Right, so the article addresses these concerns exactly. Two of the things the author is pushing are wider “opt out” testing (basically: testing where they don’t necessarily tell you they’re testing for HIV or, if they do, you have to specifically request not to be tested for HIV instead of having to request for testing to be done) and wider availability of PrEP medications. For anyone who (like me) has never heard of PrEP, it’s apparently a preventative HIV medication. Yup, apparently there’s a …

Isn’t this… good news? HIV rates aren’t rising among heterosexuals, they’re falling among gay men to such an extent that they’re now (just barely) fewer than 50% of new cases. Still hugely disproportionately affected, though The article says we need a “new strategy” because, basically, programs have done such a good job at eradicating the disease among gay men that they’re no longer the majority, and new strategies are needed to better target the new main demographic—straight men and women

Why do LVM always get angry when they’re drunk???? Literally 90% of the girls I know get drunk and try to befriend every other chick in the bathroom, 50% of the men I know get drunk and punchy. Tf is the deal??

I’d recommend looking up photos of modern hunter gatherers and nomadic groups. There’s plenty to choose from: the Piraha in Brazil, Tsimane, Awa, Maasai, Tuareg... The women are certainly more fit than I, as a normal American 22 year old, am, but they still look noticably like women. Some are quite pretty. Women naturally store more fat even when quite fit; curves don’t vanish just due to manual labor. It takes a lot of hardcore physical activity for a woman to get really fit and, though manual …

Assuming you mean that “short” men are fine in Hispanic cultures because Hispanic men are shorter on average, I’m gonna disagree. My experiences in South and Central America line up really well with what the OP is describing; I never saw shorter-than-the-local-average men struggle in relationships and I never saw a major stigma around short men, outside of friendly teasing. Discotheques were filled with men dancing with girls who were taller than them and no one ever seemed to give a shit

If a chick isn’t replying for days and cancelling last minute, she’s not playing hard to get. She’s actually disinterested.

If an employer expects me to be at their beck and call before I’m even working there, it’s very indicative of the respect they would have for me as an employee and I’d be disinterested in working there. Same is true for relationships.

Good for you I guess? Negotiation is expected in the hiring process. I wouldn’t want to work somewhere that treats me like I can’t even weigh in on my own hiring.

Again: what the fuck kinda yoga class are you going to? I’ve seen some men, but I’ve literally never seen a man in his 50’s in a single yoga class I’ve been to. You’re sure you’re talking about yoga, right? What kind of yoga? What were you guys doing? Also I’ll just point out that you seem oblivious to the fact that there are exercise classes that are women-only. That’s the majority I go to. Of course you wouldn’t know about them since you’re a guy, but they very much exist.

Wtf yoga class were you at? I’ve never seen more than 30% men in any yoga class I’ve been to, and I’m a hippie. I’ve been to a lot.

Lmao dude, you need to grow a pair. Do you sit there and agonize over every missed connection? If it’s early enough in the relationship that “not pursuing” means it’s over then you shouldn’t have enough emotion invested to throw this much of a fit over it. I’ll give you a secret: most of the things you’re thinking are women “making mistakes” are women showing you exactly what they’re after, or losing interest themselves and hoping you get the hint. How does any of that matter though? If he’s not into me anymore he’s not into me. Done
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/20 12:05 AM

Why would they stop pursuing unless they’d lost interest? If a guy stops pursuing me I assume 100% of the time that he’s no longer interested. I’ve tried a couple times to renew contact but it’s never worked. I don’t bother with it anymore even if I’m super into them, because I accept it as his way of telling me that he no longer wants to pursue anything with me. If I liked him I’ll be sad that he’s no longer into me, but there’s nothing else to do

Oh my god an eye roll I’m so offended and hurt Dude said relationships are unhappy. I said they’re not. You said... men get screwed by divorce? It’s not relevant to the conversation of whether or not relationships are happy. If you want to argue about divorce there’s plenty of people on this sub with strong opinions on it you can talk to 👋
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/20 12:06 PM
1

?? I’m trying to and you’re insulting me because your own point was irrelevant.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/20 12:00 PM

I’d be happier talking to someone who could stay on topic for an eighth of a second. If you want to argue about divorce then argue about divorce with someone who actually has an opinion on divorce to discuss with you. If you want to just bring up a bunch of random points to support your “all women bad” mentality then idk, start a Pinterest board and put them all there instead of shoehorning them into conversations with people who don’t care

Okay? Then take it up with them and stop telling me about it
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/20 11:36 AM

That isn’t relevant to my point that being in a relationship is the healthiest, happiest state to be in (in opposition to the guy trying to argue that people in relationships are generally unhappy)
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/20 10:56 AM
1

Wow, so not being in a relationship is bad, almost like that’s what I’ve been saying!! 😱
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/20 08:55 AM

This isn’t what they’re “reporting”, holy shit. Have you really not heard about this stuff? You can’t just fake life spans. That’s not “bullshit testimony”
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/20 08:53 AM
2

He’s not trying to agree with me, but he’s failing to actually argue against anything I’m saying. I replied to a guy who said people in relationships are miserable, I replied that they’re happier than those out of relationships, now this guy is saying that “oh, well, there’s a chance they won’t be in relationships again after and then they’re unhappy!” Cool, so being in a relationship is still statistically the happiest, healthiest state to be in.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/20 01:25 AM
5

I believe half will end in divorce, meaning there is a high risk of being miserable. So being single = being miserable? The same thing I’ve been saying? Studies show that married people are happier, healthier, and live longer. No amount of random stats pulled out of your ass will change that. Being in a relationship is a net positive for the vast majority of people.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/20 12:53 AM

Sounds like you agree that people in relationships are generally happier and healthier than those out of them, lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/20 11:57 PM

Do you have virtually anything to back that up besides your own beliefs? Married people are generally happier, healthier, and live longer than their counterparts. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me

/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/20 10:28 PM

That may be true, but I think the theory they lined out in the article I linked sounds pretty plausible, too. Low-income men tend to be with low-income women, and the cost of third-party childcare is super high, to the point that it can cost more than mom’s entire yearly salary. When that’s the case it ends up being cheaper to provide the childcare yourself instead of paying exorbitant rates for someone else to do it. The downside is that those low-earners tend to also be relatively uneducated..…

If all a chick wanted was attention she wouldn’t be dating, she’d be posting nudes online. Way easier and less work. She wants emotion. Women try not to give sex until they get actual emotional investment, men try not to give emotional investment until they get sex. You really think fucking attention is a direct one-to-one equivalent for something most people only do with ~10 people in their entire lives? Actually. TRP maximizes a guy’s odds of getting sex with no emotional investment. FDS maxim…

