What those men want is a system where one salary (traditionally the man) could support and provide for a family. You're actually conflating 2 issues. As far as "not wanting to do all the work", what men are saying is that they don't want to be nothing more than a resource for women. They want reciprocation. That USED to be a woman would tend the home and raise the kids because she didn't have to work. And now women work, make their own money, yet still expect men to pull the bulk or all of the f…

TRP is simply learning the cold, hard truth. MGTOW, Black Pill, etc are all the different paths and reactions to the truth

You've got it backwards. Men become redpilled/MGTOW a lot of times directly because no one listens to them. Men see that their opinions don't matter, or they're called insecure or toxic for enforcing boundaries and having standards, and they simply wash their hands of the situation and walk away.

Proof again that nobody cares about men's struggles. We're constantly told to consider how things in society impact women, but nothing is considered about how things impact men. And, for the record, I agree with you and OP. There's a definite difference in perception around cheating in men vs women, creating a difference experience.

"So this whole 'Women can get laid anytime they want' line isn't really an advantage because it assumes all sex is interchangeable." You're considering a straight male having sex with another male as "interchangeable" with having sex with a woman. Why can't everyone just accept everyone's sexuality? The same way gays and lesbians don't want to be told to just consider hetero sexual encounters as an option, straight men don't want to be told to just consider sleeping with men. It shouldn't be an …

That's what I understand is happening. Whether or not its right or wrong is up to you to decide for yourself. OP asked what was happening and I gave my viewpoint on what was happening, not on whether its right or wrong.

Social norms give us ways of behaving to where we all know what to expect of ourselves and of each other. Im not dictating what those norms should be here. But as a matter of simple function, a healthy society needs norms, and men are simply trying to establish telhe old norms as opposed to the new "progressivism"

I second that. Nobody takes into account that men are way easier to finish yet we still hear many men testifying that women are generally lackluster in bed lol. I think we both have room to complain but nobody cares about men's complaints/problems

"If you can't read the signs that's your problem." No, that's women's problem. First of all, you just admitted that the signs are subtle. Are traffic signals subtle? No. Each light means exactly what it means for a reason. Also, society not only failed to teach a generation of women how to give any sort of clear signals, it's also doubled down on berating young boys with the idea that they should not even bother approaching women, and to not read into anything. "Just because she did/said X doesn…

If you're talking about initial attraction, you mostly right. But people often downplay how attractive a woman's personality can be, or how unattractive. And I don't like this notion always that a woman just has to be attractive and she's in. She can be physically attractive but boring or rude or whatever and that's a deal breaker. Personality absolutely matters to men.

I remember when women were whining and complaining that pickup artists were toxic and men should stop listening to them. Then they proceeded to mock men who didn't know how to approach them. Now they're begging men to make the effort to approach them at all. You can't make this stuff up. It's like at no point do they realize the part they play in anything.

Do you think it's a good thing Bonnie Blue and Lily Philips are being normalized to young girls? Do you think it's good that boys and men are so addicted to porn they're experiencing erectile dysfunction? Is it good that marriage and birthrates are plummeting? Regardless of the 1950's, do you really think society today is running in an optimized and sustainable way? You really think we couldn't use a bit more restraint and conservatism in certain areas?

The problem is that women have exposed the game they play. Men know that while women make one guy wait, there are guys women will sleep with instantly, same night, and not play games with. If there was a blanket standard that every man expected and knew he would have to wait, men wouldn't have as much of an issue with waiting. Guys just don't want to be the guy who took you to dinner and dropped you off at your doorstep, when they know there's a guy you texted right afterwards that you were fina…

I think you fleshed out my answer for me. Pandora's box has been opened and all hell is lose. I'd like to go back to a time when there were clear rules, etiquette, and expectations in dating. We've focused so much now on giving everyone the freedom to do what they want, that there's no clear understanding on how anything should work, and dating is chaos. And to be clear, back then, dating was subject to rules and social norms etc. People dated and followed them. If you didn't, it was agreed by s…

I've seen so many people say it's easy to please a man just by being his peace, being encouraging, some people add knowing how to cook and mind the house, etc. I never see anything about being interesting. And I always wondered to myself, should men be ok with a boring, uninteresting woman if she can do that other stuff? Is it too much to ask that she be able to hold a decent conversation, have a personality, God forbid maybe have some charisma?

