Nope. Then I don't know. Maybe you shouldn't be masturbating when you're putting sunblock on her. /s

My daughter is 8. Everyone smiles at her and at me -- we're the nice Daddy/Daughter and we're out having fun. I have NO idea why anyone would treat you any differently.

WTF? The police charge the motorist (who was trying to unhook her sandal from the gas pedal) with careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act (HTA). That's not exactly the same as someone applying makeup, on the phone, eating, or screwing around on the radio. I can't see how this applies to this sub.

As far as myself I have a story similar to most of you. Thought I had found "The One" twice, and have the battle scars to prove it. In between my "true loves" I had dated a few dozen women and I learned quickly what works versus what we are told "works." Lol. So I've fucked more than triple the number of girls you've dated but I'm the "feminized beta man"? Whatever.

Yeah, she's exceptional. Here's the thing though -- so am I. I know saying that makes me sound like an utter prick but it's true. You can't get the special ones if you aren't special yourself. Then again, I'm already getting threatened with a ban by one of your mods who has repeatedly insulted me although I've been completely civil. This might be our last exchange, but feel free to PM me.

You're presuming I'm not already "high value". My wife, rightly or wrongly, thinks I'm brilliant and the most remarkable man she's ever met. I feel the same way about her. Saying that ALL marriages are poor decisions is ridiculous. You simply don't see the value. All you're doing is focusing on the negatives. But any endeavor has negatives. You get in your car, right? That's dangerous. You have sex, right? Fucking scary! Any number of horrible things can happen no matter what you do and if you l…

I completely agree that feminist dogma states that women should live for themselves and #YOLO so why not marry up? Your presumption is that all women agree with that. What if they don't? What if there are women out there who have a specific opinion on what marriage means and a shred of character to back it up? Hey, I get that people are flaky. I understand that we believe, going into a marriage, that it's forever and no one could ever take our wives away from us. I'm in that number, but remember…

See, that's just not accurate. People like to use bullshit statistics like this all the time. It has been repeated so many times that people believe it, much like the .75 cents to every dollar bullshit. There are a TON of factors that impact whether or not you'll get divorced, for one thing. For another, that statistic simply takes the number of people and the number of weddings and divides them. Except many people get married multiple times and that's not factored in. Here -- read this: http://…

I think you're projecting your own issues on to me.
/r/TheRedPill09/05/13 03:43 PM

I think we understand each other, except for one thing. When I saw "the right woman", I don't capitalize it. I don't mean there's only one, just that you need someone to complement you and the number of girls that can do that is limited. The more you require in a woman, the harder it is to find someone who has what you are looking for. All that aside, it's still much riskier to bang tons of random women than it is to get accused of child rape.
/r/TheRedPill09/05/13 02:35 PM
9

Oh god, family court is insane. Don't get me started. As far as child sexual abuse, the odds of getting accused of that are FAR less than getting accused of rape by one of the many bimbos out there. So, by your logic, you should never have sex with any girl you meet because she might accuse you of rape. But you do, because it's fun. I would argue that marriage to the right woman is of more value than casual sex. The benefits of casual sex are self-satisfaction and personal pleasure. The risks ar…

I think you mean to say the legal liabilities involved with divorce. I think people get married for all the wrong reasons anyway. They meet some girl, chemicals rush, they get all googly-eyed and think they've found their soul-mate. That's just stupid. Yeah, I love my wife and I'm "in-love" with her too, but from the day I met her, I simply appreciated her as a better / smarter / quicker / wittier human being than anyone else I'd ever met. This isn't a guy / girl thing. She's just better. Empiri…

True, it was / is. As nearly as I can tell, the issue in this sub is that the financial risk negates the positive aspects of marriage. Suppose, however, one of the benefits of marriage WAS financial? How would that change your views?
/r/TheRedPill09/05/13 01:45 PM

Nope. Plus, I didn't want to. I actually wanted to marry her.
/r/TheRedPill09/05/13 01:42 PM

Without question. That doesn't mean you should treat them as barely functioning simpletons though.
/r/TheRedPill09/05/13 01:42 PM

I agree, but also remember, the long term goal isn't (or at least shouldn't be) to just have sex with girls. That's a side-effect of being everything you're capable of being. For me, the end goal was a happy life and as it turned out, much to my surprise, that was with one girl and four kids. Who knew?
/r/TheRedPill09/05/13 12:55 PM
12