/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/20 09:28 PM

But people can’t point out your hypocrisy? Lmao ok. TRP tries to get women to emotionally invest without emotionally investing themselves. FDS tries to get guys to financially invest without investing themselves. One tries to benefit men without giving a rat’s ass about women. One tries to benefit women without giving a rat’s ass about men. It’s two sides of the same coin

I can’t find any stats but I’d be willing to bet the stats for stay-at-home dads would be similar, super high earners can afford to have one parent not work. It just makes sense. An interesting stat I found when trying to see if there was any comprable research for SAHD (first graph here) was that the second most common demographic for SAHM, behind highest earners, was actually lowest earners. Most SAHMs are from families that are either very wealthy or kinda poor. Middle class is where the leas…

Blackpill especially conflates “preference” with “requirements”. I’m not going to pussyfoot around it: most girls prefer hot guys with wide frames and great jawlines etc. Very few women are so hot that they can require all men they date to be that attractive, though. Almost all women will very readily settle for less. All the stuff blackpill emphasizes will make you hotter in women’s eyes (sometimes... over-the-top surgery is pretty ick), but most guys don’t need to do any of it to get a girlfri…

Correction on Myth 3: it’s the percent of all women’s hospital visits for violent attacks that were domestic violence, not the percent of all women’s hospital visits that were violent attacks. 37% of violence-caused hospital visits were by domestic violence and the article mentions that this puts the percentage of total hospital visits that were domestic abuse at 1% (meaning it’s probably a bit over 2% of all hospital visits that were caused by violence, if my math is right). I personally think there's a fair enough balance on the Subreddit right now, if a debate subreddit seems to lean in favor of one way or another — maybe that's just your preconceived bias of what you perceive to be neutral interfering with that. Both pro-trp and pro-fds posts get upvoted on this subreddit, if you want to artificially distort the general population's opinion here — that literally requires active censorship on the moderators part. So why didn’t you make that post instead of making …

No, you just completely misidentified the entire point of the post. If you’d come with a sliver of reading comprehension and had managed to argue what it actually said you might have had more success. Any of them could say they “build houses” you dumbass lmaooo I worked for a natural home building company, we did everything. Loose skin on the stomach though. Vaginal changes. Bigger breasts for a while, but after that they’re back to their previous size and saggier. Scar tissue. Stretch marks. You’ve got a very romantic view of post-birth if you think it’s just big tits and ass, lmao

Per your post there has to be individualized treatment rather than generalized treatment Across all mental disorders? Yes. Across specific disorders with known and decently well-understood symptoms? Not really. Especially if you catch them in childhood the difference between high-functioning and severely impaired kids with autism is actually not huge, and all of them have the same causes behind their problems. It’s not just that they don’t get on well with others; it’s a lack of some instinctual…

Cool, interesting perspectives that vary from the norm. Artsy guys may have an interesting take on what makes a song or piece of art “good”, and it’s fun to discuss stuff like that. Hippies usually have weird views on everything; life, death, afterlife, the planet, etc. Maybe you dislike those topics, idk, but to act like that value doesn’t exist to some other people is pretty silly

“A lot” is definitely a value that depends on what you’re comparing it to. From what I’m aware, the proportion of geniuses with autism/people with autism who are geniuses is disparate enough from the rest of the population that I’d consider it to be a lot. You can disagree, but you admit it’s a higher percentage than the general population so I don’t think we need to argue on the semantics because it seems we’re close enough to being on the same page that it won’t make a difference one way or th…

I disagree 🤷‍♀️ I’ve known people who were really passionate about subjects and worked day in and day out to get good grades in the subject. Then I know people who don’t particularly care one way or the other and just have a natural intelligence who put in half the effort and get the better grade. Maybe a lot of people could solve the same math problems he could, but I personally don’t think just anyone could’ve thought up the theory of relativity by liking physics. Spending most of your life on something makes you more knowledgeable about it, but not necessarily more intelligent. Intelligence is an innate skill. Again, to bring up Albert Einstein, he had probably passed my current level of understanding of mathematics (I’m a university student) by the time he was in the 7th grade, his talent for math goes far beyond just being knowledgeable. Intelligence is about how quickly and completely you can pick up knowledge, not about how much knowledge you’ve buil…

Sure, and intelligent people are especially good at it. Not everyone can make major yet subtle connections to different ideas and apply them. If someone’s intelligent they can. If you want to dispute the definition you can take it up with whatever deity is in command of the English language. I’m just saying what people understand intelligence to mean. It’s not the same as knowledgeable.

Why do you think IQ intelligence is more important now than emotional intelligence? Seems like a pretty big assumption to not back it up with anything. Right so you agree that women don't select for high IQ and actually select for traits that are heavily correlated with low IQ. Disagree. I think emotional intelligence is about even in low and high IQ populations, i.e. it’s pretty low. It seems highest in people with about average intelligence. High IQ has a very high comorbidity with autism. Do with that information as you will. The long and short of it is that women value high social intelligence over high IQ-type intelligence, for good reason. A high IQ alone doesn’t really get you that far. Sure that means they usually end up with average-intelligence guys, but people acting like it’s intelligence itself that is unattractive are dumbasses. It does apply for some women in their 20s, but not all of them. Teenagers tend to like guys who look like teenagers, women in their 20s tend to like men who look like they’re in their 20s, etc. There are exceptions to every rule but that’s the typical trend. Among my group of (female) friends, I’d say fit late 20’s guy (note: that’s a little older than we are) > stereotypical “pretty boys” > old men, in terms of how common attraction is to each.

When does TRP ever advocate for finding a long term partner that you see extremely regularly and spend most of your day with? They advocate fuck buddies. If you’re done with someone as soon as you’re done screwing them, it’s not good evidence you think highly of them. Wanting to spend the majority of the rest of your life with someone—not just “with” as in “in a relationship with”, “with” as in “physically in a close proximity constantly”—is pretty indicative that you at least view them positive…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/20 02:53 PM

They don’t always argue against monogamy, but they very rarely advocate for it and never on the scale that FDS does. FDS is specifically geared towards finding a long term partner, and I’d argue that wanting to spend the rest of your life with someone is a pretty clear indication that you view them in a very positive light. Everything you’ve said against subservience could be applied twofold to TRP.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/20 02:50 PM

So they’re specifically seeking out a situation in which they’re legally tied to a man and spend the majority of the day with him for the rest of their lives, but they don’t look highly upon men?