One criticism I'll make is "slime" isn't the best word to use in describing the average working man. That said, I actually find this to be a GREAT post. It actually ties into something I've been meaning to ask here for awhile, but wasn't sure how to. I'll get to that another time. The gender war is a cultural issue though. That's part of the "shift." Men and women are both talking about they're choosing to stay single because they can't find anyone worthwhile. And they're currently at war over what makes the other worth marrying.

Yes they are. You're "X-phobic" if you aren't attracted to this certain thing. "You just can't handle a woman with X-characteristic." "Real men like X-type womenm" They always try and shame men into finding something attractive.

Women have the most options when they're younger. A man wants to feel like he was her first option, her best choice. He wants to be chosen out of all the other dudes she could have had. We know your options dwindle when you get older, and some men feel like they're settled for. Nobody wants that. Besides, a good man, a GOOD one will grow with and cherish his woman. Men want a woman to chose him when she's young and beautiful and could have had anyone, and in return, a GOOD man will love her and …

I don't have Twitter or Instagram or Tiktok, but I've seen too many videos of women on there complaining about dating in their 30s.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/24 02:06 PM
1

Let me rephrase. Maybe not regret, but they realize how hard dating is in their 30s. They're sad that all the guys seem to want is to hook up, and that the only guys who seem nice and decent aren't their type and they're not attracted to. They want the top tier man, slightly older than them, to commit. Those guys are mostly going after...women in their early to mid 20s. They regret the dating scene they walk into.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/24 01:35 PM
2

Then why do so many women regret it later? Like you said, "WOMEN DON'T CARE." Then they get older and realize they should have. And this isn't even me hating women. The best thing we can do is be open and honest about how a lot of men view the world, so they can make informed decisions and not find out the hard way later.

Just because women don't understand the value of their youth, doesn't change the fact that men value youth in adult women. This is actually the exact point men have been trying to make. Women in their early 20s do not understand the value of their youth in men's eyes, so they will waste these early years chasing guys that demonstrate no valuable qualities and offer no commitment, simply because those men are hot, OR they'll waste their youth having fun or chasing a career, and not prioritizing s…

Different things appeal to men and women. That's a a lesson Hollywood is learning the hard way. It's not men avoiding feminine things to not seem gay, it's because it simply doesn't appeal to them. That's why trying to make everything more female friendly is failing. They've forgotten the idea of the target audience.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/24 12:12 PM

Oh I 100% agree. But you can only say so much before you're "misogynistic." You have to lay out the pieces and let people put it together themselves, then it's harder to deny. My next question would have been "Can you think of any specific movements in the last 50-100 years that were aimed at changing relationship dynamics between men and women?"

I think the problem is that there are no more standards. It used to be that we had standards around sex and relationships. Unfortunately, both men and women couldn't find those standards mutually agreeable anymore. Add to that, the introduction of technology and online dating, and massive changes to how we socialize. If we could find some sort of mutually agreeable standards for sex and relationships that worked for both men and women, we'd fix all this. But that seems to require a host of compr…

Having game just refers to knowing how to talk to/date women. Whether or not a man tricks a woman is that guy's personal choice. It just so happens that the guys who trick women, have the opportunity to do so because they have game in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/24 05:03 AM

"Depends on how attractive he is, doesn't it." Now we're getting somewhere. Think back to what I said before, about how women's standards aren't matching up to how attractive THEY are. That's men's complaint. That's basically my whole point right there. Men are saying that women are not basing their standards relative to themselves, so much that men feel like all the women on their level are looking down on them for not being the "higher" level attraction man. Most women today will ONLY consider…

