Agreed. Don’t sign anything you can’t live with. Pay another lawyer to view the tentative settlement. Will that lawyer try to get you contest it? Likely. My ex-wife pressured me to sign a bad deal. I got a lawyer to look over it. The lawyer said I could clearly do better. My county/state requires mediation first before you go before a judge, so we were able to get the settlement that was similar to what I would have received from the judge. It kept down costs and worse feelings.

Yep. A $60-80 Andis clipper and trimmer set will do the trick. I’ve been cutting my hair for 3.5 years. I cut my hair more than once a month, so that’s at least $20 a month times 12 months= $240 a year.

The things you mention are real. In my marriage, we received a piggy bank for a wedding present. On the top, it had a small piggy labeled “His Money,” but it had a hole at the bottom of it which fed into a much larger bank labeled “Her Money.” This little piggy had “an accident.” One of the biggest fights I had with my wife (now ex) was when her and her mother tried to put me on an allowance like her dad and brother-in-law had. Her mom would give him “spending money” for lunch and toys - which w…

Some guys learned about it during marriage. What can’t be cured must be endured... until you can’t and then the divorce.

I was told there was no one else either. But the text records, FB messages, strange expenses, work excuses, and my own intuition told me otherwise. I wanted that shit melted down. I sent it to a mail away gold smelter. A ring I spent $510 on in 2006 got $42 in 2019. Could I have gotten better or saved it as some type of reminder? Sure, but I wanted it gone.

The alphabeters don’t procreate; they recruit. The conversion and seduction of loners, the impressionable, and the insecure happens because it gives them purpose, community, attention, and a form of sexual gratification - albeit a life that historically has been considered deviant and destructive to all involved. This dude did his brother a solid. My own brother had a similar story. He was a fat dork in high school that had no success with girls, so he started looking into the alphabet community…

I learned about MGTOW after being married around a decade and having two kids. It was pretty brutal, but it explained a lot. I had no idea how much of a blue pill, beta-bitch, simpin’ nice guy I was. Sandman and Sunrise Hoodie were big helps. There wasn’t any love there, but for the sake of my kids, duty, and religious commitment, I decided it was cheaper to keep her. I just tried to make the best of it. We still had a dead bedroom (less than once a month), we still were sleeping in separate roo…

He can simp forever and find a coping mechanism, he’ll fall apart, she’ll destroy it, or he’ll get divorced. As far as I can tell, there are no other alternatives once the marriage occurs and the child arrives. I’ve been trapped by religion before. It’s pretty damn sad when you pray for God to take her, take you, or let her just cheat on you so you have a religious justification to divorce her, but this is what goes on in the mind of someone conditioned to follow a faith.

I was AWM (awakened while married) a few years back. I vacillated between the the red pill rage and bargaining. When I realized I was a blue pill simp my whole life and a utilitarian door mat, I went into a dark place mentally. I started consuming MGTOW content and trying to figure things out. However, I worked through it and decided to stick with the status quo because it was cheaper to keep her, and I wanted to be there for my kids. Perhaps that’s where a lot of the “married MGTOW” guys are? T…

That’s great, sir. But will you be moving her to the West? A lot of women that move from cultures and societies that have strong values and or are patriarchal often lose those values upon entering the West where those values are crushed out by incentivizing divorce and through feminism everywhere like the media and politics. For instance, there are strong, autonomous religious and cultural sects in America that rarely divorce. The Amish are a tight knit society, and they stay married, but the re…

If you insist on getting married, I wonder if your dad can put the house in a trust for you. Maybe that will protect it. Prenups are mostly paper shields and pretty much useless after a decade. There’s still a risk of divorce attorneys, alimony, and child support; those are real threats at 50% of marriages ending in divorce.

