It's disgusting that she had sex with a 13 year old. To be fair though, there have been many Maury episodes where female teens report having sex with older men and "rape" isn't mentioned either.

they can even hold their own views up as the definition and noone can prove them wrong. I'm by no means an expert on the men's rights movement, I'm only a college kid who wanted to complain about a teacher, but doesn't that statement hold true for MRAs just as much as for feminists? I mean, one guy can say "circumcisions are great, I like that I had one, and my son will have one too", and the next guy can protest them and call it genital mutilation. The point being that they're both standing up …

I don't think her downright hating men and worshiping other women is her issue. I just think that her views on gender and sexuality are archaic at best, and that she's using her teaching status as a soapbox for her views. Our class is mostly women, with about a 4:1 ratio, but I don't think your explanation is the case for none of the men commenting. There are very outspoken and opinionated people in that class, and I would have expected them to stand up rather than take notes.

Oh, I think I phrased that wrong, I meant that the fact that they exist out of necessity is sad: ie the fact that the persecution happens.

That's just it. Yes there are a lot more women in this field, but the core values of it are non-biases. It is not overly feministic, only overly female