Do you think that every man who's attracted to large breasts, round butts, etc, ONLY dates women with those attributes? Let me pivot, actually. We can all agree that we find some people more attractive than others, no matter what our standards. What men are saying is that only the most conventionally attractive of men, with a pretty identifiable set of traits, are being considered attractive. Most average guys will date a wide range of women looks wise, DESPITE what his ideally attractive woman …

Attraction causes men to approach. The point I'm making is, men's argument isn't "Women should date men they are not attracted to." What men are saying is that if women were more reasonable and realistic, they would be attracted to more men. That's why in most videos you'll hear men trying to make women aware of some sort of double standard or logical fallacy. For instance, why judge a man for his height, but men can't judge women for their weight, especially since you can change your weight but…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/24 06:07 AM

What men are saying is that women's standards for attraction have become skewed, and also imbalanced. Also, people in general have become more fickle with the perceived abundance of choice. Women have way more choices though, so in general they're being even more fickle about what is and isn't attractive. There's a comically long list of "icks" or basically turn offs that different women say disqualify a man, demonstrating a wild number of standards practically impossible to navigate.

Imagine if there was a system designed to make a man demonstrate value and commitment to a woman before having sex with her. I think that would weed out a lot of guys who didn't have their best interests in mind. Matter of fact, more guys would probably strive to be the type of upstanding man a woman would want🤔🤔 Naaaah. As per usual, it's completely ignoring the possibility that there's anything women can or should do to help improve the state of modern dating. It's completely ignoring all the problems and complaints that men have about modern dating, which is one of the problems of modern dating in a nutshell. Modern dating honestly has things all wrong. Men absolutely get attached to women, but modern dating is set up so that you avoid your feelings as long as possible and just have as much sex as you want because sex is healthy and doesn't mean anything...until the moment you want it to. Pretty privilege. It happens to both sexes, but for the sake of discussion, we'll talk about men here. Men give attractive women more leeway and more preferential treatment because they find them attractive. Women they don't find attractive get the basic decency anyone else would get. Many men know women go through their "phase" as you just admitted, but those women come out on the other side of said "phase" older, with emotional baggage, and sometimes kids, and at this point they demand, yes, demand, MORE of men, than they demanded of the players when they were in their prime. I don't think men are generally concerned with women's accomplishments. What we want women to bring to the table so to speak is their demeanor, and I'm sure we'd appreciate it if you'd cook and clean, and help with stuff like that. Men want a woman who is pleasant, cooperative, appreciative, willing to at least contribute in some way and not just use us for our resources. We want someone we can enjoy being around.

I think women find it offensive because they haven't been socially reinforced to offer anything to a man. Society has just been telling them to chase their dreams and demand the world from men, so the concept of actually having to provide something in relation to what they're demanding and in relation to the competition in the market is a foreign concept. I think that if men knew for certain that this rule was being applied fairly and evenly, they would have no problem with it. The thing is, a man can be dating a woman, and she could be making HIM wait, while she's having sex with another man. Men have been in a situation where a woman is dating someone, but he hasn't had to date her in order to have sex with her. That created the realization that women will make some men "follow the traditional rules" while other men don't have to. And those men…

🔥🔥🔥🔥 If you don't believe in religion, you can at least look at it as a collection of fables aimed at guiding and building character and positive morality. There's clear teachings, rules, and structure on how to conduct yourself and be selfless and contribute to the greater good. I'm looking for the perceived benefit of where society is heading without it, honestly.

This is the point I keep trying to make and it just never seems to click. We had this all figured out decades ago, but NOOOO. Rules were too "oppressive." There's no coincidence that almost every time women want to enact social change on their behalf, one of them suggests a SEX STRIKE.

