People have open relationships. (Like Throwaway). People cheat. Life goes on. If they're gonna cheat, why shouldn't it be you?

Are you asking for help or advice? Or are you just asking for people to flirt with? If the latter, not this sub.

I exchange pleasantries, while the Japanese beta-boy (JBB) gets outwardly jealous. Ha! I inadvertently did the same to some people in a poutine shop last night, just complete disregard for the two. Didn't even realize it until they stormed out getting mad about being out-valued by a university student. (Essentially what they said as they were leaving) Anyways, looking forward to the read. Cheers

I don't think this community tries to preach faking who you are past the whole confidence "fake it til you make it" bit. Personally, I know I might use this as entertainment for a night but not something to commit to. It's just not genuine.

I try this, but I find if I don't get hooked to the conversation (find something different/unique/interesting) it becomes difficult to remember versus the other names I learn in the time.

Problem: I've noticed that since I have a very unique first name in my area, and I'm fairly sociable that there are so many people that remember my name whereas I do not remember theirs. Besides nicknames (I can't give every single person a nickname), what are methods that you use to remember a persons name?

Just fucking own it. "You're right I'm not 20. I'm secretly a 15 year old spy from ____ but don't blow my cover, I'm tailing that person right there."

As I am confident in myself, I will be confident in my responses. I do not sit there and try thinking of the "perfect" response to a situation, I merely converse.

Really? You're blaming porn for your own lack of self control and poor decision making? That's not how problems and issues are resolved.

girls don't buy drinks for me Really? Am I in some weird universe where this happens then? I normally spin this into having the girl buy me drinks. Well see there ya go. I feel the whole premise is flawed. It should be "Never buy a person a drink unless warranted." There are reasons and situations for drink purchasing, and it is up to you as an individual to figure it out.

Texting conversations suck. When you want to start one, use a hook from a previous interaction. Something that just you two (or maybe a few others) will understand the reference to. Something like a nickname, or a joke about an event you both witnessed/interacted in. Then transition to in person meetings, or better yet: Call them up and set up an in person meeting. Calling makes you different from the rest of men who just text. Also, I feel a lot of people didn't read the post and are just respo…

I sent an email to Tofu, but I suspect he will respond here (unless Mods close this thread, which they probably should). So far as I can tell, it violated no rules. Kickstarter just has no spine.

"Of course, but you grab it for us. Waters on the house." (Assuming water is free in the venue) Also, I really dislike people that ask me to buy them drinks. I would eject immediately. Extremely value-taking behaviour (unless they're tone suggests they're joking of course).

As a note, I wouldn't recommend going down on her on the first time unless you've had a discussion earlier in the date about being std clear. Also one of my cheats as an Indian: Kama Sutra. Some positions are weird but its fun as hell trying them.

My roommate would break out his flow wig and cowboy when we go to country bars just for shits and giggles. It's a hassle to wear, but everybody loves it and wants to see if it's real. Can't say I really do any hat peacocking at the bars, but that's mainly because I fucking love my hair.

Growing up I was always a part of hockey teams, and was friends with some top players. If I am going to AMOG a group I'll do it just like I'm hanging with those friends. Little elbows to the body, taps on the arm, referring to them as buddy or pal, etc.

From memory the only time I can remember saying someone looked like somebody or something is when I'm teasing them. And I'm still going to do it because it entertains me. If I'm not having fun, how can I expect the people I interact with to have fun either?

Plan and lead events with your friends. Bring new groups of friends together. If you guys are ribbing each other and you want to take the wind from their sails you can either agree and amplify as noted before, or just look them in the eye, say "Yupp" and continue on like normal because it doesn't affect you.

I also tend to laugh at pretty much anything. Hey, if you find stuff genuinely funny you shouldn't stop laughing. If your best self finds this stuff funny, then embrace it. I have no advice for laughter in awkward situations though as I have never experienced it.

Did stuff that was interesting to me, and would better myself. Kept working out, played more intramural sports, took dance classes, grew a kick-ass goatee etc. Losing the weight I had gained needlessly probably helped the most.