Well, your presumption is that I'm worried she'll take my money. I'm not, for many reasons, not the least of which is that everything WE have we built together. I was making good money when we met, but not saving it and now I have quite a bit. That aside, she isn't the girl who gets strung along. She's nothing like the pathetic chicks I knew my whole life. First of all, she's fucking brilliant, and I don't mean that with any exaggeration. She's probably the smartest person I know. Secondly, for …

See, this is an example of parroting dogma without thought. I never said she was a "one true love". What I said is that she was the only girl I ever met who was worth my time. Naturally, I married her. I like being married to her. However, I can't imagine that I'd be married if I hadn't met her. There just wouldn't be any point. So while it might help you develop as a man to go to extremes right now, it doesn't mean that you should live the rest of your life like that. Everything in moderation.
/r/TheRedPill09/05/13 05:52 AM

There is a middle ground, and while I understand the sentiment, you're only partially right. The part you're missing is that there are women out there who are worth your time, your effort, and your regard. The more time you spend with idiots, the less likely you are to meet them. Don't get me wrong, I did the man-whore thing and had a blast, but until I met my wife I held the same opinion you have now. Just a thought.

Ok, sitting down and trying to answer the questions that were still floating out there. I've been busy the last few days. Ok, so basically, how can I take not having sex with multiple women? It's pretty simple, actually. I used to have sex with girls because it was about winning, not the actual sex part. I used them to build up my confidence. Each girl made me feel better. Well, I don't need that anymore so getting more women doesn't have the same need. The prospect of starting some new relation…

Yeah, I think the fallacy lies in expecting guys to have to convince women to have sex with them. That's just nuts. You're SUPPOSED to fuck. It's in the genes. You just need to attract them and your looks can help, but it's more WHO you are rather than how you look.

Well, my friend's sister's friend knew of someone who was looking for an employee and told him about me. I was up in DC at the time and they guy told me he'd give me an interview the next day. I drove back to NC, got a suit, drove back up to DC and had a suit the next day for the interview. Even though I didn't have a degree, they liked that I was so motivated so they hired me. I was the go-getter and my boss couldn't believe what I did. Story 1: He asked me what percentage of the budget of US A…

How to shoot pool? There are zillions of books out there on the subject, as well as tons of youtube videos. But you have to practice. I used to shoot 3 hours a day. After that, pool bar is nothing. Shoot on an 8 foot table and get your own cue. A simple Dufferin sneaky Pete is a good start. You have to figure out what weight works for you, but I shoot with a 19 oz and a 12.5mm tip.

I'm not a big believer in self-help books. Sure you can read Covey and so on, but the only way I've found to actually change is to go out and DO things. It's like reading 2 dozen books on how to swim. Eventually you'll need to get in the pool. This doesn't mean that you should start cliff diving, but wading is a good way to start. So you take a drive to someplace cool. Eat at new restaurants. Go to new bars. Shit, take a class. Have fun doing whatever. If you want to publish a book through tradi…

Books on what subject? I love to read. I was 20 when I finally gave up my V-Card. The sad thing was I'd had chances before that but didn't do it because I wanted to "save myself for marriage". Shit... Being a preacher's son can fuck you up.

Yes. We have 11 properties. 3 in NC, 4 in AZ (although we live in one) and 4 in Ohio. The Ohio properties have been a pain, but we're working through it. Long story and I'm still pissed. This fuckwit preacher I partnered with stole 25k from me and fucked me on the houses. Three duplexes and one quad-plex. The Ohio ones are mostly rented, the NC properties are rented, and the AZ properties are mostly rented (had to evict someone)... We read dozens of books on it before we started buying them and …

Thanks man. That's cool of you to say. Overcoming fear, eh? It's easy to say, stop giving a shit about other people, but that's not realistic. Remember, people are not the seamless bastions of confidence that they seem to be. They are equally scared. I'd say the only way to get over your fear is to actively put yourself in situations where you're challenged. Do everything. The more you try, the more confident you'll be and shockingly enough, you won't be scared any more.

Hadn't thought about it, but excellence in one area can certainly translate into skill in another. Actually, I have a pretty good story about this. I was in NYC playing pool at a pretty cool bar and there was a really cute girl with an older guy. I was suited up, being chill and this guy was trying to impress the girl, badly. It was actually pretty funny. He was a director of skinimax movies and was trying to tell me about being behind the scenes at a runway show where the girls were changing. T…

I always liked to have a wingman, but I frequently went out alone. You can do that if you have something in particular you do, like shooting pool. No one cares if you're alone if you're playing a game. If you're just hanging on the bar nursing an appletini, you're probably a creep.