Okay, see, you’re still not debating my point that TRP’s definition of high value doesn’t support the idea that they respect women
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/20 02:29 PM
5

No? I’ve never said promiscuity is bad? Nice straw man I guess though? I’m saying that if you’re only interested in someone for sex, it’s not compelling evidence that you actually like or respect them. If TRP wants to argue that they do, in fact, like and respect women, they need another argument to support that besides “I want to fuck them”
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/20 02:26 PM
5

I don’t see how that negates my argument... in fact, it seems to support my point that TRP men generally don’t like women, as you’re now trying to argue out of nowhere that women are naturally attracted to low value individuals and you’re adding in a lot of adjectives that seems to imply you think of that as some kind of inherent fault of women
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/20 02:14 PM
6

As FDS uses the term, high value means someone that you want to seek out to spend the rest of your life with, have kids with, etc. As TRP uses the term, high value means someone you want to fuck. You can’t argue that FDS hates all men when they’re specifically seeking out a lifelong partnership with guys. There’s not really a comprable idea in TRP as far as I know, where many of the dudes seem to only like women insofar as they can get human contact and sex.

Most of the problems feminists fight against can’t really happen right now. There’s no catcalling if no one’s outside, no workplace inequality if you can’t go to the workplace, etc. You’ve been blind if you’ve not seen feminists speaking about how much worse domestic violence is atm, but other than that there’s not much to discuss. Most activist groups have quieted down right now (minus the dumbasses protesting quarantine and vegans talking about the wet markets, but sovereign citizens and vegan…

Sure, but I can handle neediness on it’s own. I can be very dom-y and sometimes a guy who is a little needy can be really cute. Desperation and specifically desperation is where I draw the line. It’s always a hard no.

What you described sounds, to me, less like neediness and more like desperation. I’d consider a guy who reinvents himself to appeal to me specifically to be desperate. And no, I don’t like it. Desperate men are dangerous men. A guy who likes me but who has other options (or at least acts like he does) is a guy who isn’t going to do anything crazy to get me into bed or something because he’s got other opportunities for that. It’s less about what I find attractive and more that being the object of…

Racism of two types working in harmony POC are highly exoticized and fetishized. Black guys have big dicks, latin@s are slutty, Asian women are submissive, etc. POC are very often made into sex symbols. POC are almost always judged as being poor, working in bad jobs, and overall being of a lower economic standing. Men highly value sex and don’t particularly care about their partner’s income. Women highly value their partner’s position in society and don’t particularly care about sex. Combine the…

guy thought he could put his dick in my urethra and thought that was a really hot “sexual position” anatomy in general, tbh. I answered this a couple times elsewhere, but basically: backpacking is insanely cheap if you put effort into making it cheap. If you go to the Philippines and eat nothing but street food and sleep every night in a shared hostel room with 7 other people, for example, it’ll cost you next to nothing. Last time I travelled I had a week-long stretch where I didn’t spend more than $7 any one day, and I was still having a blast. Especially since the guys I go for are hippies, most of them have lived f…

Ha! I missed that. I’ve met people who’ve begged in impoverished areas and they’re all douches. One guy did it as a “social experiment” (pocketed all the money he got, of course!), it’s disgusting. I can handle wooks outside festivals asking for handouts from other hippies, or street performing with no guilt-tripping, but actually begging for money from people living in shacks when the person begging had enough money for an international plane ticket to their destination is a dick move.

Guys who don’t know me super well don’t know about any of the “dealbreakers” you’ve mentioned. Based on your criteria thus far, upon meeting me, you wouldn’t think I was a slut.

Oh lord, so many moochers. Worse than you’re describing, too. Hate the ones who’re intentionally homeless the most. I try to avoid the really gross moochers (street begging in a third world country is not a good look) but yeah, there’s a lot of them. The overall culture of raves and festivals is pretty lax on what’s mooching so while I understand that you and the general population would consider them moochers, I’m pretty okay with it. Sex and the feeling of human connection with very low effort. There’s also a ton of stuff about how all women are sluts, they all lie and cheat, they’re all shallow and dumb as a bag of bricks, etc. That’s the derogatory remarks the other comment was talking about, they’re definitely negative, and those aren’t necessary for “self-actualization”

I don’t care how many more women it is than men. You weren’t arguing that women have sex more frequently than men, you were saying a significant portion of women have tons of sex. Your link shows no such thing.

See, I like a body fat percentage that’s a little higher, maybe above what’s recommended, but only under the condition that the guy is also muscular underneath. I can’t tell body fat percentage perfectly from appearance, but from scrolling through body fat charts on google I think (NSFW, this is from a gay porn sub bc it’s the only thing geared towards the body I’m describing that I could find and he’s clothed but dick outline is present) this guy would be closer to 20% body fat, but he’s still …

Where does that link support what you’re saying? Are you talking about the 5% of single women vs 2% of single men who had sex 4+ times per week? Because that’s still a tiny percentage of women, and it still has nothing to do with the argument you’re trying to make (that demure women act sexually aggressive)

I told you exactly what numbers I used and you somehow still screwed it up. Either you need to disregard those women not in the labor force, or those are the only you should consider to be stay at home moms.

Yes, it is written in clear language, I’m not sure what you’re failing to understand. Google what the “civilian labor force” is, it includes unemployed persons. You can also scroll down to the actual numbers in the later pages to see: there’s a value given for the “civilian noninstitutional population” for each group, which is the number of all people not in military or prison. Below that is the “civilian labor force”—the number of people in the civilian labor force. I don’t know how I can make …

“Participate in the labor force” means to be a part of the civilian labor force. The civilian labor force includes those unemployed. There are two options, and I can’t find anywhere that addresses it: either stay at home moms are not counted in the civilian labor force, which means the 31% not participating in the labor force is as close as you’re going to get to the number of SAHMs, albeit it’ll be artificially inflated by women otherwise unable to work (on disability/recovering from child birt…

/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 12:16 AM

It’s common sense, holy shit. If you go to cosplay conventions you’re going to have better odds of finding weebs. If you go to sororities you’re going to have better odds of finding pretty rich white girls. If you go to special showings of history documentaries you’re going to have better odds of finding history nerds. None of that is measurable because no one’s dumb enough to need a scientific survey on it to figure that out. It’s not all that complicated.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 12:12 AM

The odds aren’t possible to measure. Women do like simps, though, for obtaining what they’re after: commitment/money with no effort. Guys like female simps for the same reason: they get sex with no effort. The chick won’t give the simp what he actually wants (sex) and the guy won’t give the female simp what she actually wants (commitment).
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/20 10:48 PM

If a good partner isn’t something you want, then don’t complain that you don’t have it. If you only want LVW I have absolutely no problem with it, but you shouldn’t go around whining that you only get LVW.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/20 10:46 PM

I said women on most dating apps are generally after casual dating and casual sex, because that’s what those apps and websites are for. If you disagree then sorry, but you’re a moron. I never said women in academia aren’t sluts; I said if you’re wanting women who are scholarly and aren’t shallow and you look for potential partners exclusively in places that attract shallow party-ers, then you’re a fool to complain that that’s all you find. Not sure how church is relevant, but cool I guess.

