It's foolish as hell to expect society to care for the emotional needs of the person. It's just unattainable.

A woman should be working on herself and then should she assess compatibility, the character and her attraction to the man. She should be smart about it. An ugly man is still a man, so is an attractive one. Everyone can be a bad partner. If you're spending time with someone and you're enjoying each other's company and you're committed, there's literally no reason to ask yourself 'why he isn't with his looksmatch'. He may think he's your lookmatch. Not all men are constantly on the hunt for Margo…

Almost all men would, sooner or later, dump a woman who wants to have sex with them but they don't like as a person. Very few desperate people would commit and sacrifice hours of their day every day for 30 min sex a couple times per week. Most people cannot sit through a movie they don't like and you are telling me they would fake a relationship.

I think most people (outside of this forum) know that one's attractiveness has nothing to do with their character. Attractive people could be good and ugly people could be mean. But if the pillers admit that, they have to confess that dating is chaotic for women. I am not saying that women should not be smart with dating but there's this false notion that they should pair with their look match and this would bring success.

Correlation doesn't equal causation. Just because X does Y and gets Z, doesn't mean that everyone can do Y and get Z. A bad person can be successful with women. A good person can be unsuccessful even if going to the gym, working on themselves, etc. Think of it as a job interview, you can have the qualifications but not get picked. It's luck. Aaand the issue could be your personality, too. Just because Brad Pitt gets away with something, doesn't mean everyone can. That's just life.

Yes, I think this post ignores the fact that there are a ton of attractive and decent people in a relationship. They hyperfixate on the negative outcomes but dating is a game of trial and error. Just because a couple got separated, doesn't mean the woman got pumped and dumped(not denying there are unmet expectations in one night stands but it's not always the case). Unless we talk about very attractive people like Brad Pitt, model looking like, 'date within your league' argument should be used w…

It takes two to tango. Why not place some blame on the men who sleep with them and lead them on?

It's funny how anti-feminists so vehemently argue that there are no women related issues or that women live life on the easy mode. Yet, they expect women to care about their mostly self-invented issues.

I checked and there's no official reason. It's a historical thing. One explanation from Eurofond is that women devote more time to look after dependants. Some of the countries also are post-Soviet and the rules just came from above. Please also note that most if not all countries plan to equalize the retirement age.

Again, people do not enter relationships for money. They do it for emotional reasons (there are some people who choose money over love, though). Wanting your partner to have stable income is pretty much a standard requirement and a different thing. You cannot have a family and feed it with nothing. Dating a broke person in this economy is a recipe for disaster. Most familes are dual income, either way. What I am saying is that the time of the higher earner is not more valuable. A top software de…

You're ignoring her moral argument. It is in my opinion the most important one. You do not go into a relationship for monetary value and judge how much the other person brings home. Your time is not more valuable just because you bring more money home.

SAHM's job for the first years of the kid's life is 24/7 with no lunch break and no pay, and whatever downtime you have, you spend on chores. It also takes away your sleep. It's way harder than 90% of jobs. What other job is 24/7? Of course, it's easy for you to complain and analyze a situation you've never experienced, but yeah pre-marriage, a woman must be a complete idiot to not have a full length discussion on chores.

I wonder if this is more about men judging other men for crying and/or creating scenarios in their head. I have seen several men crying in my lifetime and each time my heart ached for them. One time in public, an elderly man, everyone around was empathetic. . A man crying in front of you could be seen as a honour, showing vulnerability, creating trust. While women's tears are sometimes illustrated as a weapon.

Doesn't matter, pick one. What I tried to say is that the value of a person to society is multifaceted and cannot be reduced solely to their financial/professional contribution. Bringing gender into this is laughable, going into a date no one thinks well men pay more taxes so I owe it to society to breed!

What kind of unnatural stuff does Billy the software developer do that his gf Stacy the cashier doesn't? Or Sarah the physician and Michael the sales representative?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 10:15 AM

You are deflecting my main point. There were women with the capacity of Curie but were forced to give birth and work at the farms. Why are you hyperfocused on men's hunting skills and disregard women's contributions aside of reproductive abilities ? Are teachers not important? Are nurses not important? Why is it only men who built society and women are wombs?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 08:44 AM
4

How so 95 % of men built society and women take no part? So if I am a nurse and my partner is a software developer, who exactly built society? Did the 5 year old boy build it with his birth?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 08:17 AM

You're equating women's contributions to society to sex/reproduction. If that's not misogyny and entitlement, I don't know what is. Women are 50% of the population, taxpayers, caretakers, teachers, doctors, lawyers, nurses, cleaning personnel. Individual males should not say that 'men' create society and demand relationships from women just because e.g. Tesla was a man. Sharing the same chrosomes does not make you equal to the great men who are the pillars of society.

