Why do you care? And how is it a bad thing?

our birth and marriage rate is plummeting. Legal prostitution would exponentially increase that drop. I sure as hell hope so.

More likely they eyed the message, didn't understand, and moved on without caring. We always love to think that these epic burns get through to the other person and make them reconsider themselves to some extent, but most people willingly lack such self-awareness.

It’s a societal illogical thought that breast’s are sexual parts. No it's not. A human that has breasts is also supposed to be capable of bearing children. Evolutionarily speaking this is one reason why they are sexually attractive. It's the exact same with hips/ass.
/r/PussyPass17/03/20 05:18 PM

Women with larger hips tend to be more suitable for producing offspring. Humans natural tendency to like them has just shifted into some weird obsession rather than a way of telling mates apart.

I’d get it if it was like, don’t sexualize breasts, should be able to go shirtless like a man, etc I wouldn't, because that makes no sense.

From the description: woman got beaten up after threatening a man to infect him with coronavirus in a supermarket in china, the woman kept bumping into the man in front of her in the queue. he told her to keep her distance because of corona virus fears. the woman threatened to infect him and tore off his face mask. -little bit of happiness

I just don't think there's an objective basis for that, as playing around with semantics doesn't affect the underlying reality - that it's the killing of what's biologically a human being, although in a very early stage of development. I can see why someone would consider a fertilized egg as not being as significant as it is months down the line, but it could still be considered a living human being.
/r/MensRights16/02/20 06:03 AM

We disagree on the basic assumption that a fetus counts as "living" before a certain amount of time. 'Living' in this context is completely meaningless. A fetus is in-fact living, or else there would be no possibility for 'abortion', it wouldn't become anything if it were dead. How else would you define 'living'? Whether or not it's a human being? Well by definition it is a human, it has it's own unique set of DNA, and there's no particular reason to think that it's not a person just because it'…

You have no idea how this works do you? It doesn't sound like you know the meaning of a healthy relationship. You shouldn't hold a relationship together through fear and violence, that's not a long-shot from slavery if they feel they can't leave you for that reason. If someone betrays you, you stop talking to them, end of story. You don't go club them like a neanderthal, that's how you end up in jail or hurt by someone that finds out. you are because youre imagining a strong man murdering a woman with extreme brutality. You're not a great psychic. I'm not imagining a woman or man particularly, if anything I would picture a man being assaulted, because that's what's most relevant to me. i do not realize it because it is not correct, if youre a retard like that woman then maybe you could cause permanent damage but if you know how to punch you will achieve your goal with no problems. saying that only violence justifies violence shows how inexperienced you are, if someone were to murder my whole family and get away with it he never inflicted violence on me but i am obliged to beat him. No, you're not. You may get a lenient sentence for doing that considering the psychological trauma that having your whole family murdered would cause, but even then only harm can come of attacking someone when you don't need to. This 'obligation' is something in your head, it isn't an objective…

Don't cut yourself of that edge my dude. Where exactly do you think I was trying to be edgy? You're the one trying to criticize everyday language and call people names, lmfao. Why would you call a man "man", but a woman "female"? Not only it's not grammatically sound, it's usually to downplay the "female" side. It'd be the same as women calling man "males". What the hell are you talking about? What exactly put this idea in your head that I call males 'men' and females 'females'? It's perfectly s…

Then the police will have the obligation to arrest and charge you, and your "friend" should feel obligated to punish you with a lawsuit on top of that. Violence solves absolutely nothing, if you feel obligated to assault someone for hurting your feelings, then you have serious problems.

youre imagining woman as frail small children who die from a beating No...I'm not. This has nothing to do with women in the first place. i would suggest the amount of violence that you would use in a bar fight or when you and your friend get into a fight You realize that it's very easy for people to die or be permanently disabled as a result of being violently attacked right? what the woman in the video did was excessive. Nobody has any obligation to OTHER people's relationship agreements. It's the couple's duty to keep their promises to each-other, no one else. The idea that someone should be punished simply for being romantic with the wrong person is just awful, the only punishment necessary is locking whoever it is that acts violent like that in prison.