Sigh. I hate to tell this part... Ok. When I got a girl back and I was about to seal the deal, I'd have to show some vulnerability. That meant using some story from my past to show I was more than just an arrogant asshole. It's fucked up, but then again, it's also effective. When you're in a real relationship, it's when things develop naturally. So you don't drop the bomb immediately, you start with little things, etc.

How to act around women, how to be myself and still be attractive, how to put my best foot forward, you know, things like that. Girls have to be proud to be with you. It's just in the genes. So I had to become the guy that my wife wanted, before I even knew she existed. You know the whole "when the student is ready the teacher appears"? In a sense, but I got over it faster because I was required to. The Army throws you in so many situations and builds up your confidence so fast that I only wallowed a year or so. Success breeds success and the more frequently girls were responsive to me, the more I expected it.

There is no plan B. I'm with her until one of us dies. Then I'll probably get a string of Russian trophy brides. Just kidding. I married her because she's the right one, not just because she's hot or clever.

Dammit, I replied a long-ass wall of text and you deleted your original question. Short answer, I was a fucking recluse. I had no way of dealing with people, said the wrong thing at the wrong time, laughed when other people were sad, got mad when other people were joking, and never understood why people did what they did. I believed I was smarter than everyone else but had nothing to back it up. Other people got the girls, got the grades, got the accolades and I sat back bitterly jealous. I suck…

Yeah, that's what everyone says. IMO, the secret is in picking the right person. I could have married plenty of other women, but I married the one who was right for me and who I was right for. My failings don't make her hate me and her idiosyncrasies don't make me want to run into another woman's arms.

All girls ARE potential targets. It is what it is. The question is, a target of what? Do you want them to like you, to be your buddy, to fuck you, or to fall in love with you? That's the critical piece. Treat them as people you could be friends with and let them fuck YOU. Don't be the one who fucks them.

We are in constant contact. If I'm driving, we're probably talking on the phone. If I'm at a strip club, I'm probably texting her the funny shit that happens. If we're in a room, we're talking. She's the best friend I've ever had and the love of my life.

Watch "The Tao of Steve". Banish all desire. Be excellent in their presence. We pursue that which retreats. When a girl was super flirt with everyone I ignored her. It would drive her nuts because I wouldn't pay attention to her. Everyone else was sucking her tit, telling her how cool she was and I'd ostentatiously pay attention to her friends.

I'm pretty ripped right now. The story from this weekend is epic but I don't know if I can do it justice. It started with us meeting a dominatrix at the sex museum in Vegas and ended up with us leaving "The Green Door", passing Ron Jeremy sucking some random chick's boob. Damn, it's a good one too. I need to write it down before I forget the 2nd dominatrix who tried to fuck my wife :)

Yeah, fucked up but it is what it is. There's a book I read when I was a kid that I strongly identify with. It's called "The Stainless Steel Rat" and it's by Harry Harrison. I loved the hero. Yes. I really should write a book on how to shoot pool. I love the game and paid my rent in college shooting pool tournaments in gay bars. Until you have a good stroke, everything else suffers. You can't get consistent english, speed, or follow. So work on your stroke. If you're really serious, PM me and we can talk about how to get b…

Ah, one point of note. I didn't care if the women were beautiful. I just wanted them to be attractive. With that said, being the cool guy who was just fun to be around led to plenty more situations. See, when the fun and cool girl brings you to a party, you're already vetted. If you show up alone, you're a threat. So never discount the normal girls. They all have hot friends. Exactly! Look, as long as you are aware and paying attention, then you'll probably be ok. It's when you sit around pathetically, waiting for someone else to make your life something special that you fail. No one, and I mean NO ONE cares as much about you as you do. So don't get mad at someone for not caring about you. It's the way it is. Just kick ass and do whatever the fuck you want to do.