Yeah and I’m saying it’s a stupid joke when that’s not what women are saying, lmao. If you’re too lazy to put in any effort whatsoever, then yes, you’ll only find the easy-to-obtain LVW. Duh. If that’s your strategy then don’t bitch about only finding LVW, because it’s entirely preventable
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/20 10:21 PM

Then she got lucky, just like some simps get lucky. The point of the term pickme is that they’re so outrageously desperate that they sacrifice their own wants to mold themselves into the stereotype of what guys want, just like simps. Since she, like a simp, doesn’t have a spine or standards to get what she’s actually after, she’s almost 100% certain to get pumped and dumped—why wouldn’t she? Women: the fabled woman exists you just need to keep swiping, invest more money, riches await you soon That’s the exact opposite of what we’re saying. Tinder and most other OLD sites/apps attract a very specific type of woman, those who are super into casual dating, casual sex, etc. Getting rich attracts gold diggers. If that’s all you’re doing to find potential partners then yeah, you’re going to find gold diggers and sluts. Who’d ‘a thunk it. Guys on this sub and other RP theory subs talk all …

I’d never heard of this, but I’ve been scrolling through google now to read up on it and I can’t find a single thing talking about actual behaviors; it seems it literally just refers to skirt length. Although that does, often, correlate with behaviors around sex, it seems pretty presumptuous to say that economists are pushing the idea that good market = slutty women when I’ve not found anyone saying that

Do I “know” because they actually did ignore/reject me in our teens? If yes: probably not, because of too much pre-existing negative emotions going on there. If I know in some other, less personally involved way, probably yeah. A lot of people consider LTR to be synonymous with “serious relationship”. For most people it’s not just the length of time you’re together that’ll make it an LTR, it’s the fact that it could foreseeably continue indefinitely and that you’re actually trying to have a legitimate connection. I’ve had casual relationships that continue longer than some of my LTR’s, but I wouldn’t consider them LTR.

No? Where did I say that? From my experience, marriages all have a pretty similar likelihood of being shitty. Promiscuous people who have a lot more relationship/sexual experience usually aren’t religious, so it’s no biggie for them to get divorced and find someone new. Virgins are more often than not part of a religious group that is against divorce, so splitting up would be a big deal. In this particular case, it just means that the low body count of that particular category is correlated with the lack of divorce, not the cause of it. Coercive rape and rape by deception have nothing to do with using a woman for sex. If you’re wanting to go down the scientific route and base your conclusions on, of all species you could’ve chosen, chimpanzees, then yes women have morals and these morals are purer than men’s. Is this really the path you’re wanting to take?

Yeah, it makes me laugh when people say OLD is the problem then bring up how we’re going to “become like Japan”. Japan’s birth rate has been falling pretty spectacularly for a few decades, since before OLD. OLD is not why they’re experiencing this; stop using them as a reference for your argument. The main cause is jobs (or, I should say, the lack thereof). It does like up a bit with the advent of video gaming and subsequent lack of socialization, and is suspiciously happening in the country mos…

How much of their treatment is due to them being the opposite gender vs. being trans, though? Trans women do not go through what I experience as a cis woman, because they are not perceived by the majority of society as a “regular” woman. They will have different dating experiences, experience different prejudices, and will not have had the transformative moments in early childhood that shaped how I view myself and femininity as a whole.

I’m not redpilled, but I don’t think this argument makes much sense. TBP as discussed on this sub is different than r/thebluepill. TBP is, according to the people here, the belief that the way society currently works is correct and typically liberal beliefs about how to find a relationship (being nice, gaining trust, having fun in your youth then settling down later, etc.) is the best advice out there. r/thebluepill is a sub to make fun of stuff on the TRP sub. To be totally honest I’ve only been in an LTR once with a guy whose N-count I knew (I was a virgin and he’d been with 3 other girls). I’ve never actually asked or been all that curious about the others. If they’re pushing to have sex with no condom I’ll ask if they were virgins when we met and if the answer is no (which it has been 100% of the time lol) I demand an STD test but other than that threat it really doesn’t matter much to me If we were wanting to get married I’d probably be a bit more…

How do you expect them to write a 20 page paper specifically to be read by someone who can’t be bothered to read the first paragraph? It’s for the benefit of everyone, sure, but it’s not expected to be read by everyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/20 04:23 PM

It would absolutely happen, lmao. It’s extremely common in pop science magazines for them to not even quote any of the conclusions and just make up their own that the article never supports or presents evidence of. They’re only undermining their own legitimacy among people with no reading comprehension or who can’t be bothered to read one paragraph, and truthfully I don’t think they were ever writing for them anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/20 04:11 PM

It’s not the first sentence. It’s the last one. You were supposed to have read the preceding paragraph before getting to that point, which explains exactly what was studied and how it was measured. The media will horribly misconstrue data anyway, no matter how many colloquialisms are thrown in, it’s unpreventable.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/20 03:55 PM

The average person reading scientific papers is expected to have more intelligence than the average person who eats tostitos. This happens all the time in academia and it’s expected that those reading will read fully enough to make their own conclusions and understand the nuance.

The vast majority of men don’t have to learn anything. You’re biologically coded to want to pass on your genes and know how to do it, if you’re having to learn from TRP or other sources you’ve already probably got some underlying issue.

I’m quite short (~5ft) and my absolute ideal would be a guy my exact height. I rarely wear heels anyway so it’s not like I’ll be taller than him, and for some reason I find same height couples to be SO cute in photos. I have yet to find a guy my height, sadly. Beyond that I don’t care too much, but above 5’10-ish I’d guess (I’m too short to accurately measure tall people’s height 😩) I start to find guys uncomfortably tall and intimidating because of past experiences so I avoid them.

If you took out all of them I think I get attractive-cute slightly more than baby-cute, but I’m 5 foot nothing and 95lbs so I’d imagine I get baby-cute a lot more than the average adult.

