Despise is a very strong word, I'd like to think that this sub is more open minded to differing views, although I'm sure not everyone in it is. I'm honestly curious what you think third-wave feminism actually does for men though? What feminism stands for is a constant discussion on here, and unfortunately its one of those issues that it changes for every person, and has no concrete steady answer.

That's funny, I do work in a bar, and this is not the situation I see regularly. That shit gets pulled, it gets stopped quickly. Either you work in an extremely sleezy bar or like to exaggerate things grossly. Does this behavior happen? Of course, I'm not blind to that, but to say it happens everywhere all the time in every bar is hyperbole and exacerbates the underlying issues.

I think you're talking about a temporary protective order, a restraining order is what is used during the divorce for both parties. She had to have some kind of proof otherwise the courts wouldn't have granted it. That's.....just not true. Fraternities are social groups with housing (on lots of campuses at least) and thus are regulated by the school, or the IFC. So yeah, the school can definitely ban them. This whole thing is flat out ridiculous.

I'm sorry what? That child in no way, shape, or form was able to defend himself. Peterson is not a small person, and was also in a position of trust and authority to that child. If I was matched up against a girl, I'd be uncomfortable as hell. It's completely unfair to the male due to social stigmas, he's damned if he does damned if he doesn't. You can't compare co-ed football to co-ed wrestling. The contact difference alone is a huge gap. How is a male wrestler supposed to be comfortable against a female wrestler? What state was this? No state I know of does unisex wrestling....for obvious reasons. When I was in HS and wrestling, we had a completely separate team/lineup for the girls.