It was not intentional. One thing I didn't know but seems so clear now was that I was an utter dick. I'm incredibly curious and love to know about people. So I'd go to a party or bar and grill some girl until I got bored, then move on. Well, no girl wants to think that she's not interesting enough to keep talking to and although I had no idea it was happening, the girls wanted to be accepted. So they'd flirt and I'd get annoyed since I'd already learned whatever I wanted to know. They'd try hard…

Is the question why you think girls liked you but somehow it never converts? First, I guess I have to ask, What's your goal? My goal was always to have fun. Guys are their own worst enemy. They fail before they approach because they're afraid. Girls can smell fear and they know when you have given up the power position. The only reason I was successful was that I simply didn't give a fuck. If they didn't like me, well, someone else would. As far as girl attracting guys... Stop looking at this like there's an end goal. Take her someplace that's fun for YOU. Have a good time, treat her like she's a fun girl whose company you enjoy. Don't go anyplace expensive. No, but the media blows everything out of proportion. Even though crime has dramatically declined, you'd think a rapist or murderer lived on every corner. Hence the unfounded fear shown to men when they approach children. Jesus, this isn't that complicated. You'd think it were a baffling mystery by the responses in here. Want another one? W…

I shouldn't have to say that she's not playing the friend. She's specifically "playing" the guy who used all the PUA tricks on her. Every encounter you have with people doesn't have to be a meaningful and deep relationship. All this aside, you're obviously sensitive to this so I'll let it go.
/r/seduction02/08/11 08:45 PM

Who said anything about pretending? Don't project your own bad experiences on this thread. She should find one of the guy's friends, BEFRIEND HIM, and have fun with him while driving the other guy crazy. Like guys do to women.
/r/seduction02/08/11 07:37 PM

I'm not following. She's going to have fun with a guy's friend (not fall in love, keep it light and airy) so the guy who's been playing her gets played back. If you think this is cruel or mean, you're in the wrong sub.

If I were in your position (with girls instead of guys, natch), I'd pounce on one of his friends, make sure we all hung out (so he could see how much fun you're having without him), be cordial but nothing more to original guy, and nothing more. When he makes an overture, you hardcore blow him off, but nicely. "Look homie, no offense, but you had your shot." or something similar. Have fun.

Could be. My wife was talking about when she was 18 but she is hardly a common type. That's why I married her. She's the best person I have ever met. Before Tordak, I was a confirmed bachelor, never wanted kids, and saw myself as a guy who'd hang with his buddies and bang inappropriately young women. After I met her, I was done. I've seen girls I thought were pretty but since then I haven't had a single moment's interest in another woman. They simply don't measure up.

Oh, and I told my wife who laughed her ass off. Her words: "I'd have given him my number and it wouldn't have mattered what he looked like. Anyone crazy enough to wear a block of cheese to a bar would just have to be fun and I like fun people."

Yeah, this worked for me because I loved shooting pool so much. I was actually into the game, probably because I'm highly competitive and love winning. To your point about what I say vs. who I am. I'm not one dimensional. People who know me have probably read some of my stories and know I'm not just about picking up chicks because they're so stupid and I can essentially trick them into sex. The more he realizes I'm better the nicer I am. The only time I'm a dick is when someone is either fucking with me or just an asshole. Quick story: I got to my favorite bar, put up my quarters and waited about an hour to play. There were 5 or so balls on the table after the game ended and I asked the winner if he'd mind if I ran them out, just to warm up a bit. This is very common and people ask it all the time. He got loud and obnoxious and said, "Fuck that. I'm here to play pool, not to watch …

Lol. When I became good at pool the internet wasn't around. But here's a response I just sent to someone who asked much the same question on a PM. "First, work on your stroke. Don't worry about where the ball goes, worry about keeping your stroke the same every time. Buy a cheap cue. You can get a nice Dufferin sneaky pete for about 20 bucks. Get a 13mm tip, nothing smaller. Practice stroking into a Coke bottle on the table. You'll get so much better so much faster. Next, practice one type of en…

Yeah, I realized that about 4 posts in. If it's silly and works, it isn't silly... lol If I weren't married, I'd be learning magic tricks. One more thing: How many girls have you had sex with because you got their attention using magic tricks? Just curious and feel free not to answer.

Oh hell, is that where this reaction is coming from? Didn't mean to shit on your game. I see it as profoundly and fundamentally different. It's like comparing walking from California to NY vs. flying. Sure, you get the same place, both are means of travel but they are completely different. I see my way as putting up a light and letting the bugs come to me and your way as running around chasing lightning-bugs with a net. Wildly different philosophies but the end result is the same. You get bugs. …

I guess, but I've never seen anyone do magic organically in a bar. Plus, you have to actually bring the elements of the trick, whether it be a deck of cards or whatever, right? So you're interjecting an element into a situation where it doesn't belong. Next, while I've done actual trick shots outside of the context of a game, it was still organic to the situation, because the pool table already existed there. When you do a magic trick, you're approaching a specific person and getting their speci…

Oh lord. It's not the same. Running up to a girl and pulling out a magic trick to captivate her attention is one thing. Making a shot so incredibly hard look easy and having everyone react in awe is another. Sure, both will captivate and attract, but in pool, you're doing it organically. It's part of the game. It's not an affectation, it's not out-of-context, it's a reaction to the game, not something obviously done to get a girl to pay attention to you.