As far as I’m aware, no country has completely banned BPA’s and we’re becoming increasingly aware of transgenerational effects, with tests showing that lab mice who had never been exposed to any BPA’s were still more likely to birth autistic young if their parents or grandparents had been exposed. It could take at least a generation or two for the effects of BPA on the population to level out.

In that case, you’ve got a severe misunderstanding of how autism works. The reason people call it “on the spectrum” is because there is a large spectrum. All the way on one end are people who can barely function and need caretakers for their entire lives. All the way on the other end are people who are so high-functioning that most people wouldn’t even know they have autism. They can go their entire lives without a diagnosis. Cults don’t have to be a get rich scheme, fyi, and more often than not they aren’t. So if pre-pubescent boys are just as weak as women why should it be more socially unacceptable to hit a young boy than a woman?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/20 02:28 AM

I said in my original comment what my experience with violence is. You can read it if you like. I’ve been punched several times and every time it left a bruise. You just sound like you have no experience being on the receiving end of violence while stuck in a vastly smaller and weaker body.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/20 01:58 AM
2

I literally cited a study in my original comment. The men studied punched on average 162% stronger than the women, and even the strongest woman studied could not punch as hard as the weakest man. Add in that women can’t take a punch as well and it is guaranteed that a man punching a woman will do more damage to her than she will to him. Have you just not read my original comment? I think it’s pretty clear from it whether I’m a woman or not lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/20 01:54 AM

My original comment can be summed up in this: Obviously no one should be starting dumb fights and both parties should get some punishment, but I don’t think it’s “iNEqUaLity” that women get less flack for it than the other way around. Aka: the men crying about inequality are refusing to look at how much more damage a man will inherently cause. It’s not a double standard, it’s a biological difference.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/20 01:50 AM
2

The damage will not be the same, that is the whole point of my argument. If a woman could punch just as hard as a guy and cause just as much damage to him I wouldn’t be arguing this.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/20 01:44 AM

Most societies were polygamist (roughly 80% of them), and for most of them it wasn’t just the upper class. It was the most efficient way of getting a bunch of kids to help you raise your crops/tend to your herd/etc. As people moved into cities and craft specialization grew it would become increasingly inefficient for a man to have so many mouths to feed which would be when ruling classes started being the only ones to have multiple wives and, over time, religions developed around societal norms …

To some people. I don't make it gendered. Like I said earlier you can judge by the results of their violence to determine how wrong something is instead of their gender. That is a gender-neutral stance. Cool! Then you should’ve never been part of this conversation to begin with!

There is no biological difference between a poor person and a wealthy person so there’s not going to be a very significant difference in how much damage the two could cause. As I have said multiple times I agree it’s wrong, but one will be justifiably punished more because more damage is done. I wouldn’t excuse a Prius running into a Hummer (just as I’ve never at any point excused a woman hitting a man), but it’s justifiable that the Prius will have to pay less for damages than the Hummer would if the roles were reversed and everything else was kept equal because the Prius is going to cause less damage to the Hummer than the Hummer would to it.

Where did I defend violence against men? Point it out. I said women will be punished less severely and rightfully so because they’re doing less damage. I would accept equal violence equally. Woman fighting woman = man fighting man, both are comparably bad. But a man beating up a woman will cause more damage than a woman against a man so it’s worse. Just like an adult hitting a kid is worse than a kid hitting an adult, or a boss being verbally abusive to an employee is worse than an employee being verbally abusive to their boss. Haha I wish. Just good head massages. It can feel very intimate and vulnerable with the right positioning, throw in some humming and dudes turn into putty in your hands. One time it made a guy tear up because he said he felt so safe but he kinda had issues so I think that’s an anomaly lmao

I’m extremely good at head massages. I don’t know that I’d consider this my best quality personally, but somehow 2 different dudes have said with no real provocation that this is the main reason they pursued LTRs with me and didn’t want something casual so apparently it’s significant I’m a good cook and baker Since I bake bread a lot, the house/apartment always smells fantastic I like making packed lunches for guys I’m very serious with. The first ever known poet was a woman but go off I guess. If you only like poetry from the 17th and 18th centuries, you can actually look at female poets from those centuries instead of trying to compare someone with a vastly different time period btw. It’s stupid to compare Plath and Shakespeare and if you’re going to feign being this widely educated in poetry you shouldn’t be so oblivious to that. Now address the rest of my comment instead of hiding behind this shitty argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/20 05:52 AM

Do you actually want a list of female poets? Of all the disciplines you could’ve chosen you picked one that is actually absolutely saturated with talented women, going back to ancient times. Admittedly a pretty poor argument. Anyway, your friend: you’re making an awful lot of assumptions about guy A and guy B. Relationships are built on a lot more than just professions. Maybe guy A is a complete slob and she hated how he left his clothes everywhere. Maybe she watched him hit a puppy and now is u…

When you say “unattractive” are we talking about strictly physical attraction or attraction in general? Everyone I’ve ever dated or sought dating has been attractive to me in some way, but there’ve been several cases where that attraction doesn’t include their appearance (for any number of reasons).
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/20 01:54 AM

Yeah, the men who struggle are the ones who can’t present themselves as nice and interesting. How is it a “cop out” when I gave you the exact reasons it’s true in the rest of the paragraph? Most guys are uncomfortable with women approaching them. My approaching and escalating is an immediate turnoff for guys I otherwise could’ve had a chance with. Signals don’t risk driving men away. Which do you think women will be preferential towards?

The incels I’ve known have not had any major social anxiety, they’re just misogynistic assholes who drive women away by being way too vocal about very controversial opinions. I think most incels are also somewhere on the spectrum and just bad at understanding how human interaction works for neurotypicals. The reason women give signals is because we still live in a society that encourages women not to ask out men. You can look through this sub, if you’d like—there’ve been a number of posts asking…

There’s not a good number of posts dragging guys from being having kids; most of them are chill with single dads. It’s not a priority that goes both ways. But anyway: where on earth did I say that this is limited to men? “Omg the female equivalent of TRP does the same thing TRP does!!” How insightful!
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/20 04:20 PM

If a guy said that to me, I’d go “okay cool” because I’m not enough of a jackass to assume that I know better than he does what his own preferences are.