To answer your question of how we got here, we used to have rules, standards, and societal norms around how dating should go. Everyone knew what to expect, and everyone knew what was expected of them. Unfortunately, some people found this to be too oppressive, and sought to be liberated from such a system. This didn't come with a healthy reevaluation of the rules. There was no thought put into what worked, and why. Slowly but surely, all rules and norms faded. Now we're all liberated. And now we…

"Men want what they can't have, and once they get it, that's the ick." NO. You clearly demonstrate your misunderstanding right there. Either that or you contradict yourself in the same post, because what I said was the complete opposite of that. It's not about wanting what you can't have and being turned off because you got it. Not at all. It's about wanting two things in a situation, and knowing you'll accept one regardless.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/23 06:40 AM

Not necessarily. Comedy can be about pushing boundaries and joking about uncomfortable truths. It also can be about subverting expectations, it can be wordplay and banter, facial reactions, etc. You don't have to really risk offending anyone if you focus your comedy into those avenues.

Just because women aren't satisfied with the dating scene, doesn't mean it doesn't favor them. Problem is, women just aren't aware of or properly using the advantages handed to them. Long story short, secure a high value man when you're in your younger legal age years, and build a family and legacy with that man. Women's advantage is youth and beauty. Also, don't flood the market with easily available sex. Do you remember in America, when Roe v Wade was overturned, women suggested a sex strike t…

Passport bros do not love the female equivalent of those men. You're conflating. Women don't want "broke short guys with patriarchal beliefs." Correct. Women are going overseas to find the quality of man that they want. Passport bros are going overseas to do the same thing, find the quality of woman they want. So those women overseas aren't the equivalent of "broke short men" because the women overseas actually DO have the qualities those men are looking for. Broke short men are what's unattract…

Once again, women try and rationalize male behavior with no concept of the male point of view. If you have a guy who's looking for a relationship, and he goes on a few dates with a girl, and decides he's not into her for long term relationship, there's still a good chance he'll sleep with her. Why? Because he would have slept with her the moment he saw her, most likely. So in his mind, at the point where he's already invested time and money into dating, and finally convinced her to give him what…

I'm 6ft 1. I don't have to care about this issue, but I do. The hypocrisy always bothered me and I always bring it up because it's one of the clearest and most digestible examples.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/23 11:04 AM

That's not true. Women who date much younger men are cougars. Madonna gets praised for it. Keanu Reeves wife is much older than him and the media loves him for dating a woman past her prime. Meanwhile Leonardo Dicaprio is a "creep" for dating women until they're 25 and then swapping. And notice how HE'S in the wrong, but nobody calls those young women "creepy" or manipulative, just him. Even though they're adults who consented to be in the situation just like him.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/23 09:58 AM

The Red Pill community points out women's preferences because women don't seem to realize that they're being hypocritical. The point is women shame men constantly for our preferences, but don't realize they have preferences that society just accepts. This is just one small example. tall vs fat

Do you think drug addicts love drug dealers? You can consume something and understand that it's not good for you and that the people who produce it aren't good people. Hell, I like soda and fast food, but I know it's bad for me and that the people who make it have profit in mind, not my best interests. This is no different. And this isn't to say that porn stars and onlyfans content creators are evil or bad people. They're just providing a service that some would argue is objectively unhealthy.

At the point where I'm gonna be financially responsible for a child for 18 years, I have a right to know if it's mine. Paternity tests should 100% be mandatory. Men and women are different. Plain and simple. If women want us to accept that their lived experiences unique to womanhood affect their world views and how they operate, why can't they accept the same of men? Men will have sex with someone they find otherwise intolerable, because, for the most part, men don't have to like or know anything about you as a person at all to have sex with you, just enough that there won't be any potential immediate danger or repercussions. Not all men, of course. But…

