I think there's a fine line between moving things forward to sex and rushing the inevitable. I mean, what if the initial (rushed) sexual experience is sub-optimal due to the shared unfamiliarity between two people? It seems unlikely one would get a second date with someone who takes the only example available to them and finds it unsatisfactory. What if your intention is to make a genuine connection with someone while taking the opportunity to determine whether or not this is someone you wish to see further?