I disagree that having less interaction with a certain group of people means someone has criteria against them. If I mostly hang out in art galleries that doesn’t mean that I’m preferential against blind people. If I meet most guys through my gym I’m not essentially eliminating men who aren’t into fitness. If a guy with low self-esteem or social anxiety reached out to me via online dating or another non-face-to-face method of contact and met my criteria I’d still be interested. I’ve dated dudes …

I did hit the gym three times a week prior to the corona-induces closures, I’m now forced to do shitty workout videos I find online. That’s not at all how it works, haha. In most states in the US sugar dating websites have upwards of like 10x as many babies seeking arrangements as daddies. The dudes in question have also usually spent the last 20+ years with their main source of social interaction coming through their businesses. If you want to be in a sugar arrangement, unless you’re free styling (which I’ve never attempted so I guess it’s possible I’d have tremendous success that way, but I doubt it), you need to be top-of-…

Nah, you’re allowed to reject anyone you like if you’re not a dick about it. Rejecting a single mom because you hate kids? Cool, that’s a common preference. Dragging the single mom through every relevant online forum you can find, thinking up as many extremely personal insults for her as you can, acting offended that she would so much as look at you with interest, and then turning that rage towards every single mom in the world to call them entitled cows? I have actual incels in my actual life and feel genuinely bad for them. I also had a friend commit suicide over a very incel-y reason that I won’t get into, plus I used to identify as a femcel and know how they feel. I just wanted to help. I very rarely go on the sub now as I tried to say in my last comment. I mostly just hang out here. I still get the same results though, now it’s just from redpilled dudes instead of blackpilled.

I tried for like a year to find a sugar daddy to no avail, lol. It’s really not just “exist and this happens”, it takes quite a bit of effort and being naturally stunning. The vast majority of women could not get an all-expenses paid vacation around the world as easily as you’re trying to describe.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/20 10:52 PM

The problem is that TRP more often than not doesn’t do that, especially on reddit. A lot of incels consider themselves redpillers. A lot of them are on the TRP sub as well. There’s a lot more than just “don’t put women on a pedestal” happening on the TRP sub and I’d be a bit worried about your biases if you’re going to pretend that doesn’t exist

It ends by basically saying that evolutionary psychology as it relates to human mating behaviors and “neural circuitry” is speculative and has “consistently overlooked the social dimensions of human behavior, and the diverse effects of social institutions, time, and place”. And the Spanish Flu was a global pandemic as well. I’m not saying the period after was “TiTs ANd jaZz oNLy” but it objectively was a period where the West moved away from traditional gender roles, not towards it like you’re trying to argue. Ending things immediately after having sex is, in fact, pumping and dumping. If you want to argue about the ethics of pump and dumps it’s a whole separate discussion, but if you dump someone immediately after you fuck then you’ve pump and dumped them You didn’t say you need to be in a romantic relationship, but you did say that 1) a regular relationship has no bearing on a romantic relationship, which is irrelevant to any of my claims and that 2) you can’t pump and dump a friend, which I’m disag…

Yes, it is, which is why I’ve NOT been talking about being “in a romantic relationship”. I’m talking about HAVING A RELATIONSHIP. I’ve never been pumped and dumped so I’ve got no emotional attachment to any side of this debate. If you could stop making assumptions about me I’d appreciate it. Yes, they literally were. Comment I replied to mentioned women wanting immediate sex. Another further up was saying pump and dumps happen after one date. I’m the only one to explicitly state ONS but it’s been referenced multiple times in this thread. You aren’t going to know sexual compatibility after literally a single night together. If it’s a one night stand then you’re going on it for sex and even one misstep is a valid reason not to pursue more meetups, but for a relationship that’s already…

3

A pump and dump is a relationship or handful of dates or whatever you’d like to categorize it—but NOT a one night stand, which is what people are falsely arguing throughout this thread. The difference between it and a short term relationship is that in an STR you get broken up with for some valid reason; in a pump and dump it ends immediately after one party gets sex and doesn’t continue after that point.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/20 04:46 PM

Pumping and dumping implies a level of commitment beforehand. You can’t “dump” someone who was a one night stand, it’s a word exclusively used for relationships. It’s a problem because it’s someone in a relationship who drops that relationship with no warning because they got the sex they wanted. None of your genius ideas will do anything to counter that issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/20 04:33 PM

You grow up and tell them like an adult instead of ghosting, lmao. Even if it’s not premeditated, there are motives at the moment it happens: a guy realizing he made a mistake suddenly. That’s a motive. If all he’s going to do is ghost, though, it makes literally no difference to the woman he’s with. “The burden of proof lies on TRP to prove a singular scientific method to accomplish every goal they want, and they’ve provided no such evidence.” You replied to that SPECIFIC sentence, which says verbatim “to prove a scientific method” they have to provide evidence, with what you called evidence. What on earth is it evidence for if not the scientific theory I was originally talking about?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/20 02:37 AM

Alright, I’ll be clearer: that is anecdotal evidence that does not fall under the scope of the scientific method and, as such, is not scientific evidence and labeling it as such would be considered pseudoscience.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/20 01:49 AM

That is not evidence, lmao. There are several billion people who believe in deities and strongly believe that they’ve had spiritual experiences, and by the very virtue of there being different religions CLEARLY some of those people’s “experiences” are false, are based on false beliefs or misconceptions, or never happened in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/20 01:42 AM

THIS. This whole post is dumb because it’s operating on the assumption that TBP offers some alternative scientific method to getting a girlfriend or something. TBP says that there isn’t a scientific method to get a girlfriend, from what I’ve seen; it preaches that all women are different and all sorts of practices work etc. etc. etc. The burden of proof lies on TRP to prove a singular scientific method to accomplish every goal they want, and they’ve provided no such evidence.

Your buying non-fair trade coffee/chocolate/fruit (you do, don’t lie) is the same as walking into a mom’n’pop shop owned by the sweetest couple in town and stealing from them at gunpoint? Where are you getting your stats on how “most women interpret FDS silence on appearance”? That’s not how I’ve ever interpreted it. That’s not how this woman interpreted it. There are posts opposing looksmaxxing, calling it male pandering (one of the biggest no-no’s). If you want to look cute that’s fine and they often encourage it for your own confidence and self-esteem, but if you’re like most women don’t need to do a ton of physical self-improvement to attract a guy and from my experience FDS …

Guys do often drool over bi women, but lots of (most?) lesbians are actually pretty anti-bi. Some weird purity thing or something. Bi women like bi women but lesbian women very often want nothing to do with us (I hope this isn’t coming across as salty lmao, just thought it was a distinction to make :P)

I don’t know that I worded that right. I don’t think they’re saying “don’t focus on your appearance”, but the fact that almost all the posts are about behaviors, beliefs, mannerisms, etc. instead of physical self-improvement shows where the priority lies. Some women could certainly focus on their appearance and see success, but the vast majority of women could keep their physical appearance exactly the same and change other characteristics and see an almost immediate spike in how many quality me…

