments to learning is fantastic, I can't stop learning new things.

This. I found myself newly single at 35, having most of what I'd been building taken. Devastating at first, but I came to realise it was the beginning of the best chapter in my life. One tip for making the most of it - gather experiences, not things. I enjoy life so much more than the old me ever would have.

Completely agreed. I'm 45, and can hand on heart say I don't feel lonely, I actually love solitude. I wouldn't have loved it at 25, though. I was still conditioned to believe that you couldn't be happy alone. It took years of serving She Who Must Be Constantly Entertained And Mollified to even entertain the possibility that life could be awesome on your own. I don't know what it'll be like at 65, but signs are promising that it'll be awesome

Wow. Netflix are piling on the anti-cultural-marxism bandwagon, aren't they? I'll be cheering on this bandwagon though. Interesting to note Netflix's 180 on this, proof positive for me that corporations are only ever chasing the money and should never be taken seriously.
/r/MGTOW12/09/19 01:12 AM

That sounds refreshing....

I'm so pleased to see the world starting to push back against the cultural Marxists. I hope that in future history books, Sticks and Stones will be viewed as a kind of cultural turning point, where sensible people realised that they were sick of the SJW/feminist horseshit.

You're right, but step back and take a look. If you have a reasonably paying bottom-of-the-food-chain job, and no cash-singularity in your ear wanting more all the time, do you really need a promotion? You've likely got enough already to make you happy.

To mangle a quote, but it seems appropriate here : I will face my red pill rage. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the red pill rage has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

The "news" show that ran this "story"is A Current Affair. Think of the trashiest, most sensationalist tabloid rubbish show you can, then understand that this is Australia's equivalent of that show. But yes, the "Sweet Jesu you have no idea what personal responsibility is"-meter is redlining with this particular nincompoop.

No, it's a kit guitar.I'm proud of this because I've never been interested in doing anything other than I.T. stuff. Had never done anything handy like this before, and now I find that I enjoy (and am getting good at) putting together, setting up, and intonating guitars. Sans distraction, I am learning something new. I hope to eventually get to 100% handmade, but I'm still at the start of the journey.

If you've still got the ring, sell it for scrap gold then treat yourself to a nice steak dinner and some top-shelf drinks with the proceeds.Being a man's wedding ring, it'll not be worth all that much. Comedy option : Use the proceeds to get a hooker, and then call that hooker your ex's name the whole way through.

"Looking at this from an accounting perspective" - ok, that's where I departed from your original intention. I had other negatives in mind, eg. "Put away that stupid video game and listen to how my day went and why my life is so hard blah de blah de blah blah waffle whine bullshit here's my new interpretive victimhood routine I've been working on for the next Oppression Olympics" I missed your point a bit there, carry on.

I would say liability instead of expense. There is much more negativity than the financial negativity.

If you want to know heaven, you gotta know hell. While it sucked, being married helped me appreciate being single. I don't think I would see as much value in the absence of estrogen in my life had I not been through it.

I think you're right. Mid 40s here, and the last two years or so I have had zero interest in touching anyone. My recently-divorced-late-30s were a study in large volumes of sex. I must've got it out of my system, or age has removed all desire. Probably a combination of both. The peace and quiet is deafening :)

One of the best descriptions I've read of what I felt in the grips of what I previously thought of as my own brain's unnatural thought patterns. You have no idea what relief the above paragraph, and this sub, brings to me. Thank you. Thank you all.

I pride myself on being an easygoing guy. I believe there's plenty of room in this world, if you don't do things the way I do, no problem - I'll do it my way over here, you do it yours over there.. However, when you try try to tell me how to think and feel, that's when you can fuck off.

Smoking a lot of brisket and ribs, a few mates around, there will likely be efforts made towards fighting off dehydration. Life is pretty good.

Same here. It's been 18 months since I last got laid, and I feel like I should be alarmed about this, but I'm just *not*. It's just not on my radar any more, there's so many other things I'd rather be doing - and not one of them involves females.

I moved out, but only took what was clearly mine, and some bare essentials. Something to sit on, something to sleep on, something to eat at. All the "spare" stuff, as in "spare room bed". I loved not having all that bullshit clutter around anymore.
/r/MGTOW08/02/19 09:54 PM

Yep. You can't reason with them, you can't point out they're unfair. Accept they exist, and move on. Go Your Own Way. Only take them on if it *truly* matters to you, and realise reason is not an effective weapon in the fight.

Thoughts and experience that echo my own. Great post, man. Thankfully I've only been through marriage once, the LTR after that was enough to convince me I didn't want to try a second marriage. Cohabitation seems to just suck any joy out of the world for me. I like a saying I heard long ago - The third marriage is the triumph of optimism over experience.

Aye, life ex-plantation is fantastic. I feel like I've only been alive since then - I've done so much living I missed out on in the 11 years I spent inside. I publically celebrate the anniversaries of the divorce, I refer to them as (re)birthdays.