The problem is that men are continually attacked and shamed for HAVING the preference. It's not like we wanna be out here explaining ourselves and justifying ourselves. It's that nowadays women don't understand or refuse to accept it because they've been preached at by feminism for so long, that when a man says he doesn't like high body counts, it's shocking and offensive to them. Women have been listening to everyone except men about what men want.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/23 06:19 AM

Women preach body positivity...for THEM. The majority of the body positivity movement is women just not wanting men to have any beauty standards and just date women no matter what they look like, all while, like you said, having the most rigid standards on men 🤣

Well, attraction is subjective. One person could be the hottest man alive to one woman, and ugly to the next. You follow your logic, no men will approach anymore because the risk is too high. This is exactly what we're seeing now. Men don't wanna risk being embarrassed simply because he wasn't a particular woman's type. He didn't do anything wrong, she just wasn't into him. That's madness.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/23 04:27 PM
10

It's not about being expected to be open to the advances. What most men are complaining about is that guys are being demonized just for approaching. If a woman's not interested in a guy who approaches her, it doesn't make him wrong for approaching. But today, he's treated like a villain just because. Women will embarrass men, mock them, shame them, or make damaging accusations of harassment etc JUST for him daring to appoach her. It's not right. You can reject someone without destroying them. An…

Women weren't allowed to have bank accounts, or basically make any financial decisions in the home. Divorce also was shunned. A woman's life was basically "Get married and have some kids or we're gonna shun you." Women have a mobility in life now that they've never historically had, an AUTHORITY over their own lives. That's fact. The manosphere is the reaction to it. You can argue whether or not the reaction is good, but the fact remains that it is the reaction to the societal changes in dynamic…

All I did was state how things were, and that they're not thst way anymore. It's a fact that women used to listen to men's authority, and now they don't. Women today demonstrate behaviors that aren't traditional, but want traditional men. Traditional women weren't promiscuous, or at least not open and proud about it. "How can men see the future?" Logic. He means that men saw the logical outcome of how things would progress if certain changes were made. It's as simple as asking yourself what will be the ramifications of this action, how can this go wrong, etc. A lot of societal norms that have been undone, the consequences were obvious to anyone who was thinking and not just "feeling." 100 years ago, women weren't encouraged to "have their fun" or have a "ho phase." They were encouraged to marry young and build a future. I wouldn't be surprised if the Bible said something similar. A lot of the Bible stories are allegory. Like Samson and Delilah. Samson was.the strongest man and his hair was his power. Delilah cut his hair and he became weak. The Bible was telling men not to let women change them, and to maintain their power, maintain frame. If you really read the Bible it predicts a lot of the consequences we're seeing today. Sodom and Gomorrah too from the Bible, societal decay from hedonism.

She's fat as fuck but outright says she won't date a fat guy and goes on to make fun of them. And she expects a tall handsome Tyrone. Ridiculous.

Wants to be serenaded like a 90s R&B song by some guy who doesn't even know her yet. And to top if off she's rude and vulgar. "...and a side of go fuck yourself "Good luck with that, lady.

"Women are struggling just as much as guys to find matches" BULLSHIT. Women get dozens to hundreds of matches. Women get more matches in 1 day than most guys get in a year. Problem is, women are infinitely pickier than most men. And because of that, the men that all women are chasing, the select few men, treat all women like women treat most men. Bottom line is they've made a certain select few men at the top so desirable that they can be as dismissive and have as high standards as women. And wo…

You're 100% missing the point. The point is fat women preach "beautiful at any size" but they're not attracted to fat men. It's a double standard. They just want hot guys to accept them for being fat. That's all it is
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen13/02/21 06:15 PM
12

It's honestly frustrating to see profiles like this. Just knowing that they can put no effort into their profile at all and still get dozens yo hundreds of matches. They don't even have to try and men will line up. Yet somehow they still can't find a good one. It's baffling.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen13/02/21 06:02 PM
33

That's changing. The problem is women won't settle for fat men because they've been told they deserve the best just for being a woman.