You think that someone 'dishonoring' you justifies physically damaging their bodies and possibly murdering them? That just sounds like insanity to me, and it's not an opinion I can respect whatsoever. There is no such thing as honor. If someone hurts your feelings by betraying you in a relationship, it's simple: stay away from them, break up with them, or at least make it very clear that you're not okay with that. There, now you can feel like the bigger person. If the only thing holding your rel…

Lol...I'm going to continue saying male and female as synonyms for man and woman. I don't buy this 'dehumanizing' crap. The fact is that there are male humans, and female humans. There is no such thing as 'a female'. Calling women 'females' is the same as saying 'female humans'. Okay? You didn't comprehend my comment at all, huh? leave her for someone who respects your boundaries You seem to think that you get to beat up people as a result of cheating, which really would just to the world how much of a bitch you are.
/r/PussyPass11/02/20 12:59 AM

A relationship where people betray each other's promises is a failure. And If you think that you have a right to criminally batter someone who sleeps with your wife, then you are absolutely a failure when it comes to relationships and basic human decency. Nothing ignorant about that. Don't try to frame this as me saying that simply being cheated on makes you a failure. A man who sleeps with someone else's wife has hardly done anything wrong, they have absolutely no obligation to not do that.
/r/PussyPass11/02/20 12:06 AM
2

Then they'd both be pretty horrible for staying in a relationship defined by violence and betrayal
/r/PussyPass10/02/20 11:46 PM

It's even worse to attack someone who sleeps with your wife imo.
/r/PussyPass10/02/20 11:40 PM

You're the idiot for thinking that someone HAS to be clubbed in this situation. The answer would be to try and fix your relationship, or leave her for someone who respects your boundaries(assuming there was any agreement on what constitutes cheating). This is a very neanderthal level of thinking you're displaying.
/r/PussyPass10/02/20 11:38 PM

You're going to take your anger out on an innocent person just because he proved how much of a failure you are in your relationship? That fucking pathetic man. I know you probably think this makes you a 'man', but it really just shows how weak and insecure you are.

Yeah it's fucking weird how everyone including the woman he was interacting with act like they're invisible while this dude gets messed up right there.
/r/PussyPass10/02/20 11:34 PM

Sometimes basic flirting or even just being friends with someone of the opposite sex can be considered cheating, on the other hand there are many who are okay with their partners flirting or having sexual relations with other people. If someone gets this idea in their head that there are objective rules that you can't break in any circumstance otherwise you are the lowest of the low, then they can turn out to be dangerous people like the woman in the OP.
/r/PussyPass10/02/20 11:31 PM
0

My point is that someone acting romantic with someone who isn't their partner isn't a justification for violence, no matter what. It doesn't make a difference to me if they're a man or woman. I feel completely justified in saying that anyone who acts that way is a dangerous, violent raging ape of a person. Including the woman in the video, and the guy I was responding to if he acted that way as well.

Isn't it weird how people almost never discuss what exactly constitutes 'cheating' in a relationship? They just assume that there's some objective list of rules about what you can or can't do with other people while in a relationship, and even though you probably never discussed them, you still feel justified in committing extreme violence over what's essentially a cultural standard. I don't know if they had clear set boundaries, you could argue that it's implicit, but violence is never justifie…

/r/PussyPass09/02/20 09:43 AM

Be a man and go to jail, then spend the next months or years thinking about how much of a man you were because you just had to defend your pride and 'knock that bitch the fuck out'. You know, it doesn't take any intelligence or manliness to wail on someone who attacks you. You alone suffer the consequences of being violent just because your ego is hurt. Obviously attacking her back wouldn't have solved anything unless it was to stop the assault.

You seriously think that letting mobs of people decide someone's fate is better than the legal system? I guess that's a reasonable position to have if you feel that you never have, and never possibly could, do something that enough other people think is morally reprehensible. Feminists and their 'male-allies' love to shit on men and hold them responsible for 'objectifying' and depicting attractive women in media. Saying it's unrealistic and bad in some way. This shows they're hypocrites in some capacity. The one in the middle at least is very much involved in that idea. I don't know about the others.

Often times it must be insecure women who lack self-awareness to such an extent that they base their political opinions around their poor self-image. Then end up thinking that it's actually a bad thing to showcase women who look how they want to be, instead we should redefine beauty to be how they perceive themselves. It's a very shallow way to look at the world.

I don't see this incorrect statement you're talking about. They're talking about violent crime, specifically per-capita. Btw, downvoting someone's reply to you before responding isn't a good way to go about discussion on Reddit.
/r/MensRights16/12/19 10:55 PM

That's such a senseless argument. Even if the per-capita crime-rates was the same(they're not), wouldn't it make sense for white people to commit the most crime since they're the majority of people in the country? I don't see what the point of that statement could possibly be even if blacks weren't over-represented in crime.

