I can keep paring this down more specifically if you want, but look at things like puff pieces or E! where they speak with people they've worked with. That's the easiest place to see it described. They talk about the man he is off the set and between scenes and whatnot. That's the glimpse of the man we need to see. For me, the important data marks would include (1) how many children does the couple have/intend to have, (2) does their gender selection correspond with already having a gender child, and (3) are there any health or genetic issues that influenced their decision as well.
