As a guy that had a lot of female friends, it usually did not get me any attention. I usually did better on my own. It did however make me a lot more comfortable talking to women. And gave me an idea about how to appear more attractive to women in general.

Neither. You just make improvements and gauge their reactions.

But having active feedback from your social circle is great if you are improving your looks. As long as you have decent friends.

We both make the effort to look nice for each other. Have regular dates, spend lots of time together and lots of affection. PDA, etc. She always hands me my coffee in the morning, and me hers(we work from home on alternate days). And make out for a good minute, while standing at the door. That we have a really good sex life, even after 22 years together. And that has been steady throughout our relationship. The longest we have gone without was 6 weeks, at the birth of both our children. And she …

You do those things at the same time, sociolising is self improvement, as is the gym, as is better grooming and styling. As would be anything else. You just have to do all of those things. During the same phase. Not one after the other, that is a recipe for failing.

The only real thing that works from what I remember, is socializing a lot. which means interacting with lots of women. That will inevitably work out for you. Once you are past that age though. It is an uphill struggle. Also everyone being online doesn't help.

Correlation vs causation comes to mind. Gay men are not straight men. Them being gay might have something to do with having higher socio-sexuality.

So, I have some anecdotal experience recently, that I think I would like to share. I went away for the week to our cabin, with my wife our 2 kids, a friend (recently divorced woman) and her two boys. Some weird observation about this person. She has very strict ideas about male gender roles. Which she pushes on her sons. Like, boys don't cry or feel pain. Man up, etc. They need to carry all bags and shit at all times. Chivalry, etc. They need to be manly. While also super hypocritically expects …

The easy in between is simply taking care of the baby, baby naps. You spend some time together, you both also work together to do some chores. Baby woke up. You are both in go mode together. This obviously varies from day to day, but generally checking in with each other or just sitting together shows that you care about each other. It came naturally to us. Maybe we just got lucky.

It is possible to prioritise both. It's not hard to understand how that would work. There is time for each other, even with a baby in the house. If one is so inclined to want to use it. We did. Now our children are a bit older and are happy to see two parents who care about each other.

That's not what I said. It's more like if someone asked you who the most important person in you life is. Some say its their kids Others say their parents. Someone else says it's their partner. We always felt that partner had the top position. That made us feel like we were a team raising our kids together. It also made us want to find time for each other in between all the things we had to do as new parents. I was not relating it to practical things or the emotional needs of our children. Those…

Same goes for ugly men. We just exist for being the one that desires, not the one that does the desiring.

Remember that the women in these studies were not on hormonal birth control. Only naturally monthly cycles. So a large part of women are not affected by this anymore. It is an evolutionary trait, hence nothing concious about this. Also, these women are attracted to their men when they are in the non fertile phase of their cycle. Most of these women are still consciously choosing to remain faithful. So it doesn't mean that they automatically cheat. It still sucks for the less sexually attractive …

As a father that did get a decent amount of paternity leave by law. We go 48 weeks total. With 14 of those being mandatory for me. Which we decided I would take 18 in total . That is, the kid was about 7 months old when I got it for 4 months. Yes I did bond with my child and it definitely was a very important experience for both of us. Yet we both still consider each other our no1 priority over our kids. The kids come 2nd, but that doesn't mean we ignore their needs. Or don't prioritise them, wh…

Not sure about this, as an ugly guy that has had a fair few lays on the first time of meeting. All initiated by the woman, some of these were above average in looks. I still know that genuine sexual desire is impossible.

Dual mating strategy is not a conscious choice that women are making. It has more to do with research in which it was observed that women with sexually attractive partners felt attracted to their partners throughout their monthly cycle with an uptick in sexual attraction in their fertility window, and no change in thoughts of extra pair copulation. But when they were paired with sexually unattractive partners, their attraction for said partner went lower than baseline during their most fertile w…

I agree with the point about how it is similar to the way in which racism works. Have been noticing this for a while now. As a brown minority, have been saying this for a while. I have spent my whole life having to live with automatically applies negative assumptions about me, from before I even open my mouth. It really has affected me in a negative way know people think negatively about me before I even introduce myself. Now the same thing has been happening because I am a man. Noticed this hea…

This isn't a new problem, it's just that we don't have a place where we can send all the ugly men to rot and die, like we used to in the old days. They were called monasteries, and we made the priests and monks. Now they congregate on internet forums and complain.

It's has tilted and is going the other way. By many available metrics. If we don't arrest the slide, it will cause problems down the line. Heavily, no. It is easier to course correct now than later. I am not talking about sex. I have two daughters, but I care about boys, too.

Thanks, it's such an apt observation. Same with my work. They have started using the 1 or 2 minority employee photos in all their courses and hand books. Yet they the number of minority hires remain the same.

Unequal societies have violent revolutions that kill the upper classes and take their power. That is not just a threat, it is also an observation. A very good one, that hopefully leads to changes in order for a revolution not to actually take place.

Not saying it can't happen as it happened to me, but from how this story panned out, she seems to have secured her visa and then left him.

