Yep. I discuss it with a number of guys at the church that I'm close with, but they never actually follow through with any of the advice I give. I haven't jacked off in 7 months or more and I've never really had a problem with p***. They keep struggling and I keep telling him what they need to do.

Actively and intentionally discipling others makes this infinitely more easy. I happened to be the only guy out of my bro group that's actually discipling others and after talking with some other guys that have successfully conquered pmo I've come to the solid conclusion that discipling is the way to conquer it.

1st) Are you only bench pressing? If so, there is your first problem. 2nd) start joining some college age youth groups we're going to multiple services. And when you do, make it a point to meet for new people and start a conversation with them. Shoot for people that look like you would want to hang out with. You can also shoot for people that look like you don't want to hang out with them, but I know I hang out with regularly influence me and I want to be careful about the influences I let in my…

When you dig into history and statistics this becomes blatantly apparent that women being given power is always a bad thing for the health of cultures and countries. Stefan Molyneux talks about this in one of his YT vids that was linked from the TRP epic post "Redpill Antibiotic Nuke." Have my upvote😁 *Also, there is no biblical evidence for the "Lilith" argument. Unless we are including texts that didn't make the cut. - careful, that's a slippery road. She is likely only letting you disciple her because she likes you. From your post I would say without a doubt she has demonstrated massive indicators of Interest. Be upfront, initiating meet up and tell her the discipleship isn't going to work out because you are feeling attracted to her, but don't want to be anything more than friends. If it all possible, get her in touch with another person, hopefully a lady, that can disciple her. If you know of any ladies that could disciple her than have th…

Your observations are correct. u/Deep_Strength 's book is just out and is a great resource. The side barde is also amazing. Some of the posts may seem a little bit long, but in reality they only take at most 15 minutes to read if you're a slow reader like myself. I read about a post today and sometimes too because some of the sidebar posts are fairly short and it only took me maybe a couple weeks to read the whole sidebar

First off: What exactly do you want out of this relationship with her? I guessing she is super confused. You've written a whole post about this and I can't even tell what you want. That said, there is something that most (if not all) the commentors missed. ->A man properly leading his wife will be discipling her. THAT IS HIS ROLE. Eph 5:22-33 goes into great detail about this. There is no switch that is flipped once you're married. It should be a gradual process. Your framework should be: If…

I see you have been listening to a lot the the Red Man Group. A lot of what you said is well and good, but lacking a focus on God's mission for Christians and how that framework plays into this situation. Giving instruction is good, but without the framework it's only a band-aid for the situation and not a long term solution.

Ha you sound exactly like me about seven years ago. You're judging a book by it's cover my friends. Not all churches are crap, even if some of them do have it wrong. If you're anything like me, you have only had bad experiences or at best neutral experiences of people in the church and people in the world. Essentially, your perception of reality is skewed, which you accurately described. Either way, the solution is to go socialize more. But, specifically with people that will positively impact y…

Discretionary cash is a good idea. And the parent-child dynamic doesn't have to be weird. It's only weird if you make it weird, so if you think it's weird or give off an uneasy vibe it's going to make her feel that way. A woman is a reflection of her husband. You should have used agree and amplify or if you had the mindset of Amused Mastery you could have said something witty that would have let her know that the dynamic is okay and even amusing. Not something to worry about. Rollo tomassi talks…

Boom! Hahaha I can't even think of rare examples so looks like jacking off might be off the table. Not really that big of a deal for me though since I have a really hard time telling other guys I disciple to jack off like me as I become like Christ (at least while I don't have a wife). It seems pretty incongruent lol.

Couldn't God have created the male body so that sexual stimulation could only occur through pheromones, which would require a woman's physical presence? Or that ejaculation is only possible through chemicals found in a female vagina? Isn't it at all telling that God didn't create the world this way? Yep and hmmm... Almost a stumper lol. In fact the more I think about it the more metaphysical it gets. I keep thinking of that verse where if we don't glorify him then even the rocks will cry out or …

Shoot...haven't given many of those thought. Another thing to consider is: Did God in the OT take pleasure in a like manner in His people (since we did not have the one flesh relationship with Him) as Christ does with us? I don't have a quick answer for this, but my gut says yes. Also, I've heard it said that sexual pleasure is meant to be enjoyed with in the context of a physical relationship with your wife. So if you're not physically with your wife then it would be sin for you to jack off. Th…

It's going to take a long time before she starts recognizing that you are a leader by your actions. You will avoid a lot of struggles and probably heartache as well if he just do this thing on your own. Once she recognizes you as a leader She is welcome to join you and your mission.

