A common response to males committing suicide 3x times as often as women is “That’s because men choose more violent & lethal methods”, with misandrist implications that it’s a result of men being inherently violent. In reality, studies show that even using the same less-lethal methods, men die more. There was a thing I saw on a number of my female friends Instagram stories earlier this year. It was a tweet saying how men kill themselves in violent ways because unlike women they are selfish because they aren't considerate to those who will find their bodies. And just like that, the male suicide social disparity made that much more sense. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 15/08/21 09:29 PM

Found this book for kids. Imagine the uproar, etc...I'm more of a lurker here, I don't actually like y'all that much even if I agree with the principals, but Disney Channel, a network marketed at mainly younger girls, had an adaptation of this and people didn't give a shit. Get em while they're young. Like you said OP, their would be absolutely ungodly outrage if the opposite existed. | /r/MensRights | 07/03/19 01:09 PM
Military draft: Judge rules male-only registration is unconstitutional | USA TODAYIt'd be pretty telling if people push for the abolition of it only after women were included. | /r/MensRights | 24/02/19 05:53 PM
Military draft: Judge rules male-only registration is unconstitutional | USA TODAYinb4 women who didn't give a shit about the draft before only now start talking about how it is wrong. That's how it always is. If asked, they'll say that no one should be drafted, but if left alone they would never show any support to the abolition of the Selective Service System. | /r/MensRights | 24/02/19 05:50 PM

Can we talk about why it's "offensive" to have products specific to Men?It's one nasty person on an Amazon review site. What is the benefit of posting it here, exactly? I mean, I agree, they're being irrational, but this isn't exactly on the same tier with a topic such as custody inequality. | /r/MensRights | 06/01/19 06:00 AM
