Surely if it’s “degenerate” for women to have multiple sexual partners over their lives, then it’s also “degenerate” for men to do so. What’s your proposed solution? Go back to arranged marriages? I think there’s some confirmation bias clouding your observations. I’m a woman, I’ve been single most of my life (no hookups either), most of my friends are women, and at any given time roughly half are single. I think the Tinder thing gets way overblown too. The gender ratio is really skewed toward me…

The way you feel about FDS is the way women feel about TRP. TRP teaches men to view their partner as “the oldest teenager in the house.” How is that not toxic?

Socially awkward woman here. I know it can be easy to see dating through the lenses of certain cultural narratives when you don’t have a lot of experience. The majority of my friends are and have always been women though, and I can tell you that their experiences differ a lot from what you described above. Most didn’t have their first time with a fellow virgin, most of their first partners were pretty average guys, not “Chads.” And most didn’t get naked right away with these guys. There’s much m…

Well thanks for acknowledging that RP men do, in fact, value women as less than human. Fortunately for us, most men these days do see us as fully human. My dad asks me for advice. My brother has just as many female as male friends (and he’s a “chad”!). I have good friendships with men (all married/partnered). Don’t project your feelings onto all men. Finally, this whole bit about how male thirst ‘benefits’ women is mostly nonsense. Here are some things women invented, many while being treated as…

Haha that was actually the plot of 30 Rock episode. Can’t say I’ve ever found a guy attractive because he’s taken, but it makes sense that when you’re happy and confident, people respond positively.

It’s becoming more common. Got any evidence to contradict me?

Right. College is totally unrelated to job placement. s/ That’s why the majority of new doctors are female: https://www.athenahealth.com/knowledge-hub/practice-management/healthcare-future-female And that’s just one example. Women don’t dominate at colleges because of affirmative action. If you’d actually looked at the piece, women study more and get better grades. They’re more competitive. It’s accordingly harder for them to get into college now than men. That’s been my personal experience too.…

Oh please. Affirmative action is soon going to be for men. Women are already outcompeting them. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/who-benefits-from-affirmative-action-white-men/2017/08/11/4b56907e-7eab-11e7-a669-b400c5c7e1cc_story.html

No, never done this. I always prefer to pay for myself, but if the guy insists on paying then I try to pick up the whole tab the next time. I can think of one friend who does this and she is very vocal in rejecting feminism.

Unfortunately I don’t know. I’ve just seen this enough around these parts of Reddit to assume it’s RP doctrine.

I’ve definitely dated guys that some women would find unattractive. I’ve also turned down conventionally attractive guys. I’ve been rejected by both conventionally unattractive and attractive men. Compatibility is key and I don’t think it gets talked about enough here.

For me personally, it doesn’t matter. I’m a pretty independent person (whole family is like that), so any guy that is too much, too fast is just fundamentally incompatible. If I were, say, advising a friend though, I’d ask about/look for other red flags, look at any mitigating factors, and assess the risk that way. That’s just the best anyone can do. The rest comes down to individual’s feelings and risk aversion or lack thereof.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/20 03:39 AM

No, it’s a tactic used by abusers. There are plenty of “blue pill” men out there who don’t do it. Also, I’m not sure where red pill came into any of this?

This exactly. Too much too soon can be “love bombing,” a manipulation tactic that is often a red flag for an abusive partner. https://www.healthline.com/health/love-bombing#inappropriate-gifts

Why would any of the women your addressing want the kind of man who’s stuck in the 19th century?

You do realize that a large percentage of women staying at home during the 50s was a historical anomaly, right? The biggest middle class ever- thanks to low international competition in the wake of WWII. Poor women have always worked, and the vast majority of women throughout history have been poor.

Bingo. You can’t go shitting on women’s literature, hobbies, etc. and then also demand they be more feminine.