She was designed to be a helper. How much would it suck be to be a wife in a marriage where your husband never asked you for help? You literally could never do your job. You could never feel fulfilled or satisfied. At best, you could guess at what would be helpful to your husband, but never actually know. That would be depressing. It's so ironic how the Bible says this very plainly, but I never really thought of it like that until I read this. You have a way with words my friend!

At first glance, this seems counter-intuitive to the Christian because we are called to become the "servant of all," just as Christ was, and to serve Christ's agenda after sacrificing our own, right? But if Christ is in us and we are transformed into the likeness of Christ, then Christ's agenda IS our agenda. Seeking our own good, if our desires are completely aligned with Christ's, is the same as seeking Christ's good because our purposes and what satisfies us and makes us happiest in life are …

Good post overall. Here are my critiques: Betas not only live hell in this life, they often go to hell too Yes, if those Christian betas worship and serve the creature rather than the Creator. God should be our treasure--> For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matt 6:21 Courage and fearlessness with godliness is a sign of the spiritual fruits of a man. I think we need to be more aggressive when calling out the blue. I was thinking about this while reading the post you linked about Christianity and the purple pill. Before fully committing to answering a question on here I think I'm going to preface my answer with a question so as to tailor my response. On the second point I'm guessing you missed the context. That phrase is so often used and there is no longer any practical meaning behind it anymore due to feminism seeping into the Church. That is what he was saying.

If we let this place turn into yet another cupcakes and rainbow factory where men, who are struggling in their marriage to the point of divorce, are given empty platitudes ("just seek the kingdom!", "All you need is Jesus!" etc etc) then it will have fundamentally failed and people will stop coming here. Rollo tomassi talks about this. Men today are raised by women and they are not taught how to deal with the challenges that harsh reality present. That is why men that have been raised with a father figure in their life do way better socio-economically then do boys who have been raised by women. That's why the red pill exists. Men of come together and have figured out that guys need to be challenged and need to be taught how to handle challenges. That is why men are harsh with each other and also…

Personally, I really enjoy the "harshness" that one finds when in the secular TRP and MRP subs. I think at times I find myself steering away from being harsh and I don't realize it. I think that is due to being influence by sissy Christians/Christian theology and it's not congruent with how I perceive myself. It's a good reminder and I think it was needed for myself as well as others. Good word broski!

Yo! Everybody! Why the freaking downvotes?! This is a very thorough FR and although OP has some growing points, this post does not deserve so many downvotes. Downvoting FR like this will only discourage other guys from posting their FR's and IDK if you all have noticed, but this sub CLEARLY lacks the vital role of FR's. FR's are how we freaking learn form other's mistakes.

As someone who has also been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD and been on medication I can also attest to the awesome benefits of the meds for it, but there is a downside and I have found that after years of being off the medication and constantly working on being more disciplined, the meds are a crutch. @ least for me:)

Better some field reports than none. I think you articulate your thoughts pretty well. Glad to see that you're not medicating your add. Majority of the cases of ADD are just and indoctrination of feminism telling men that they have something wrong with them because they are not more well behaved like WOMEN. Sounds like you're struggling with the way you think things should be vs the way they are. RPC describes reality which also, as a byproduct, happens to be an antidote to sinful culture a.k.a TBP. I don't blame you for thinking this since culture has indoctrinated everybody, especially when you talk about the lack of fellowship most guys should be getting. The acronym PRAY is a great way for people who struggle with not knowing how to pray. P stands for praise, so you enter prayer with thanksgiving and thanking the Lord for everything you want to thank him for in your life. R stands for repent, so repent for what sins you can think of and I also include asking the Lord to bring to light any unconscious sins that I might not know. A stands for ask. SOME traditional churches probably hold a closer grip on biblical teachings pertaining to gender roles than do most churches. I would also guess that the pastor not only teaches proper generals but also models at for his church. Essentially, feminism has not crept as far into a select FEW churches than it has in 99% of other churches in America. There's also another phenomenon where women tithe more than men in the church whether they are in a marriage or not. Part of this has to do with feminis…

