This sounds a LOT like PTSD. You've been overstimulated by a thing, and now anything that is remotely similar sets off the flight-fight-freeze response, kicking off adrenalin production and putting you on edge. I think the other commenters that suggest psychotherapy are on the right track. You can also check for PTSD support groups, or any other groups that help with coping with trauma.

The number of offenders shouldn't matter in the eyes of the law. ALL crimes are committed by a small percentage of the population, that doesn't mean that the penalties for crimes aren't/shouldn't be laid out in the legal code.

Can't speak for wherever in the world you're at, but here in the US (and Canada, iirc), meeting spaces for MRAs are invaded by counter-activists, emotional support groups/spaces are picketed or closed, and most of those places eventually refuse to allow the MRA groups to meet there since they have to make a living, and no sh*t, public assembly permits are denied or the organizers are required to post some prohibitively-expensive 'public safety bond'. It becomes a little hard to do more than cybe…