If you win you can extend the amount of time you have to talk to people. If you're not that good, you can still meet people and have fun, it's just harder. And yeah, confidence always wins.

I didn't have my own table growing up. When I was in the Army I just went to the dayroom, otherwise I practiced at pool halls on 8 or 9 foot tables. That way when I got to the bar and started shooting on the 7 foot tables it just seemed so much easier. And I know there are a bazillion ways to meet girls and hey, magic is cool. I just liked the whole bar/pool dynamic, mostly because I love pool and really love crushing other people at it. Plus, I paid my rent in college through shooting tournamen…

I used to bring a friend in who would pretend he was a girl and I would "demonstrate" how to shoot. He would be super coy and everyone would bust up laughing. The guy trying to stand over the girl looked like an ass.
/r/seduction11/07/11 06:23 AM

Absolutely not. I used to destroy guys who did that. I'd mock the fuck out of them for trying everything they could to touch a girl. By remaining aloof, you make yourself irresistible. I would NEVER, and I mean NEVER do that. You show them by pointing to the rail where to hit. Eyeball their line, correct it, but don't touch.

The effort comes in being good at pool. The rest just kinda happens. I have one girl I took to a bar and she said, "You mind if I go dance?" Hell no I didn't mind. A bit later she came back and said, "So, you're not jealous that I'm dancing with other guys?" "Nope. Have fun." This blew her mind and she jumped me that night. Up until that time we were just friends. I didn't put any moves on her and didn't try to show her how awesome I was. Just chilled, shot pool and got laid.

Well, I had a girl break my heart and went through a long period where I was a total flaming dick to women. By the time I came out of it and was normal again, I already knew women liked me and my patterns were established. As far as having fun, I do things to amuse myself and people tend to have fun doing what I'm doing. So if I'm bored and say, "Hey, lets go shooting at the range!" everyone goes with me to the range and we have fun. Or I might say, "Hey, let's get a limo and go get lit going fr…

You realize these are classic symptoms of depression, right? Your brain chemistry is fucked up. Quick story: So I was diagnosed with PTSD last week and they told me they were going to put me on some crazy-ass anti-depressants. This pissed me off because I'm not now nor have I ever been depressed. The psych told me that it was more about a state of hyper-alertness that was causing tension, anger, and my incredibly jumpy nature. I'm just chilling at home now working on a follow-up book so I don't mind at all, plus you seem like a good guy. One of the benefits of being older is the perspective it grants you. I love my son completely. Sure, I tell him, just like I tell my daughter and my other son and they know it, even if they're too little to fully understand. From that point of view I can tell you 100% fathers love their sons. It's just the way it is. Honestly, you sound as if you are/were depressed. Hey, it is what it…

Man, that's horrible. Another way of looking at it was that it's terrible that he died but for the rest of your life you get to see him as that awesome man who loved you to pieces. He was never disappointed in you, never sorry you didn't go a certain way in life or get that certain job, and when he went far too early, he did it while you were peacefully asleep on the back seat while he drove you home. You never told him you hated him, you never told him to go fuck himself, you didn't steal money…

Shit, sounds like the same effect from different stimulus. My dad was a preacher and since we were highly religious, I thought everyone was going to hell. Doesn't make for a happy social life, eh? Yep. Just re-wrote the entire book to be more mainstream too. I was approached by Tucker Max's and Justin Halpern's agent about it. I sent it over and he said it needed to be "bigger" plus I needed 5k in sales. Fair enough, good advice. So I centralized the themes a bit, removed most of the profanity, gave some backstory, etc. I'm F5'ing Amazon like crazy waiting for the new version to come up.

My dad is a preacher and was not helpful in this area. I've determined I'd do whatever it took to make sure my little guy has fun with women and hopefully doesn't get his heart crushed by them or crush theirs. I mean, shit happens and two people aren't always right for each other but if I can steer him away from some of the stupid things I did then he wins and I'm a good Daddy.