Finally, a question for me!! Female My relationships with women have been a LOT more slow-moving, passionate, and emotionally-driven than my relationships with men. Sex is slower and more passionate, there’s a lot more cuddling and nights in, and it feels generally more thoughtful, but that last bit might be because those are not the standard relationship structure (so bi men may find that relationships with men feel more thoughtful since those aren’t the norm). When I date men it feels like we …

Go back and read the original comment I replied to. It said men have more diverse hobbies. I am, once again, for the fourth or fifth time at least in this comment section, not making claims about how good a hobby is because that’s bullshit. You’re making up your own definition of basic and projecting it onto me. The word “basic” doesn’t say anything about how much effort something requires; it means it’s so mainstream and overly common it’s uninteresting, and doesn’t serve as a defining characte…

Lmao, this is such a bullshit claim. Most dudes playing guitar aren’t learning music theory, they just learn chords and repeat them. Even if they were learning music theory it doesn’t take you 50 years to get good at guitar, it takes a decade or two, max. Source: I play guitar We also, at no point in this comment thread, were talking about snapchat. It’s a complete straw man. And as I said already: I’m not making claims about what’s a “good” hobby because that’s a dick move imo.

It’s important insofar as I know that’s what guys care about. It doesn’t make much of a difference for me, but I know for dudes sexual satisfaction is really all that matters in a relationship. If he thinks badly of my sexual performance he’s probably leaving. For the second question: if it was casual sex or a ONS I don’t give a shit if he leaves satisfied. If he can’t cum but I had the best sex ever, great for me. If I’m actually pursuing a relationship I’d want to make sure he enjoys it, but i…

You don’t understand the effects of socialization and how subconscious your biases are so idk if we can even have a productive discussion 😢 The fact is, cultures throughout history have been very open about the normalcy of sexual acts between men. That wouldn’t occur if <10% of men engaged in these acts, even if it was extra common in artsy men. That’s not how societal norms work.

There is absolutely no proof of what you’re saying. No one was conducting surveys on how many men were engaging in homoerotic acts. You can’t say definitively that it was a “tiny percentage”. That’s straight up false. Ancient Greeks and Romans were sticking it in each other’s butts for generations. Then in the Renaissance when they went through their whole “wow, Rome is SO cool” thing started emulating that and male-on-make sex was pretty rampant. Most cultures throughout history have had a lot of male homosexual sex happening (though relationships are a bit more rare), and generally it’s very unique to Abrahamic religions and the cultures with an Abrahamic history that any and all s…

Your whole esports thing was irrelevant to the actual post so I’m gonna ignore it. I’m specifically talking about companionship and starting a family. Without marriage, the father walking out is always a very real threat and the vast majority of women, especially those that men on this sub would be interested in, are not going to be down to have kids with one of these guys outside of marriage because she knows she could be left to take care of the child entirely on her own. If men want those things they’re almost always going to need to get married.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/20 04:21 PM

Lmao yeah? Same reason women want well-off guys, guys want girls who put out a lot... the only reason anyone is ever attractive is because of selfish reasons and personal benefit; either they get your dick hard/pussy wet or they put you in a better emotional/financial/whatever other situation. What on earth did you think was happening this whole time?

/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/20 03:38 PM

Theoretically you could but, as your post said, women want commitment. The odds of you getting that without agreeing to marriage are slim. The benefit men get from marriage is that being down to marry makes them more attractive for the vast majority of women.

Objectification, viewing women as objects for a guy’s sexual cravings instead of actual humans, isn’t going away because the women in the video are fictitious. How do you make your own observations if you think women are lying about how many men they’ve had sex with? You just gonna follow one around for several years and count how many men she fucks? If that were what was happening in every relationship, I could see where men would have a problem with it (though I’d still find the blatant misogyny in red pill communities disagreeable). My main issue with TRP is that that’s not what’s happening. The average age of a woman’s first marriage (27-ish) is both lower than what TRP constantly pushes and lower than men’s average age when they first marry (29-ish). When someone asks what I want in a man, I hear “what do you want in an ideal husband” and I answer with a variety of criteria that I try to seek out when seriously dating. Usually a guy will only have to hit a few of those criteria for me to be interested. The answer to “what are your minimum qualifications for a one night stand” will be way different and probably more like the speed dating data given here, and like what guys think women want.

If it’s a cool achievement/an achievement in a field I also enjoy yeah, because it means he’s interesting and has hobbies or it means we have something in common. Better yet, he’s committed enough to those hobbies to be exceptional in them. If it’s an uninteresting achievement, though, I don’t particularly care. Esports “stars” don’t get me going even if they’re breaking world records because I don’t find video games all that interesting.

Nah, it teaches you quite a bit about what you’re looking for and what you want to avoid and it serves as good relationship practice. She risks going to jail for not giving proper care to the kid as well, plus all the loss of freedom and money that comes with being a parent. They are different risks, but men’s are objectively less severe. Stop trying to victimize yourself, this is the literal theory around male and female mating strategies according to evolutionary biology.

Cool, now she’s got massive amounts of weight gain that are extra hard to get back off to lose, stretch marks that will never fully fade, either large visible scarring or a permanently altered vagina, and hormones that could take years to go back to normal. In every possible pregnancy scare scenario (Plan B/abortion, put up for adoption, or keep), the woman in a relationship has more risks than the man she’s with. Thereby, sex is a riskier proposition for her. How is this debatable?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/20 04:20 PM
2

Surgical abortion for sure, but I think you’d piss off everyone in every camp if you took away Plan B. Men are gonna be maaaaaad if their risk of paying the apparently oh so threatening child support goes up
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/20 03:13 PM
0

And? We’re not arguing about who’s fault it is that she’s pregnant. If she’s got religious or personal beliefs that make her not want an abortion, she’s risking a lot but who cares? The point is that she is at risk of being pregnant and having to care for a child. Under no circumstance will a man ever have that thrust upon him unwillingly. The worst he’d have is 18 years of child support, which I would way rather have than a whole ass baby.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/20 03:07 PM

It’s like you’ve never heard of the litany of health issues that arise from even Plan B, the most minor post-fertilization pregnancy prevention available on the market.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/20 03:04 PM
24

A man’s risk of getting raped or murdered by a partner is slim. If birth control fails, a woman is going to permanently fuck up her entire body and have another human being to be responsible for for 18 years; the most men would have to do is pay. If you can’t see how it’s riskier for women then 🤷‍♀️ Women also have more to lose from the get-go, so the best strategy is to be choosey about who you’re with. That’s what FDS promotes.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/20 02:56 PM
13

The dating market will never be “balanced”. Women have advantages (easier to get a new partner), men have advantages (easier to vet partners/less risky if partner isn’t properly vetted), that’s how the world works. TRP and FDS only serve to identify the strategy that will maximize benefits for their respective genders.