Thanks. That was pretty powerful. It reminds me of after I broke up with my ex a few years ago and started dating again. I dated these 2 girls and took them here and there and did all these nice things, and in the end neither of them worked out. Meanwhile my ex had been begging me to come and see her the whole time. I didn't because I figured if I went and smashed my ex and ended up serious with one of the girls I was dating, my ex could expose me all over social media. But once I was done datin…

I was literally JUST saying this on my post. I come to the main page and here's the proof right here. From now on I'm pulling up this article whenever someone comes at me with that fat acceptance nonsense. Women by and large will never accept the faults in us that they demand we accept in them. It's always a scheme to make themselves more desirable and increase their access to better men. Lower the bar for them and they'll hop over and raise it back on you
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen13/02/21 12:45 PM
1

Exactly. Idc what "fat acceptance" move the media is trying to pull, if we change society to where even out of shape hefty women are acceptable, all that's gonna happen is they're gonna start reaching for the top %of men too. Big women will look down their nose at men. We're already seeing it evidenced here. The fat acceptance will only go one way. "Chad and Tyrone please accept these female lamdmasses"
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen13/02/21 12:41 PM
5

Your typo of "food attitude" is priceless 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Anyway, like someone else told me, fat women used to understand the truth, that they were out of shape and at a disadvantage. Larger women used to cultivate a personality because their looks weren't comparable to in shape women. However, the last decade or so, the media has been telling women that they're "beautiful at any size." What you have now is fat women who think they're just as attractive as in shape women, and are now just as entitled and v…

Makes perfect sense. Sad. Shame exists for a reason and we as a society will be lost without it. Same as how women used to shame "sluts" because they recognized what women are finding out now the hard way. "Sluts" lowering the market value. Women can't hold out anymore and make sure a guy cares because he can just go bang another girl. And guys don't have to wait and demonstrate any value to women anymore because, well, he can just.go bamg.some other girl who'll give it right up. You can't flood…

I think this is one of the main problems with dating nowadays. What sexual liberation really meant was "I'm gonna fuck whoever I want, whenever I want, and hold different men to different standards for the same sex. And when I'm finished I'll settle down with the good guy I passed up before and make him meet demands that 100s of guys before him never had to." NOPE.

And it's further indication that a boy needs a man around. Even your female family will sell you out to post wall women and single moms. A strong male figure is the only one who'll tell you you deserve better. Women are all in it for the collective because they know it all reflects back on them as a whole. If they were smart they'd shame the thots back in line like women in the old days, insteadof try to coral dealing men into dealing with the nonsense. But hey, what do I know.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen09/02/21 02:50 PM

I'm 31 and my sis is 42. She says stuff like "You're at the age where the women you date just might have children. It's not about self worth." And another classic "You should date women 35-40. Women that age are more willing to accept and cherish a good man like you." The women around me are often a big red pill. It's proof positive that 1. Everything we're saying is true. 2. They know it's true. 3. They just expected us to deal with all their bullshit. Women aren't mad because we're wrong about…

"5 ft 6 but my attitude 6ft 5" Why do women think it's fun and quirky and/or in ANY way appealing to brag about their attitude? I'm genuinely curious. Is it meant as a warning? Well if you're aware enough to warn about it, then WORK on it. Nope. They'd rather just tell you and expect you to deal with it.

I'm 30 so I said 23-34 and he agreed. So here she comes with "Oh so that's what you want? Some 23 year old who hasn't gained a bunch of weight and who's young and hit? 23 is a whole different mindset. This thread is a revelation. I've been trying to tell my male friends lately that TRP isn't all bad, and I'm trying to use it to strengthen my character and make myself better with women. All they could see was the misogyny. And I admit, for awhile, I steered into the anger and misogyny of TRP, because I was a beta finally realizing how wrong I was about women and hating myself and them for "worshipping" them so long. I felt tricked from the whole "They say they want beta tendencies when really …
