Actually, I kind of like that as a metaphor for the degree to which these people live and breathe their dogmatic ideologies to the core. It's like "drinking the Kool-Aid," but much more applicable to extremists.

Another 17 reporting in. I've only discussed anything MRM related with one friend of mine who is particularly open-minded, and she seemed to take to all of it very well. I wouldn't try with most of my acquaintances though. Extreme Feminism seems to be prevalent in our age group already.

I love martial arts, and I'm skilled at a couple of them. That said, I love being able to mess around with my buddies by taking them down by surprise, and then having them react with "Dude that was awesome, show me how to do that shit" instead of "What the hell man, don't be a dick!" No one's ever really mad at each other for any extended period of time, no one minds getting thrown around a bit. It doesn't mess up the brotherhood.
