I don’t know why none of the comments are factoring in STDs and birth control. Even the guys that can pull a new girl every weekend aren’t always going to do that because it’s a hassle. When you find a girl that you don’t have to use a condom with and cross your fingers you don’t catch herpes, you tend to stay with that.

So being fun means you’re bad at relationships?

So, are you saying the “fun-having” girls in this post were bad at relationships due to their high body count? Because that sounds like Michael’s point.

Increasing your number of intimate partners reduces marital happiness. Maybe conservatives just want stable happy long term relationships for raising kids more than the current sexual zeitgeist does? You can make fun of this Michael incel (if real) or his religious beliefs, but the data is still incontrovertible.

I hope it works out for all involved.

If you don’t even like the word “submissive” then you’re not going to attract a high value man that understands his role. Life is short; you don’t have time to renegotiate every single social and relational contract for your perceived optimal happiness. Odds are your personal wisdom gathered over decades doesn’t outweigh the ages. Men lead while women support and follow that lead. Date until you find a man that you can approve of his leadership style. Life is on easy mode for both of you at that…

Birth control over the last ~50 years means women can control whose genes they want to pass on like at no other point in history. The drop in testosterone can be explained by the undesirability of having the babies of high testosterone men who are aggressive, antisocial, etc. This theory does not fit the data well. "The research, conducted on 5,000 Danish men by the Rigshospitalet Clinic, shows that those born in the 1960s have on average 14 percent lower testosterone levels than males from the …

Did you read the conclusion section of your own article? Conclusions: These results indicate that recent years have seen a substantial, and as yet unrecognized, age-independent population-level decrease in T in American men, potentially attributable to birth cohort differences or to health or environmental effects not captured in observed data. You don't have to wait for a randomized control trial to look at the environmental changes that haven't been deeply studied yet to draw some satisfactory…

Cupid’s arrows are indiscriminate. Millionaires fall in love with waitresses. Beautiful women fall in love with unattractive men. The point of identifying objective markers helps you defend against the emotions that can cause you to get into a poorly matched relationship. Inevitably, the way you feel in the beginning will wear off and you’re left with those objective status markers.

I’m not having any problems dating women that are waiting until marriage and understand coquetry and romance. Thanks for the concern, though.

Women get to pick sexual novelty or vetting and committing to a lifelong partner. This is totally consistent from men’s perspective. Men want to marry virgins.

I think TRP at its core reveals something that we lost in our civilized culture. Essentially, there were two ways that men got their genes into the future: 1) provided and mate guarded successfully; and/or 2) cucked a provider. Women get their genes out there automatically, so it would make sense that they are motivated to get the best contribution. TRP teaches a lot of men (that have usually just been cheated on) that women are designed this way and you need to be on the lookout for it. Also, t…

Long term relationships lower testosterone in men by 21% and, on average, men gain 22 pounds their first year of marriage. There are hormonal shifts that cause even stereotypical "alpha" men to become more "beta" in a steady relationship. It is very challenging to overcome this and it has to be habitual because your hormones are actively working against you. Men that actually have their lives together before a relationship, feel a drag on their masculinity overall. Some guys are "betas" to begin…

This is true. However, not everything is exactly uniformly equal between the sexes. The issue here stems from the concept that the woman always knows the child is hers and the man did not have that certainty until modern testing. There are biological drivers at play in men's concern that they are satisfying their partners more than their partner's exes.

We're trying to quantify something highly subjective and individual here. There really isn't much of an agreed upon definition of virginity now anyway. Historically, in the western world it was most commonly a phallic perforation of the hymen (assumedly heterosexual). So many of these definitions are practically useless now. I think you could make a distinction between loss of innocence (Freud says no memory of another lover), and the physical changes associated with a female's first intercourse…

Stick to your guns on this then. Other people aren't wired like you are and won't be the one in your romantic relationship. You'll likely find someone much the same way that you are. It's not cultural and you shouldn't feel guilty about it. Best of luck!

I would read this short bit from Freud: http://users.clas.ufl.edu/burt/deathsentences/freudtaboo.pdf Also, Lacan on the concept of jouissance in the context of a virgin's first (typically negative) sexual interaction versus a competent lover later in life. Interesting ideas related to your topic here and more recent than Freud. To answer your question, though. Yes, it really is about virginity for I'm guessing roughly 10% of men. I've seen some very unscientific surveys that bear out this one in…

Have you guys ever taken the Big Five assessment? Do you know if you are high in Conscientiousness? I think this response is associated with that metric.

I can't respond for Red Pillers, but it is not a turnoff. In fact, virginity is the single most attractive attribute a woman can possess for a significant portion of the heterosexual male population. There are a ton of reasons for this, but the main one is that men that are high in Big Five Conscientiousness are actively repulsed by the idea that someone they love has been with another person. This is not an incel response, a jealousy response, or anything like that. This is the way these indivi…

The goal of feminism was and is virtuous: to improve women's status in society to equal with men. There have just been innumerable unforeseeable changes to relationships because of these efforts. The main change that is ultimately the nail in the nuclear family coffin is that women can provide for themselves which was always the man's role. I'm not sure anyone truly comprehends all of the ripple effects of this change yet. To name a few that we know about: women are less attracted to men that do…

Women are actively decreasing what they’re bringing to the table in terms of what men actually want from them.