That doesn’t mean they’re the average women though. And I have also had access to the different women’s accounts over the years, going back to high school. And again, what kind of attention are non-models getting on social media? Other than likes from their own friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/20 06:55 PM

I think what you’re describing is more of a male fantasy than what online dating and social media are actually like for most women. First of all, who’s really getting all this attention on social media? Most of us aren’t Instagram models. I only let a few people follow me on Instagram and with only one or two exceptions they’re all women. My female friends don’t get tons of thirsty comments on their Insta pictures or DMs either because they also only let people they know follow them. And online …

No dice. Most marriages in antiquity were made for economic reasons. Attraction didn’t factor in: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.livescience.com/amp/37777-history-of-marriage.html And no, loads of men don’t define wife material that way. One example- a friend’s hookup saw one photo of me (with her) and declared me wife material. He never met me. Men and women aren’t that fundamentally different- women may be lower libido on average, but as with men there is a lot of variation among individuals…

But again, apply this to dress. What do you personally argue is acceptable?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/20 11:57 PM
2

But you think it’s fine for a man require his wife to wear a burqa, even though you think it’s unreasonable? The separation of the sexes is enforced in Saudi Arabia, and probably a couple of other governments. It’s also enforced by religious leaders in some religious groups I don’t believe relationships are like that, but you do. So why would you ever want one?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/20 11:56 PM
5

Oh, there’s a definite dichotomy. Historically, wives were for children only, and weren’t supposed to enjoy sex - “lie back and think of England.” Obviously the dichotomy has softened in modern times, but something that deeply ingrained in culture doesn’t just suddenly go away. Men still put women into “wife material” or not boxes- as frequently demonstrated in this sub. And expecting women to be completely sexual with one man and to never have any interest in any others doesn’t make sense. Are …
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/20 07:13 PM
2

You don’t see a problem with that? You’re really fine with women having to wear burqas? If relationships are that fragile, should non-related men and women ever be allowed to interact? And if they’re that fragile, why even bother?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/20 06:05 PM
2

So then what level of coverage is acceptable? Is a woman showing her shoulders non-monogamous? Ankles?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/20 05:58 PM
2

How is it a violation of monogamy? And then applying that definition to how a woman dresses, what styles of dress are non-monogamous?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/20 04:48 PM
2

You’re avoiding the question of dress. If stripping in non-monogamous because of what parts of the body are shown, then what constitutes monogamy in dress? Is it monogamous to show ankles? Shoulders? I don’t actually care what definitions people apply in their own lives, I’m just trying to follow through this line of thought.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/20 04:46 PM
2

How is it a violation of monogamy? And what about how a woman dresses- is that a violation of monogamy?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/20 02:21 PM
2

They’re not the same though. Sleeping with someone else is a violation of fidelity- plus has attendant risks such as pregnancy and STDs. Stripping is simply a way of supporting oneself. And the way someone dresses is a form of self-expression. Neither are mutually exclusive of fidelity. As for the second part, I’m just pointing out some hypocrisy/solipsism on the part of many of the men on this sub.

I get what you’re saying. Unfortunately, I think it’s the whole Madonna/whore complex thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/20 01:53 AM

Yeah, not quite the same thing. It just seems funny that I’ve seen men here complain about women wanting to change them or not accepting them for who they are but OP’s post indicates that men do the same.

But if her job bothers you... why not just find someone who isn’t a stripper?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/20 01:36 AM

But why would you want to marry a stripper if you don’t want your wife in the industry? Genuinely curious.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/20 01:16 AM

Not my response. When you tell a woman she rates assholes, what expect/want her to say?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/20 12:41 AM
2

That’s the implication of telling someone that they date assholes or that that’s their problem. What kind of response are you expecting in that situation?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/20 09:22 PM
6

Never dated an asshole personally, but women date assholes for the same reasons men date assholes. Sometimes the assholes are manipulative people who put up a good front to attract people. Sometimes the woman dating an asshole is an asshole herself and they belong together. Sometimes she has trauma or self-esteem issues that lead her into bad situations. Whatever the reason, “just don’t choose assholes” is useless advice, along the lines of “just be happy.” People don’t think, “oh, that person i…

This has been my experience as well. I can count on one hand the number of men who qualify as attractive per TRP standards that have had even a little bit of interest in me, and I’ve never been overweight. That’s fine by me, I just can’t relate to this concept at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/20 03:49 AM
3

Are TRP? They never seem very happy.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/20 02:58 PM
6

There’s no real difference between TRP and blackpill. Sure, they disagree on “solutions,” but they hold the exact same views on women and society - so it’s like 95% agreement. The implication of “enjoy the decline” is that society would be better off structured some other way. That naturally raises the question of what would be better - should women be forced to have sex with men they don’t want to have sex with? That’s what “enforced monogamy” - socially enforced or other - would essentially do…