I will respond for the last time. The question asked was 'which of these best describes what you are looking for RIGHT NOW.' The reply is - I am not currently looking for a relationship or casual date This doesn't mean 'giving up'. Which further proves my point

It's not a 101 level fact. I have Googled and am still rejecting your statement. You're rejecting all the data that points that by age 25-30 3.9% of men are virgins. The PEW study says 1/3 of people (approximately) are not looking for a relationship which is different than giving up. And this is if you take the study as a gospel, one survey study does not equal truth for all people? Multiple sources are required. This is what the OP meant, Red Pillers are consistently misinterpreting data, make …

See, you're making a broad statement without any actual source. We can say that people are more lonely than ever and that more people are quitting dating, but if you make a sweeping generalization like that, make sure to have a source.

I agree with you that women receive more matches on dating sites and have it easier on dating sites. This is absolutely true. What I don't agree is a statement 'Women want only the top 20%', 'Women want only Chad'
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 09:03 AM

My favorite is the 80/20 rule that it's commonly translated as women finding only the top 20% attractive. 1) this was one OkCupid study 2) nowhere was it said that women swiped on the same 20 % 3) people often forget that there are 20% of women who did not swipe in this pattern

Additionally, the same dudes go to complain about the low birth rates. Single mothers are heroes for doing the hard work when the father decided to quit on their child. The child support they get is not a fortune, most of them barely get by.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 08:41 AM
2

You are missing her point. Creating a child takes two. The child is not a responsibility only of the mother. The government intervenes for the choices of both adults to have unprotected sex. Welfare is to offer better life for the child.

The issues they bring up are not new. Go to a gender neutral subreddit like Adulting, Millennial, Lonely, or even Tinder and you'll see many people sympathizing with men and recognizing their struggles.

There is indeed a small amount of women who will start a family at any cost. These are mostly traditional women who are already seeing sex as a duty. This is mostly due to patriarchal upbringing and seeing women who remain single as failures I personally have never observed this. To live X amount of years with a man you don't love sounds like a nightmare to me and I think very few people subject themselves to this.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/24 09:16 AM

Even if your argument were true, we still live in countries with free will. Realistically, everyone would prefer their own happiness over 'statistics'. Not to mention that most of the men who shame childless women are childless themselves. Do you practice what you preach? Why don't you go and impregnate a single mother and take care of her?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 08:53 AM

Notice how the post focuses only on women and their fault and responsibility. Blaming women for the declining birth rates is just another sexist argument to shame us into submission. The people who post stuff like this, go on and write how single mothers are subhuman and unlovable. If men are so concerned, they should try be being better fathers or vote for financial incentives for parents.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 08:46 AM

I think the tide has turned and most men are actually working on their physical appearance. That being said, they skip on improving their social skills, retain hostility against women, and remain unfit for relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/24 09:42 AM

Actually, most of the caretakers are women. You're basing your arguments valid for a small portion of the population and for a relatively short window of time. If what you said were true, no hot waitresses/McDonald cashiers/single mothers would have existed. A lot of women don't receive help with chores/caretaking especially because they are women.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/24 09:29 AM

You're the only one who mentions health issues. Thank you. The entire thread is pure envy and the 'grass is greener'. Attractiveness means nothing when one is sick and cannot recover. Most of the users here live in the USA too which is also a privilege on its own.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/24 09:06 AM

Untrue. Women are still the primary caretakers and do the majority of household chores on top of working. A mother is raising her children, a father is 'helping'.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/24 02:46 PM

This is the male perspective though. Almost always the woman does more in cleaning as she is the more knowledgeable but now she has an additional person to clean for. Groceries are also going up because I eat way less than my man but pay 50%.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 08:57 AM

It's not just that but also a stupid question that shows you have no social skills. Can you imagine going on a walk with a friend and asking them - what do YOU bring in the friendship?

The bigger issue is that they prioritize male attention over themselves. I think the term started from Grey's anatomy where the protagonist begged a married man to pick her. She ended marrying him which is OK. But if a woman continuously prioritizes a man over her, she is going to have no boundaries at all and will end up in an unhappy relationship because she hasn't learned to stand up for herself.

Your question is "What is it that women think that women should do if they are speaking to women who are still struggling to either date or find the kind of satisfying relationship they're looking for?" Why are you asking why her advice is focused on men? Well if you want to improve yourself to date your perfect match, you have to focus on them? This is different than the 'usual be the best version of you' advise. I didn't read all of the responses but what I would advise is: go to the gym, eat …

People forget dating is luck and trial and error. Most women hadn't friendzoned their husbands firstly, they just met them later in life. You can't sweep anyone you haven't met

I LOLed at the responses here, seriously. Most people cannot sit through a 2 hours and a half movie, yet they say, sure I will spend my lifetime with a person who bores me. That being a said, there's a difference between I am bored at the moment and I am bored of you. I do consider getting bored in a long term relationship a bs reason for a break-up but it's very valid in the dating phase.