Instead of being condescending and stating "there was nothing good in it" an explanation that properly refutes the comment he was responding to would have been more appropriate. It's an opinion without facts.

You're comparing me to Joseph Stalin? That's cute. Atheism is absolutely not a fallacy, I don't think you know what a fallacy is. And I'm far from single-minded, I was born into a family that indoctrinated me with their religion and the fear of an eternal hell. I've tried time and time again to believe in the Catholic god, and every time the critical-thinking in my mind wins out. Once again, you're projecting your closed-mindedness onto me. Notice how you can't respond to my other comments about…

Like I said, there's no such thing as 'fanatic atheism'. Atheism is: a lack of belief in deities. Nothing more. There is no room for fanaticism in that definition. Your god is a joke by the standards set in this comment. Why would god create me, but also damn me to an eternity of suffering because he decided to 'misguide' me? You're blinded by your cult, and projecting that blindness onto others.

So you were created in god's perfect image, but god commands that you cut off a part of your body? Why would god insist that you cut off something that he gave you? And furthermore, why would there ever be a need to cut anything off if the human form is 'perfect'?

fanatic atheists Atheism is, in the broadest sense, an absence of belief in the existence of deities. A "fanatic atheist" is an oxymoron, as in it's a contradictory statement - there is no such thing. And like I said, where I'm from forced piercings aren't something I've seen happen much at all, and either way it's not relatable.

A lot of it outside of religion is the idea that many women have is that "uncircumcised penises are disgusting" and men supporting it saying "no woman will ever want to go near that thing". So women do play a significant role in perpetuating this where religion isn't a major factor.
/r/MensRights05/12/19 03:27 PM

You think he's being serious? Really? It's supposed to sound outrageous, but you're also supposed to connect the dots(already done for you) to show that circumcision is similarly obscene and ridiculous. No sane person wants female circumcision, these satirical analogies are not going to bring it back. It's supposed to show that both these things are terrible and senseless. Given that it's an analogy it sounds pretty reasonable to me if not taken literally(as nobody should).

Here's how Olga Khazan of The Atlantic frames this: When their manhood is threatened, men react by doing less housework. The only exception? Meal preparation. For some men, these are scary times. Men lost jobs in the recession, and women outnumber them on college campuses. (Some are predicting, in fact, that we’re witnessing the end of men.) As I’ve written, one way some men are responding to their slipping place in the social hierarchy is by supporting Donald Trump, whose rhetoric hearkens to a…

In fact I'm sure there are feminists or whatever that would blame stuff like that on 'toxic masculinity', because it's men's fault for holding women to ideal standards. And if a man insults another man's appearance, then that'd also be 'toxic masculinity', because everything can be framed as men's fault if you use that term. I know you're joking but that's just a thought I had about that.

I wouldn't do the same because I'm not a violent person and I don't want to go to jail, but yet people still act violently when pushed enough. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt rather than getting angry and saying what they should or shouldn't have done based on assumptions. Violence sucks, but it's a lot harder to feel sympathy for someone who gets knocked out when they're the one who struck first, and second, and third, etc.

/r/MensRights29/11/19 12:10 PM

Everyone has a breaking point, there's no telling what exactly led him to do that. This implies that he should have been able to 'get over it' like a 'normal person' who isn't 'mentally fragile'. If you take out the words 'mentally fragile' the subtitle would be just as informative, using those words that have negative connotation was completely unnecessary.

Calling him that implies that if he wasn't 'mentally fragile'(weak) that he would have had the 'strength' to handle the abuse that woman put him through without reacting the way he did. The connotation implies weakness, which is generally seen as a bad characteristic. If they had said he was 'mentally ill' or simply not called him any names at all then it would have been much more appropriate.
/r/MensRights29/11/19 12:01 PM
1

Mentally fragile implies the person is just weak and can't handle what normal people could. Someone who is not fragile (weak) can develop mental health issues from being separated from his children. Basically mental health issues implies a cause while mentally fragile is just calling him weak and doesn't indicate any reason for it other than that he is just a weak person. -/u/Becki_Minaj

Sure, I think that in this particular case the question may be whether or not it's harmful overall to condition men to hide their emotions, or to only show 'masculine' behaviors like aggression. Maybe it's a conditioned response to channel high levels of acute stress into anger rather than releasing it/easing it through crying? My perception is there's a gender difference in how people typically respond to those feelings. That's why I brought that up. Anger is often destructive. Depending on the context, it can qualify as 'manipulation' just as much as saying 'ouch' when you're physically hurt is you trying to manipulate others to feel sorry for you. But I feel like either way it's a lot easier for women to cry, and that combined with social acceptance makes it easier for manipulative women to use it in that way.

