This is so relatable for me. From the childhood activities to the brother with depression. I still have mine but damn it really hits hard and I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sure he was just as don't of the earlier and simplier days as you were.

I actually see it a little differently than some here. I find that it's more about finding allies within the enemy. By bigging each other up and complimenting each other or even having a cheeky backstab about a co-worker with another female colleague, they are hoping to form alliances to protect themselves from the same happening to them from said allegiances. Hope that makes sense.

Whatever it is you want in life, good friends, stable relationship or a great work camaraderie - don't expect others to give you those things. You set the limits, the boundaries and the conditions for all your relationships in life. Appreciate peoples humour, generosity, time and support and they will continue to exhibit these traits, same goes for disrespect, mockery and consideration. In essence, what I'm saying is that any relationship that has gone to the murky waters yours has, has already …

It's like old ladies cutting the line. I always say 'just because you have less in the tank does not mean it's more valuable'

As another NI resident, can confirm. Women here are awful, especially in the belfast area.

When they say they want you to be open with your feelings they are hoping Chad is the one opening up. Just like when she dolls herself up for Chad, Billy beta better not get any ideas, the creep!. On the reverse you have a 'sensitive' man who is supposed to listen to her problems not spill his own. I've learnt when a woman says something she always has a target audience in mind. They don't speak in generalizations which is why women are so 'complicated'.

This is exactly what I picked up on also. With the final court order she would be receiving $2000 rent, $2235 child support, $2500 welfare and $1537 spousal support for a total of $8,272 AND she gets the house. Let's also mention that even though she had to float $122k from her mothers house, she would get half of that back with the retroactive payments... How can you be so greedy to demand over $8k a month and a house without lifting a finger yourself.

I like in the UK and this is absolutely the truth here. My parents who married in their late teens bought their first house for £17,500. A 3 bedroom semi-detached with front and back garden in an OK'ish area. That same house went on sale two years ago at £148,000. Now compare that to the wages then and today, my dad was a factory worker earning £120 a week in the late 80's while a similar job today nets around £240 a week.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