Does this poster really believe this is the reality of 50 % of the population? Like how out of touch you could be? Most of the women work, take care of their families, get sick, recover, have responsibilities and have leisure time. Yes, women have an easier time obtaining sex on apps but being treated as a sex doll is not something we dream of. And the percentage of women who are on a dating app is small. You can't judge women as a monolith just because an older woman may get laid easier than an…

Women have been told the same thing when they complain they can't find a decent guy. A lot of women do sports, read books, go to therapy, and invest in their education/career so they can be the best version of themselves and be a decent partner.

Thank you for commenting on the year of the study. With the inflation, I seriously wonder how can an average family survive on one income? Part time jobs are also rarer where I am and anything else other than 40 hours, actually.

Thank you for the good response. Notice, how he didn't say people are bad at marriage, but rather women. Because women are to blame for everything ofc. Edit:Most of the PPD users have little to no relationship experience so it's pointless to have discussions with them. They cannot comprehense women as people.

No offense but you look like a person who was read a book on relationships. Monogamy is not the one and only requirement for a relationship, it's the bare minimum. And sorry to break it for you, but there are a good looking people with options who are loyal and kind. A real relationship takes work and if you choose a pos who would cheat at first opportunity, you value yourself as a nothing more than a hole. Normal people are not afraid of competing with the options of their partner.

50/50 is very hard to achieve when kids are involved. It will be always the woman who will take more responsibilities within the household. The reality of 50/50 within a family is a woman who works and does most of the chores with a man who works and 'helps out' or 'babysits' from time to time. 50/50 within a relationship is easier to achieve but when a couple starts to live together again usually the woman takes more household chores due to gender roles. She can usually handle it until the kids…

Aren't men voting for this laws, though? Aren't women paying taxes, too? Isn't child support for a kid who had no say on coming to this world? What are your solutions for this? No social support for single mothers/women/victims of abuse?

What is there to discuss here? You are describing the personal lives of actual living people and are using these to describe 'a wave of attractive hit forty singles'. Maybe these women struggle with something you don't know about? There have always been people who've never married and it's pretty shitty thing to poke a finger in their lives and put them in a discussion thread.

It's possible to have a discussion if you agree rhat women are to blame for everything.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/23 02:09 PM

Not having sex may not be your choice but mysogyny is, so yeah, there's a difference. You can not get laid and not blame all women. Women don't like mysogyny. At least Chad is hot and an asshole. Incels are ugly and assholes but they think they are nice. There are people who genuinely have no luck but incels are not them.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 01:33 PM

There are many average/below average looking men in relationships, in their 20s. Just go outside and look around. Birth rates are declining but still most people start a family. You don't have to be anything for a woman, but she doesn't have to like you. No one owes you anything. Healthy for both on a first glance.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 01:28 PM

Most of the incels hang in the alt-right wing circlejerks as per my observations. That's why Reddit massively bans them. Being an incel doesn't lead to homophobia, however, most of them are misanthropes, already. They don't see women as people. Hell, they don't see Chads as people, either. Understandably, such incels are outsiders. Women have no obligations to be nice/sleep with them. Incels pretend to be nice for an hour, on a date. Again, I am aware there are good guys who can't get a relation…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 12:55 PM

I agree with you. There are a lot of angry young men who think women only like 'Chads' failing to see how many couples of normal looking people there are. They refuse to take a look at themselves and blame 50% of the population instead. I think there should be a distinguishment between a 'forever alone' guy and an 'incel'. There is a significant amount of men that are indeed suited to be in relationships, are good people, work on themselves, but get rejected and remain alone. They should not be …

No, you are missing the point. If the woman is the one doing all the cleaning, cooking, taking care of the children, she is not relaxed, she is stressed. Especially, if she is not a SAHM. And she is not the child, you are.

Lol at taking care of the children being 'simple'
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 11:13 AM

You can't let a woman relax if you are not actively involved in the cleaning/cooking/grocery shopping/taking care of the children. Is she supposed to be a stay at home mom? Are you talking about a situation in the dating phase or marriage? Because you can't treat a woman like a child if she is your wife and partner in life.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 11:11 AM

No woman of quality wants be with someone who treats her as a child. How can you start a family with someone who you treat as a 'child'? Do you know how much of household tasks there are outside of 'bills and paper stuff'? Do you know how hard it is for modern woman to raise a child?
