I’m not supposing anything. I doubt that will have any effect on policy decisions. You're contradicting yourself. If you doubt it will have any effect, it means you suppose it will not have any effect. Either way, your doubt illustrates the point of collecting the statistics. Actually having the information is the only way to determine it!

The idea that its "collective blame" is people missing the point - what's being objected to is that it distorts crime statistics. Its extremely rare for afab women to commit these types of offences, while amab women commit them at the same rate as men. So by lumping them all in as women's crime it hides the fact that almost all of these offences are committed by a group composing much less than 1% of all women.