Been in the manosphere for 5ish years. There are NO Christian RP books in existence (THAT accurately represent scripture). Fitness tests are hardwired in a woman's DNA. The use it to determine the strength of a man's frame for a few different reasons at the very least. They do this to determine if the man is going to be a good fit for her, they do this to determine that she made the right in a mate, they do this to remind themselves they picked the right mate unless he fails and then it reinforces she picked the wrong mate, they do this to determine if you are a man who will stand up to her because if you will stand…

Your experience sounds pretty unique. Most guys, myself included, and others I've talked to you comma I've had wet dreams before becoming Christian and they continued after becoming a Christian. Everybody is talking about the damage feminism is doing and how to protect yourself, but nobody is thinking how this will affect future generations. Men's passivity is only allowing the destruction of our nation. God has called us to the Ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18), so as Christian men we should be seeking to reconcile the state of our nat…

Time for a revolution. It's time for guys to start coordinating their efforts in the manosphere OR things are just going to get worse and worse. That's something that's been on my mind. I'll be working towards that goal of coordinating a "revolution" so to speak here in the next year.

Where can I read up on this? >Memorized John 15:2 recently. >>That's a good reference too! Recognize that this is all part of Jesus' communion speech (specifically John 13-17) and it'll blow your mind about what Jesus meant when he instituted communion, as compared with the mass-productionalized way we do i…

Paul says in Philippians 3, "All of us who are mature should take such a view of things and if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. Only live up to what we have already attained. Join with others in following my example, brothers, and take note of those who live according to the pattern we gave you." This is, of course, disciplesihp - modeling one's own life for others to follow in. And Paul says that this is the mark of a spiritually mature man. It's crazy t…

At 35, I’m already on a second marriage with 4 unplanned kids from the first wife, while she was ‘on birth control’ and I was abstaining. I was with her four times over six years (twice while being woken from a sound sleep at about 3am after a 14 hour work day) and got my three younger ones out of it. After divorce she gave me an ultimatum to ‘clean out Our storage unit or she was letting it go to collections.. so like a good little ex-husband I cleaned it out. Boy, did I find a collection of cr…

Good luck. There isn't much for RP sermons out there. Your best bets are probably the audio books "The abolition of man" and "The return of Adam." I haven't heard them yet, but they were recommended to me by a pastor I like. If anybody in the community has read them and have an opinion on them or would be helpful. In terms of pastors, John Piper, John MacArthur and Matt Heverly are fairly good. I wouldn't say they are RPd, but they are the closest to it that I have personally heard at least in t…

Hooking up usually means sex. But if it's just making out I would not consider that a sin. That said, it's not wise. Your motives are to see how close to the line of sin you can get without it being sin. Rather, your motives should be how close can you draw to God (and as a byproduct, away from sin). Proverbs 16:2 says, "All a man's ways seem innocent to him, but motives are weighed by the Lord." If you haven't already, you should be pursuing God through your God-given mission, which should incl…

I agree 100%. I do really like the appeal the how TRP basically has the attitude of shut up n buck up. I do wonder if this is the most effective approach though. How to Win Friends and Influence People comes to mind. I'm definitely not for taking scriptures away to any degree though.

There is some validity to this, but you really should have put some evidence up with this post because without it it really makes you seem like a troll. Very insightful. Based on the fall of Adam and Eve and the fact that the woman was deceived by Adam chose to sin, the rise of third and fourth wave feminism and it's attack on masculinity is not woman's fault but man's. Those are definitely going to be some hurdles to overcome, but it is possible. I am self-employed and I'm planning on continuing to do so. So no worries about my job. At least that I can think of. The Word is clear that the man is the head of the household but the very next verse says he is to honor and consult his wife. Umm... What translation are you using? I've read the Bible multiple times and I have never found a section of scripture ANYWHERE that says you should consult your wife. It would be wise to ask her for her thoughts on certain things since she might have some wisdom or knowledge that you don't, but nowhere does it say to consult your wife. Correct me if I'm wrong.

So what you're saying then is that if somebody has preferences based on minimizing risk to their future marriage that that is not parallel to the gospel and is anti Grace?