You can’t guarantee your kids turning out well or loving you, especially if your wife divorces you (50%) and she and the court alienates you from them. I am in the middle of divorce, and this is my fear because my county judges usually go for maternal custody and visits with dad. I visited my parents this past weekend. My grandma is slowly fading away while they take care of her. It is unpleasant for everyone, but it is also loving and kind. She fell in the middle of the night; I’m glad I was th…

I bought an Andis clipper and t-trimmer combo set on Amazon 2.5 years ago for $60. I went to Walmart or Sally’s and bought a large hand mirror and sheers for less than $20. I used to get a haircut once a month for about $20; that’s $240 a year or $600 - $80 cost equals a savings of over $520. I have only messed up badly twice, once where I kept it and let it grow out and the other time when I buzzed it all off. I have good hair, though premature graying, so I don’t like shaving it all off becaus…

The Gospel of Thomas is apocryphal and not recognized by any of the major or even minor sects of Christianity as canon. However, it is interesting. There are some that interpret Jesus’s words in Matthew 23:30 in a relevant way: “For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.” The context is the Sadducees (the skeptical Jews who took the scriptures as wisdom, philosophy, and myth) give Jesus a ridiculous, hypothetical theological que…

The Matrix trilogy is on Netflix right now. When the original movie came out in theaters, I was 15 years old; I think I saw that and the Phantom Menace like a half dozen times that year at the move theatre. I rewatched 1 and 2 last night. The first one is still amazing today. Reloaded has its moments, but it has its fight scenes and dance scenes that go for far too long. However, Reloaded made me pine a little bit for love again. I miss caring for someone deeply and having it be reciprocated, bu…

I can’t like this comment hard enough! I have seen this so many times - and certainly with my soon-to-be ex-wife. A young man getting going in his career can’t compete financially with a woman’s father (and sometimes mother) who has been working for decades. She’ll gladly take daddy’s money, ex-husband’s alimony and CS, and anything else she can qualify for from Uncle Sam. It’s been said before: a man is always competing with the divorced version of himself. If she can get your money and stuff w…

The housing and cost of living is very affordable if you can find a decent paying job. The Alabama job market mostly sucks and won’t pay as well, but there are professions that work well here. I am an educator, so I have great health insurance which helps with child support. My relatively low national salary goes much further here than other states. As a Yankee, I hated it at first. However, spending time in Georgia before coming here helped make it palatable. I enjoy it now. Polite, peaceful, h…

This is what I fear for my daughter. She’s 4.5 years old, but her mother and grandmother promote this freedom - the freedom to ruin yourself at a young age. They totally underestimate the power of unfiltered, uncontrolled, and unmonitored constant access to smart phones and the internet. They gave one to my son at a young age, and he’s mostly ruined now.

I considered confronting the dude, but, honestly, the dude did me a solid. I finally had grounds in my heart and mind to divorce her. I was simping doing the cheaper-to-keeper route because of the two kids, but I couldn’t be a cuck. That ended it for me.

I am separated and going through divorce now. I was awakened while married (AWM) a few years back. I went through the red pill rage, but I mostly went back to simping because I thought it was cheaper to keep her; our two kids were the biggest factor. Then things got worse, and it looked like she was cheating or working towards it. I couldn’t handle being an ATM, doormat, and a utility in addition to winding up a cuck. That was the last straw. Now, I’m out on my own trying to work through this ha…

Billy Graham (nowadays Mike Pence) Rule: Never get behind closed doors alone with a woman that isn’t your wife, mother, sister, or daughter. MGTOW Additional Rule: Don’t get married. In other words, avoid being alone in an elevator with a woman. Step out and pop back in, or take the stairs; it will do you some good, and the land whales avoid ‘em.

I was raised in the Church of the Nazarene as well. Like most modern Evangelical men, we were raised to be white knight, beta cucks. Do right, Be polite, be friendly, love, be forgiving, put others before your self, be guilty for any sexuality you pursue outside of marriage, sacrifice your desires for the wife and kids, and be a servant leader. Discovering the true nature of women has hurt my faith, even though the Bible is full of red pills; however, no modern preacher will give them to you bec…

Isaiah 4:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach. They’re all scrambling for the top 20% of guys who know better and don’t want them.

Next time, maybe say, “You dropped this” on the way out, and give him a napkin or cardboard coaster with “YouTube MGTOW” written on it. Maybe we need tracts! Instead of “This Is Your Life!” it could be “This Is Your Wife!”
