Key caveat: you better have more than ten friends atleast. Damn ... do imaginary friends count? But seriously, not everybody is living in a high-crime area/country.

Congrats on living in a gated community or going to a school where noone gave a fuck about you. The vast majority of men have been jumped in the world. I bet if I ask my friends if they have been jumped on, assaulted, or threatened with murder, 80%+ will say no. I have never lived in a gated community. Gated communities don't even really exist where I live. Again: Don't extrapolate from the place you live in to the rest of the world. The point is you were atleast in a violent situation I was at …

In fact, I bet there’s not a SINGLE man in this sub who HASN’T been jumped in his life. In fact, there’s probably not a single man on EARTH who hasn’t atleast one point in his life been aggravatingly assaulted by another man to the point of having his life been potentially taken away. What the fuck are you talking about? The last time I was in a situation that could even remotely be described as violent was when I was 16, way more than a decade ago. I haven't been jumped on, assaulted, or threat…

Erdogan's "regime" is well known for being the most progressive, less repressive and "light" government in middle East. Erdogan is the president of Turkey. What does he have to do with Iran? If THERE IS a tolerant, non-mysoginisric form of Islam, if a country with such culture can even exists in the first place... that's Iran. There are some countries with a muslim majority that are definitely more tolerant than Iran, e.g. Turkey, Lebanon, Tunisia. Iran publicly executes gay people by hanging th…

Sex is like food. We all want food, but those of us who eat our fill day after day, don't spend a lot of time daydreaming about food. I mostly agree with the post, but this is a terrible analogy. Outside of a few diets, I have never been starving and I daydream about food a lot. Which recipe should I try next? Which tasty food will I eat tomorrow? I would love to have some Spaghetti Carbonara right now...

It is considered pretty standard for people to give others gifts or tokens of love when courting or in relationships. That's true, but desperate guys are not courting the women to who's OF they are subscribed. (And if they think they do, they are delusional.)

Just because someone is obese doesn’t mean that they are unable to perform sexually in the slightest. One of the most important causes for erectile dysfunction is high blood pressure. Obesity is strongly related to high blood pressure.

I would guess that this problem is probably mostly related to obesity, and not by the oversexualization of media.

I'm betting 100 bucks that this is a troll (just like most of the other posts made by this person).

Why would a woman put fourth effort into courting a man via dating apps when SHE is the one who is getting bombarded with choices? We are not talking about "courting", we are simply talking about sending the first message. Isn't the the whole premise of Bumble that the woman has to send the first message? If she doesn't want to do that, why the hell is she on Bumble? Men dance, women choose the winner The things wrong with OLD in a nutshell.

I think the claim that having sex with multiple women will increase your social status might apply to some fraction of society, but it is certainly not universal. In my environment of adult, educated, mostly middle-class people, having many female partners (either simultaneously or in rapid succession) will most likely not give you a high social status, but rather a frown or even contempt. Men can get high quality pleasure and company using commitment, but no status. You are overlooking the fact…

Undergoing puberty doesn't make one an adult, not by a longshot. Nobody claims that e.g. a 15 year old is an adult. There is no dichotomy between "child" and "adult"; there are many words for people that are neither (adolescent, teenager, ...). I would argue that the concept of seeing every minor as a child is strongly rooted in the idea that minors are essentially their parents' property and have no right of self-determination. This idea seems to be still very prevalent in the US, while it has …

The words minor and child are synonymous, so if someone is a minor they are also underage ergo a child. That's not true. "Child" often does not refer to a child in the legal sense, but to a person that has not undergone puberty. Even in the strictly legal sense, many systems differentiate the two terms. For example, where I live, the law defines a minor as someone below 18 and a child as someone below 14.

Men want arm candy, a boost in social status, comfort, nurture, stability, career success, and excitement from their female partner ALL THE TIME, yet they can only mirror 2-3 of those attributes less than 2% within the relationship’s lifetime. You can find out a man's social status, looks ("arm candy"), and career success long before starting to seriously date them. You can find out whether they provide the remaining things in your list before starting a serious relationship. Why do you constant…

It comes down to a difference in desire for outcomes. I’ve often found many people create their desires for outcomes after they’ve been with someone. My desires already exist before anyone has come along. I want a particular house in a particular area and I want to work certain jobs and so forth. The way I want to raise my children and the relationship I want with my partner… these things all existed before I was with someone. I think both extremes are bad. Marrying the first suitable candidate …

Okay and I'm CLEARLY only talking about the ones that completely end SIMPLY due to sexual incompatibility. Reality is not that easy. As I have explained, even if sexuality incompatibility is the sole root cause that makes the relationship fail, a relationship doesn't simply go from healthy to non-existent within a day or two. It is a process during which feelings get hurt and resentment grows. I don't see what you people aren't getting. If "we people" don't get it, you did a bad job at explainin…

Even if a couple eventually decides to end things because both partners agree that they are sexually incompatible, this rarely takes place without bad blood. Typically, feelings have been hurt on both sides (e.g. the one who is (still) sexually attracted to their partner has been rejected numerous times and feels demeaned; the other who is not attracted to their partner (anymore) had to reject numerous advances and is bothered by that.) This will only happen to relationships that were based and …

Sexual incompatibility should not lead you to completely leave someone's life if you actually value them as a person and for more than sex. Sexual incompatibility will not lead to going no-contact. But sexual incompatibility may lead to a breakup, which then leads to going no-contact. When there is a breakup, usually at least one of the former partners feels mistreated, even if the breakup resulted from mutually agreeing that there is a sexual incompatibility that makes continuing the relationsh…

Another thread where someone does napkin math with numbers that only god knows where they came from and then draws wild conclusions. Suggestion: Before you try to use math to prove a point, actually take a stats class plus look up numbers from the literature instead of simply pulling them out of your own ... The one from a few days ago where someone calculated that only 0.0001% percent of all men are desirable was funnier though.
