You can do what I did and “make” a dress out of two parts like a long satin skirt and a silk and lace camisole and wear a sheer long-sleeve button-down top. This is what I did, and I chose mauve fabric and a darker violet for the shirt. I really like the color mauve and chose that as my theme color instead of white cuz I look amazing in mauve and dusty pinks. Your dress doesn’t have to be totally traditional or in white/ivory to look good on you. 🙂 Also, doing your dress like this will cost sign…

Meal ideas: Roasted/steamed veggies, baked sweet potatoes/roasted butternut squash (f/everyone except child w/sensory issues; serve that child harder/crunchier veggies); piadinas/tortilla quesadillas w/black beans and cheese and salsa and guacamole f/rest of family; beans and rice, add to beans some sautéed yellow onions; lentils and rice; salad w/chèvre or mozzarelline balls, baby cherry tomatoes, EVOO+balsamic vinegar+balsamic glaze (crème de balsamique) and sliced avocado f/rest of family. There’s a difference b/t being a BITCH and being ASSERTIVE when needed as well as when necessary, to avoid being a doormat. Men don’t like bitchy women. Bitches are unpleasant. A woman can be firm and assertive, w/o being a bitch. In general, I would never recommend being bitchy.

Isn’t that the point though, to help a girl out? 😉 (And avoid future heartbreak).

Also, he’s lazy and low-effort WITH YOU. Perhaps w/some other girl he was really into he’d drive to someplace more than 15mins away... (The same thing happened to me once 8yrs ago when I was living in Washington, DC, when I was meeting an online date. After meeting at Dupont Cir., I discovered that he organized our coffee date to be less than 2 blocks from where he lived, how convenient f/him, right?...and I lived 16 blocks away. After we met at Dupont Cir. we walked to his apartment, cuz he cla…

Plz do not meet him again. Plz cancel. Drop him immediately. If he asks you why you don’t want to meet up or talk anymore, tell him you realized you’re not compatible and aren’t a match. (However, if he doesn’t ask why you’ve vanished and have stopped talking to him, you don’t need to offer an explanation unprompted).

Ewww, this guy just wants to get laid. 🤮🤮🤮 What an inconsiderate jerk too! What nerve he has to propose a place that’s so far a drive from you but a short 15min drive f/him! Don’t you see the problem w/this??? He doesn’t respect you and only sees you as a means to an end (to get his dick wet, he hopes). He doesn’t CARE that you would have to drive a long way to meet him...this is not a person who you need to have in your life f/one moment longer. He isn’t a nice or good person. He will use you i…

Stop those fantasy thoughts about the other men then. You’re the only one who can stop them! Maybe when you see a prettyboy eye candy and your fantasy mind wakes up, tell her thank you and then mentally put the fantasy thought into a pop-up trash bin after you’re done enjoying the it. Or, stop the fantasy before it goes too far. Or stop the fantasizing altogether.

W/the right person, your RL won’t feel like work. It should feel easy and happy f/most of the time, w/few conflicts. And it won’t feel like you or him are always making the majority of compromises. There will be a balanced amount of give and take, not necessarily EQUAL amounts of give and take, but neither person will feel like they’re compromising too much of him/herself f/the other. If one person does more of thing X f/the other, it won’t feel like such a great sacrifice, so to speak, cuz you’…

When you find a healthy, happy, drama-free, easy RL w/the right person, things are just easy and uncomplicated, you have very few arguments, and if you do argue, you resolve the matter quickly/create a plan of attack together to overcome the problem(s) cuz you want to solve the thing together as a team. An easy RL where your default is team US/team you and me.

We met in INTJ main on Facebook! 😍😍 We were living on different continents at that time... Later, after we got engaged I moved from the US to Europe where he lived. Then we got married about 5mos after I moved to his country.

And it’s possible to unlearn it too, cuz most drama-filled RLs aren’t healthy ones, nor ones that last...

How do you feel about the thought that he’d be w/someone else BESIDES you and would no longer be yours? Does it make you feel crushed/devastated inside?
/r/RedPillWives03/09/19 06:12 PM

Hey OP, how does your husband feel about all of this, what you’ve shared w/us here? Does he feel threatened, like your marriage is going to dissolve?
/r/RedPillWives03/09/19 06:04 PM

I think she’s seeking drama cuz she’s seeking a high, and she equates that to attraction.

I didn’t have healthy RLs until I met the man who’d become my husband. And our RL has been easy and basically free of problems since the beginning, even before we got married. Things are still easy f/us. We feel extremely lucky and very blessed. I don’t know if most ppl know what a healthy RL is like. I’m under the impression that they’re not that common, cuz dysfunctional RLs plagued w/problems seem to be so commonplace, that those kinds of drama-filled RLs are the norm.

Did she say she never desired him? ☹️ If so, how horrible! 😢

Chasing drama will only bring heartache. If your RL is pretty much perfect, then hold on to it f/dear G-d, cherish your husband, remind him every day of how amazing and special he is, and tell him you love him, daily. Water your own RL garden w/love and attention. He deserves it. And so do you.