Dance classes offered by my university, brushing up on literature, seriously focusing on my future and getting a co-op position at a very important tech firm in my area. Just stuff that I had always wanted to try to do but didn't for one reason or another. Comin up on a year from then actually. Oh and I lost all the weight I had gained during that relationship.

19, Was dumped right before my birthday (over Skype too lmao). Realized I was 30lbs heavier than I had been all of high school. Realized I had just been drifting through my days not really living them.

Hmmm.... Music (pop punk/electronic/hip hop), movies, television shows(breaking bad/suits/game of thrones/walking dead/the league), sports(play hockey, watch football/hockey), and read (doesn't matter what, I'm reading anything I find interesting from finance books to fiction series). But it's not to make myself a more desirable man. I feel that's more of a consequence of my behaviours. I'm doing this for myself.

I like to think of it this way. When you go to a movie what senses can you work with? Sense of touch (barely) that's about it. Otherwise you're fighting with the movie for sight, sound and emotion. Why would you inadvertently want to disadvantage yourself?

Shit, I have a whole list of things I plan to do if I get something like that. Travel the Amazon Visit the Pyramids (Was fucking obsessed with Egyptian history as a kid) Scuba/Snorkel in the Great Barrier Reef Visit the Taj Mahal Visit Machu Picchu Party in North Korea (No idea how I can make this happen yet) Rome (Pantheon, Colosseum, etc.) Those are some of the non-time dependent ones.

@TofuTofu How does it feel to have been featured on r/bestof for analyzing the social dynamics of Japanese youth and subsequently having it deleted? Just kidding. Actually was wondering if any sedditors have posts analyzing the different social dynamics of different cultures they've visited. If I have to study I may as well learn something interesting too.

While I'm calling I'm able to change the pitch of my voice and use tone to get a message across. The interaction is brief and gets the business over with. Whereas with texting I'm able to do so at my own leisure, and it allows me to think of my response. It is also a lot easier to send a mass message or question over text than it is to call up each individual I wish to talk to. I like both. Both's good.

Ah. I only see it as lying if you're being dishonest in a material way. I mean, a personal favourite of mine is telling people I'm a superhero. Obviously I'm not, and the info that I gave them doesn't help or harm them in any meaningful way.

You know what? Do go out and make new, additional friends. But you do not need to be secretive about it. When you're on your deathbed all you'll have are your experiences. So go out and make them worth remembering brother.

It's in your head dude. There are women of all types who won't date or hookup with a specific ethnicity, but are you really losing out? I know I wouldn't want someone that judgmental in my life.

While most of this post is good, I disagree with this point. PS. if you are "faking" confidence, you are doing it wrong. I was a slouching fool who was having troubles maintaining eye contact in key situations. Which was strange because I actually enjoyed public speaking. Upon reading seddit I found videos and articles on power and posture and confidence. It really was a fake it til you make it for me. After a short period of time of adjusting my posture so my shoulders were back, and consciousl…

I asked why you don't think a community would be necessary in general I said area specific might be warranted because of cultural norms and attitudes that change depending on geographical locations. If you're talking about tendencies for "FOBs" that don't transfer to Western Civilization, than you should be creating a more general subreddit about Western behaviors for seduction (i.e. can include Orientals/Africans). If when I go out, the first thing a girl mentions is something relating to my et…

I am mixed, but if you saw me you would assume Indian. My father was born and raised in India, and his immediate family was always within minutes of me growing up. Never been a problem, except with men boys who would project their insecurity using racism.

By trying to horde this subreddit, that's a very anti-value giving stance in my opinion. What do you stand to gain by being the only one reading this material? What do you lose by not being the only one reading this material? As far as I'm concerned this stuff is applicable to every facet of life and I'm not being a good friend if I don't pass along useful information.

By Desi you mean South Asian by ethnicity or by birth? Because for the first, I see no reason for it; the second may be more useful by creating a lair for a specific South Asian area. If someone wanted to analyze the social castes in India and its effect on pick up I would be interested in that read.