Doesn't matter if bad things were done to her, she isn't a victim for what happened here. There's no need to be an apologist. The blame is all on her. She's a psychopath, and a serial child-murderer. She deserves the worst legal punishment that society offers. Any chance for her to be released is a sick joke.

I've seen some of these child-murder apologists minimize/excuse it by saying that she was abused by her husband. The worst of them even praise it like in the OP.

what this sub does is look at her and then shove aside all feminist issues Not necessarily. You can criticize feminists/feminism without claiming that it's already perfect to be a woman and they have nothing to complain about at all. It's somewhat analogous to Muslims saying that you can't criticize Islam based on suicide attacks, violence, and forced conversions etc. etc. because anybody who does those things are 'not true Muslims', as Islam is a 'religion of peace'. A dictionary definition of feminism: Belief in or advocacy of women's social, political, and economic rights, especially with regard to equality of the sexes. Equality by this definition is secondary to women-specific issues, that's why it's called 'feminism' and not 'egalitarianism'. But people take that and interpret it into many different things. Neither they, nor you are an authority on what being a 'feminist' actually means, or who is or isn't one, because that's called 'gatekeeping'(throug…

an ideology believing in the patriarchy can indeed not be equal [feminism agrees with you on that one]. Uh, no? Feminists definitely believe in the patriarchy. But you also think to take down patriarchy, men must be seen as the enemy [feminism disagrees on you on that one] That's what they're arguing against, not what they believe. So are you pro-patriarchy and openly admitting that you are against equality? No, he clearly doesn't think there is a patriarchy, but I'm sure you know that. feminist…

Part of me feels it's the 'male disposability' angle. I think the public would be far less likely to agree to go to war if they knew that American women would be dying and being traumatized at anywhere near the rate of the men.

They brought it up because it seemed an interesting thought. The point is that men will need to spend more on food due to their biology, dumpster-diving and charity are irrelevant here. But yeah, the "working more" point makes sense, that's the idea. And 500 calories per-day will surely make a difference, depending on the quality of the food.

Text Messages Revealed A 21-Year-Old Woman's “Abuse” That Allegedly Caused Her Boyfriend’s Suicide Prosecutors read out dozens of text messages to show that Inyoung You was "abusive" to her 22-year-old boyfriend and allegedly caused him to kill himself. Yeah, why would they need to put the word abuse in quotation marks? It's like they're implying it's not "real abuse". Then again, maybe they're using that to quote what was being said by prosecutors, either way it comes off wrong.

Good point, I totally agree. Just trying to understand the rationale of why a woman would specifically think to attack a man while he's asleep. It's disgusting that anybody would think that attacking somebody in their sleep is funny, especially if it has to do with them being the opposite gender. My first thought was about the fact that men don't generally make memes about beating up helpless women in their sleep, because it isn't funny. I assume it would have to do with the fact that if you attack a man while he is awake and isn't vulnerable that he would obviously defend himself, so violence is what would jump into an angry woman's mi…

In my experience from back at the end of High School at least it seems that young women can be horrible when it comes to ganging up on people for social justice issues and feeling superior, while being validated by their peers. So you're saying it's better to lack sensitivity? I think the majority of arguments from circumcised men seem to come from defensively refusing to accept that there's anything wrong and that they've been permanently disfigured against their will.

Practicing proper hygiene, using condoms, and safe sex are all much more effective at avoiding disease, and don't involve mutilation. As the comment you're replying to stated.

I think some men who are circumcised are less likely to accept that they've been deprived of something, or that injustice has been committed against them. It's easier to justify it using the same weak arguments that everyone uses, and then to even inflict the same thing on others who can't make the choice themselves. Very sad.

Are we gonna start saying that circumcision in a religion is bad? Well personally I'd say that. Removing someone's body part when they're too young to even comprehend it is certainly immoral in my eyes. What if they grow up and decide that they don't want to be Jewish? Which is something many people certainly experience.