Yes, channel that restlessness to someplace else. The OP needn’t drop her husband in order to fix this matter. It’s an internal one. Her RL w/her husband should be like her oasis of peace and overflowing love.
/r/RedPillWives03/09/19 05:49 PM

No, no, he does it too, he should share w/her when he sees someone striking as well.

OP, I think you’re bored w/your husband, and y’all need to go do some fun stuff together to make more happy memories and happy moments to share, to help remind you of WHY you married each other in the first place. Fun stuff can be simple things like planning to go to the park f/the afternoon one weekend and eating lunch on the grass, get ice cream on the way home, pick up some takeaway f/dinner, then plan to spend the night in together, playing w/each other in bed! 😄
/r/RedPillWives03/09/19 05:42 PM

I disagree. I think the OP should focus on learning and UNDERSTANDING that a healthy RL/marriage is going to be rather calm/tranquil/drama-free...in other words, to the outside world, it may seem kinda boring...cuz there aren’t problems plaguing you as a couple (which is a super blessing!). The OP’s past understanding of RLs was prolly based on unhealthy ones, so she’s used to chasing after a high (drama).

Being married doesn’t mean you suddenly go blind to attractive men you might see while out and about from time to time...You’ll still see attractive people now and then cuz that’s life and sometimes you’ll see someone who looks yummy, but you don’t ACT on it, you don’t pursue them, you don’t do anything to get their attention/make eye contact w/them, you just enjoy the momentary eye candy and go about your day, FORGETTING them, cuz you AREN’T available to others, you already belong to your husba…

I agree that the restlessness is inside of you, OP. You can’t get it from another man. You’re craving some kind of excitement, I believe. But guess what? A healthy, loving and SOLID marriage to a wonderful man can and prolly WILL seem boring in some sense b/c of the LACK OF DRAMA/PROBLEMS. A healthy RL/marriage should be easy and have few to little problems, if any. So if you’re used to having/been in dysfunctional RLs in the past, you’ve prolly normalized the bad behavior of guys you were incom…

Do you know his Myers-Briggs personality type (MBTI)? What you described sounds like ISTJ/ESTJ...

Is it possible that he’s the slightly killjoy one in your RL and you’re the more fun/lighthearted partner? If yes, it’s not a flaw, it’s a difference in personalities. Try to reframe his killjoy comment when you wanna give him a BJ in the car as him looking out f/the both of you, wanting to keep you both safe, and out of harm’s way/trouble w/the law. Yes, it can be super annoying that he can be like a correcting nanny/teacher, but you two do other fun things together in other contexts too, right…

You’ve gotta unlearn that thought...that it’s a turn-on to lose him at any moment. 😢 In your mind and heart, what is it that makes your husband special, unique and impossible to replace? You might be an anxious attacher? Are you already familiar w/attachment styles? If not, check out the book called Attached by Amir Levine. (Personally, IME, I think a person’s attachment style is just as important as their personality when considering romantic RL compatibility. I learned about the importance of …

I think you’re hooked into the idea that your ideal soulmate should give you supertingles or this buzzy-head chemistry/butterflies-high. When you have several experiences where you felt like you were chasing after the guy/seeking his approval/trying to get the guy’s attention, you’ll incorrectly associate PINING f/someone w/real chemistry. You have a good man. You feel like you lucked out. Pinch yourself and thank your lucky stars you married a good one! Focus on the GOOD that you share w/him, h…

Don’t bother texting him. It would be like leaning forward. It’s the guy’s job to chase the girl, not your job to pursue him. You can RESPOND to texts he sends you, but don’t initiate anything. I don’t think he’ll contact you unless it’s in a last-ditch effort to get you to give in and have sex.

His interest has faded cuz he couldn’t get his dick wet. It’s not a real loss to you since you want sthg serious and he’s happy to get some casual sex (you don’t want the same things). If he was serious about you, he wouldn’t have dropped the ball and let up on texting you—he’d still be contacting you regularly, not fading away... Sorry, honey, consider him a lesson in what you don’t want—a guy who starts to fade away when sex isn’t on the menu of dating wonderful you...let him go and let him go…

He’s less interested now that he know he can’t get his dick wet w/you anytime soon... But this is a good thing—f/YOU! Why bother talking to a guy who seems into you and then is suddenly way LESS interested in you when you put on the brakes on the possibility of y’all getting physical... He was hoping he could get laid. You put a stop to that. He’s prolly trying to talk to other girls trying to find someone who’d be DTF sooner. Consider losing him as your gain. His actions indicate to me that he …

No guy who’s serious about you would DARE to say anything sexual to risk turning you off, so early on. In fact, consider it as a red flag that he mentioned wanting to have sex w/you immediately. This guy is thinking w/his dick and telling you so.