I am not fully sure if it's good or bad. Not made my mind up. I watched a bunch when I was young. Haven't much in years. As for Porn stars themselves, yes, as a society, they are not particularly welcome. Maybe in some circles, but usually have a hard time integrating back into normal everyday life. I would not call that famous.

I agree, but then average to slightly above average men get called ugly and unattractive all the time by women. And most of these guys are starved of compliments. When these guys get into a relationship with one of these women and observe her getting compliments all the time, he thinks that he is the ugly one in the relationship.

Yes is my answer, here is my anecdotal story of being mostly passive. I did not meet my partner from any kind of approach. Most girls that I dated, came from them approaching me in some way or another. I am not attractive, just a skinny short guy with south asian background. I mostly dated white women, because I lived in the UK. Now I am not saying that they just walked up to me and asked me out. More akin to just meeting women more organically through being social at pubs, parties, etc. But mos…

The 6 will feel lucky to be with the 7. That's what my advice was. The 8 will feel lucky to be with the 7 too, but not sexually. This isn't about wanting casual sex. But most men still want to feel sexually desired by their partner, which most women want to. Its just that a lot of men do not get to feel that genuine sexual desire from their partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/24 07:27 PM

People don't share their inner thoughts and feelings. I'm the semi attractive guy with rizz. So many women were interested in long-term relationships. Many approaches, they always wanted something serious. I met this girl, her ex cracked at me at a party early on that she was a freak between the sheets. Then, in my relationship, she was a whole different person. But her love for me was intense. Like doting on me left right and centre. Constant PDA. Super romantic. Big smiles. Lots of I love you,…

Yes, that's what I said. He wins. But he spends his life not getting the 9 treatment. Emotional attraction be damned. If he wants to feel truly desired. He needs to find a 6.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/24 01:51 PM

The difference is, she will run back to the 9 several times, while thinking. He is so boring, but keep sleeping with him. The 7 she will think, maybe, maybe not. He just isn't like the last guy. He is amazing to hang around with and the last guy was just so bland, I will give him a try. Then she will call it the best relationship ever, but never initiate sex, never give compliments and never show any sexual desire for the 7 that she fell head over heels for. And at the first sign of a fight, she…

Two equally physically attractive guys. One takes initiative and knows his way around different sex positions and what most women like in bed. Another has nearly no experience, not a great kisser, and just gets naked and does missionary. Which is more sexually attractive. Both are 19 years old. One had a girlfriend for a year prior, and the other didn't. I can see there would be a preference for the lady in question.

Is it so cut and dry though? Many men are attractive, but not necessarily very attractive. These guys will still elicit raw sexual desire from many women that want to date them. But say the guy is not very good at sex. Maybe he just hasnt had much experience. What then? Wouldnt that sexual desire start to peter out quite quickly?

Mostly my experience as well, I just wanted to be wanted. Just like the women around me wanted other men, I wanted a girl to want me in the same way.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 05:07 PM

This is where I started, and it was obviously a problem for me. I am only 5'7 and was quite skinny. So being bullied in school and abusive father/controlling mother did not help. I would even from time to time have girls approach and try to start conversations and I would freeze and not know what to say. So what did I end up doing. Well, I just hung around constantly with other people in groups. Slowly picking up on how people talked, finding some basic stuff to talk about which got people inter…

Or more accurately, do you find me physically attractive. With all the women that claim not finding their partners physically attractive and only after falling in love. I think most men have the right to know this from the outset. As usually it is an expectation that we all have when in the dating phase of a relationship.

Could you view some as more attractive if the sex is good and less attractive if the sex is bad? Point 1 and 2?

My youngest daughter is weaker than my oldest. But can beat the crap out of the oldest. Because the oldest has no idea how to use her strength. Pure strength is not what wins out, some people are mentally more capable of bringing everything to bare.

Every time a woman finds out that her partner is not that physically/sexually attracted to her and doesn't see her as hot, she cries and tons of people tell her to break up, because she deserves to be seen as hot and attractive to her partner. Whenever a man complains that his partner does not find him hot or attractive, or is not really sexually attracted to him. He gets told that he is not some male model that she would find him attractive, and that he should just be happy that she loves and c…

No, be honest to your partners, so that they what kind of relationship they are in. If you are only attracted to a persons personality, tell them. It is usually implied that we are physically attracted to the partners we date. When that is not the case, people intuitively know that they are keeping a secret from their partner. They have a right to know a key factor in their relationship. If they accept, fine. If they don't, then you did the right thing and didn't build the relationship on dishon…

I was somebodies type and also the least attractive partner she had ever had. Yet her most good looking partner was not her type. She also said she was the least physically attracted to me when we first met. They whole type thing is just bullshit.

This goes both ways and should not be specific to only men. Women are just virtue signalling when they claim versatility in attraction. Nobody asks these womens partners how desired their partner feels, when they claim his personality is what makes him attractive to them. Romantic and physical attraction are two very different things, even for most women.
