Recognizing a fundamental difference between my STBX and I.In my experience and based on the 50,000+ members on a separate sub, it seems most women with BPD are usually looking for BBD. They are also notoriously good at gaslighting you and making you feel like you’re never good enough. Thing is, you are good enough. It’s not about you, it’s about them and their lack of identity and the transactional nature of what they define as love. | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/04/22 02:57 AM
Im just ready for the next part alreadyGreat line: "Don't set yourself on fire to keep someone else warm". So fucking true and that was my biggest mistake. I know why I did though and I'm tackling that shit hard in therapy. | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/04/22 02:43 AM
Im just ready for the next part alreadyI'm out 4 months (2 kids 50/50). I've posted this before but you really ought to start reading A LOT about Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and codependency. Mine was BPD and near the end the same pattern. You're my soulmate, crying, helplessness then back to devaluation and blame shifting the whole mess on me being an abuser. The love bombing, the gaslighting, the porn star sex marathons then back to devaluation and depression. I could not resist still wanting to rescue and help her all at… | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/04/22 02:33 AM
Man are there days I want to video and post her behavior here.I wised up up and recorded everything. Same feeling. Thought nobody will believe me. It’s a man vs woman in a he said/she said battle with the man hating court systems, smear campaigns to friends etc…Her facade of a personality to those who aren’t close is far from what comes out in the privacy of the home in the confines of a relationship. The smear campaigns, cheating and abuse were too much for me. I still have flashbacks and get triggered with adrenaline easily. However, she now faces domest… | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/04/22 09:38 PM
Was it all fake?It very well could have been. Or it might have been real at first but her feelings were fleeting and she was just mirroring you in the beginning to get whatever validation she needed. Like many of us, you might have been interfacing with a facade that is simply baked into the wiring of how her personality operates. Research Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). You sound like someone who's been gaslighted for a while now. The more I read this sub the more it seems like the majority of the men o… | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/04/22 06:51 PM
Just like Clockwork (rant)You should research “Relationships Cluster B Personality disorders.”. It won’t make you feel better right now (maybe worse). However, it might explain you’re shock and awe for how things ended and it can allow you the information you need to process what happened so you can recover. I read a lot on this sub and I suspect a good 70-80% of the guys on here have been married or are still married to someone with NPD or BPD. Both of these disorders mirror many of experiences I read about on this sub. | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/03/22 01:29 AM