How can you expect that to become the norm if you call any woman who asks a guy out a “tranny” or crazy? Yeah I’m sure that’ll really encourage people to change. Or they’re actually interested in other people’s lives, even if they barely know them. Think reality TV and real housewives type stuff. It’s fun and interesting to see what people are up to. Who knows, though. Clearly not you as you’re both 1) not a woman and 2) have still not provided any evidence other than your own asinine dataless analysis. “oh, and you’re misunderstanding my original comment. Bro your argument is literally that women having more Facebook friends means they’re shallow attention whores. You have absolutely nothing to support that conclusion. Maybe you’re just overly uninterested in others’ lives (autistic behavior btw), but you’d rather attack women for no reason whatsoever And to repeat: “oh, and you’re misunderstanding my original comment. That’s not autism, that’s just poor reading comprehension or some weird need to argue your irrelevant points”

See you’re doing the thing I talked about where you’re over analyzing normal social interactions, which is characteristic of autism. You’re also implying some level of disliking relationships, which is also characteristic of autism. You’re also failing to understand the intentions of others and making your own mistaken assumptions with no data, which is also characteristic of autism. No offense man, but I don’t know anyone who isn’t either autistic or a sociological researcher who would spend that much time obsessing over how women on the other side of the planet are spending their time and whether or not it’s fair to the person reading. That’s a level of obsessive thoughts that is not normal.

In all honesty? I think autism is on the rise (thanks to BPAs, certain pesticides now in use, etc.) and we’re seeing the effects of that. I’m not saying this to be mean to those on the spectrum, it’s just my genuine belief on the topic. For neurotypicals the same stuff is still working. Ugly to average looking people with no mental handicaps are still killing it in the dating world, or at least finding their one soulmates without too much of a hassle. The majority of the people for whom the same…

Where are you drawing the line between a catcall and an “actual” cold approach? Like, would a guy walking up and going “holy shit you’re beautiful can I grab those digits” be the same as a catcall or is that an actual approach at that point? I don’t think personally that there’s a major difference between most catcalls and many cold approaches so I’m just trying to figure out what the cutoff is

They’ve got a lot of posts that are absolutely just brutal honesty. They also have posts saying women shouldn’t be allowed to make their own decisions, are solely responsible for several issues in the world (ranging from birth control to country-wide economic crisis), and deserve to be raped. I’d classify those in the latter category as hateful, personally

And I think that’s majorly oversimplifying what women usually actually do in relationships, to the point that it’s outright false. Even if it were true, I don’t see how it’s different from the exact same things TRP and MGTOW promote or why it warrants being as hateful to women as both subs are.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/20 05:22 PM

You don’t have a problem with that, maybe, but TRP and MGTOW are very against that ideologically. It’s apparently terrible that women want to be promiscuous for awhile but they then turn around and tell men to do the same thing. The hypocrisy is astounding. And sure, there are some women who fit every single one of their stereotypes, but that number is tiny. They act as though every woman has a million negative traits and their solutions to that range from harmless (if MGTOW could actually GTOW …

I am a bit of a switch, and I’m often in the mood to dominate guys in the bedroom. I think all the traits I find hot in those moods are beta traits—shy virgin guys, awkward guys, smaller and more submissive dudes, etc. I have only ever once been able to date a bisexual dude, and he happened to bottom in his male-on-male relationships and I’ve gotta say, something about the image of him being dominated by a bigger, stronger dude was hot. I don’t think porn is purely representative of male desires, either; it’s representative of a fantasy and what works best on screen. Just as movies are unrealistic in the way, for example, conversations work in order to make them usable footage, porn kind of invented its own form of sex that is made to be for show. It doesn’t exist for the pleasure of either party. If that existed on its own, I wouldn’t particularly mind. What I do mind is men (or I guess women, if any face the same issue) who h…

Both are awful. Why would changing genders change it? Each one is still intentionally seeking out another person while in a committed relationship. Each one is still going to absolutely destroy their partner’s self esteem just so they can nut/get nutted in slightly more frequently. It’s selfish, cruel, and so easily avoidable. The only times “cheating” is okay in my opinion is when it’s been agreed upon by the couple (I.e. open relationships). I think that’s not actually cheating, but I’ve met a…

Who says this? Real talk. I’m a bi chick on tinder, and women’s profiles are usually basically the same quality as men’s (except women usually have better pics). My only complaint is the over abundance of couples “looking for a third”, if that wasn’t a thing I think women’s profiles would win.

I’m pretty open with former girlfriends and female friends about sexual stuff, and I’ve gotta say, the number of women I’ve met with actual sex toys is quite small. I think more women watch porn than people stereotypically believe but it seems like vibrator/dildo usage is pretty negligible. I’ve also never personally heard of women who masturbate more than, like, twice a day, so I’m not totally sure porn addiction is that rampant either. What history? Extended family types have been the most common by far throughout history, and in pre-agricultural societies it’s expected that literally the entire village (especially the women) will assist mothers in raising their children. Nuclear families only became the thing in the US in like the 40s or 50s; if you watch old movies or read old books they almost always feature an extended family living together, usually parents, kids, and the dad’s parents (although the mother’s side and eith…

Testosterone rates have been falling since before the free sex movement, and testosterone is not impacted by how many cars you play with as a kid. It’s caused by being unemployed, fat, and not taking care of yourself. This is entirely on y’all.

Betas never got sex. Now there are just more betas because testosterone rates are falling. Look it up. It’s men’s failure to be men that’s causing their sexlessness, and the surplus of garbage, low value guys that are forcing women to turn to them for relationships that causes single parenthood.

Are you really trying to act like the millions of kids with single mothers are the results of a few guys who just really get around? Most men are shitty partners who would leave their kids if given the chance. Women try to find the few who aren’t garbage and incels get their panties in a twist that they aren’t the cream of the crop. So which is it? Are we supposed to be fucking everything that moves or ignoring all the LVM in the world? We can’t do both.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/20 04:32 PM

If this really is an epidemic my hope would be that the US ends its nuclear family obsession. Extended family households are where it’s at; it really does take a village to raise a kid and just leaving it to the parents alone comes with a lot of drawbacks (like the potential for single parenthood).

I’ve not met a woman who has never in her life dated a short guy, it’s really not that strict for the average woman.
