If you watched Idol this year Harry tried to be honest about what was wrong with performances. Somewhere in there I think someone told him to stop. I had high hopes, but I saw little improvement from anyone compared to previous seasons. I want Simon back on the show. I don't care if he's an asshole. He's a total dick about it often. Being a good chef takes a certain ethic. There's so much competition (who doesn't cook to some extent) that you must have a ridiculous drive to succeed. If you don't have that drive in you he's going to be a dick until you mold yourself into what he wants or get kicked off the show. 3	Gordon Ramsay slapped by woman, no repercussions for her actions From what I have seen, his TV personality is a gimmick. His UK shows are far more restrained than the US shows. Occasionally he drops the act and you see there's a normal highly ethical person in there. He's actually the good guy on Masterchef US, quite a bit different than on Kitchen Nightmares or Hell's Kitchen. I might be biased here.
