The LOYL hates yogurt.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/25 07:43 PM

Why are you pointing at that cat’s head??
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 07:42 PM

I dunno, not chronically single, but definitely am picky as a man. Makes sense women are pick as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 07:01 PM

You just want pics of random guys to find the LOLYL

I am great at movie recs, so any time <3
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/25 05:44 PM

Requiem for a Dream (just brutal. drug addiction) Lars and the Real Girl (hard, but heartfelt. Romance mixed with immense sadness) Call Me By Your Name (queer love drama that tears at heart strings) The Pianist (Nazis. Music. Pain) They Look Like People (Psychological horror based on mental illness) Man From Earth (a great "what if" movie that's mostly dialogue) Igby Goes Down (closest movie we'll get to "Catcher in the Rye" about growing up) (last two would be highest on the list)
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/25 05:38 PM

Absolutely, yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/25 05:21 PM

If politics takes away a woman’s right to bodily autonomy, or wants to erase trans people, or doesn’t enable universal healthcare, yes, that directly lines with my values. It’s such a weird hill to die on to make fun of someone for caring about things. Or liking things. But go off, king.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/25 09:19 PM

Herp derp I have no values and that’s cool 😎
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/25 08:52 PM

I'm getting that shit out of the way second conversation. First should be making sure you can have a convo, flirt, have more than one-word responses. Second I'm getting the biggest stuff out of the way. Not wasting a third conversation if they're totally opposite politically than me. Not worth my time. And vice versa. If they're apathetic about politics as well, that's a no from me, dawg. It's important to me, and a values set. So you gotta at least be close, but you don't have to be identical.

There's a male birth control pill being devised right now that makes your swimmers no swim, without affecting testosterone, and is shown (in mice, currently) to go back to swimmers swimming withing six months of not taking the pill. It could be the most revolutionary birth control method ever. I hope it can come to fruition, honestly.

I don't like a lot of quotes, because they seem contrived, or off-point, irrelevant, etc. But, I'll waste your time by telling you one quote I really like: "If there's any doubt, there's no doubt." As in, if you're questioning if you should do something, you probably shouldn't do the thing. If you really like this person, talk to them. And tell them you don't know what's going on, but you like them, and you want them, but your head is fucked and you're trying to get it right, and please bare wit…

/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/25 03:46 PM

This feels like a quote that could be applied to any group of humans at any time in history.

Some women act differently than others and cannot all be lumped together into one equation that can be solved by podcasts and TikTok clips. News at 11.

/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/25 02:20 PM

I find this amusing if someone has never raised kids before. That shit isn't easy with one. I cannot imagine two, or more. Get off work and play video games? Nope. It's time to drive them to soccer or karate lessons. Then math homework. Then cleaning the kitchen and a bathroom so the whole house doesn't fall apart by Thursday. Then maybe an hour of tv before bed.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/25 01:47 PM

Lol barely over 40. But still old as fuck compared to you youngins.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/25 01:15 PM

Ok, that's fair. I don't believe in unconditional love, though.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/25 01:08 PM

Let's not blame abused people for their abusers. Men get physically and emotionally abused, too, and it's wholly unfair to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/25 01:04 PM

Shit, my sister tested the bounds of "unconditional" with my parents, and fucked around and found out. Even parents have their limits. Men don't love unconditionally. Women don't. I've seen first hand that parents don't. All love is conditional.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/25 12:55 PM

Not doubting. You know why women sex offenders are almost always teachers? It’s because they’re in positions of power. Women are human. And we all suck. Men get called out on it more because of positions of power. If we had equal women CEOs and such, we’d see equal sexual assault. It’s not a male thing to take advantage of a young child. It’s a human thing. That said: it’s not a reason to keep women out of power. We have to accept that everyone, regardless of gender, has a percentage who will ra…

I read on the Canada subreddit that they hate you, personally. You had the audacity to exist, and I agreed (kidding, love you)
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/25 04:55 PM

I would imagine it's romantic. There's this show "Great News" that Tina Fey produced, and in it the lead kept trying to live up to this Instagram life, and the woman broke down at the end and said (paraphrasing) "Do you have any idea how much I fake this??" It hit hard. And also, a great binge watch.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/25 04:49 PM

Oh, this one is easy, but it's not easy. You have to be honest. "I love you, but I recharge my emotional batteries alone. And I love hanging out, but right now I'm running low. I enjoy you, I enjoy our friendship. But I recharge by being along, and right now, I need to recharge so I can be the best friend soon." By phrasing it like that you are putting yourself first, while also acknowledging your friend. And what they mean to you. And that you care. But that you need time.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/25 04:27 PM

I once drank a long island iced tea that was meant for a girl friend of mine, and then woke up in an alleyway. I don't for a second think "all men" because I am a man. And I'm not a white knight, and fuck that shit. But after that instance...yeah. I doubted a lot of intentions.

Not religious, but damn I miss church sometimes. Meeting new people. Feeling welcomed in a group. I went to church for the first time in 10 years with my parents, and the pastor of this 600 congregation called me out and said, "welcome home [redditor] it's so good to see you." And all these people came up that I hadn't seen in years and asked about my life, told me about theirs, and fuck...I wish I could believe like I did as a child. Because that community feeling felt so good.

There was this blowup I saw recently about sending condoms to Gaza. Nevermind that the Gaza wasn't the one at war with Israel, but the 'other' Gaza in Africa. People who are poor can't afford birth control, and they fuck. And they fuck and have kids because of it. This isn't new information at all. Birthrates will decline in any country that offers birth control. Fact. Birthrates will decline in any country that doesn't prioritize religion. Fair. And I’m not saying anything negative about virgins. Or trying to invalidate them at any age.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/25 01:19 PM

I would find that rich, considering it's an objective fact most women who post here are not single, and thus aren't vested in how single women for gen z are acting. I don't think women are bitches or evil, or anything like that. But if you're not single, and have never had an issue being single, it's probably hard for you to see the issues with people who are. Especially if you're a millennial and barely had OLD in your life. Saying as a millennial.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/25 01:13 PM

I've become a big fan of 'dating over 30' and such subs, since I'm one of them, and I think there's a lot less of that there. There's still some, but definitely less. A lot of issues here seem to be gen z, which is totally valid. That's literally a whole generation of men struggling. And not to be dismissed. But in my experience things have changed a lot with getting a bit older. I don't give a fuck about so much I cared about in my 20s.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/25 01:10 PM

I don't care about cars at all. I drive a Chevy volt, and am in love with the car. Gets me to work and home on electric, but can still drive to see my parents hours away with the gas engine. Perfect car. I've dated people who really care about cars and the image it gives you, though. And that was honestly a shock to me. Like, I will ride the train downtown to get to a game or a music show, and don't give a fuck. And people who wanted valet and a nice car for them to park...yeah, fuck that. I jus…

I think that's natural. Most women who post here have partners/boyfriends/husbands and most men who post here don't. The women who post here, for the most part, are arguing from a place of "I found a guy who isn't like what you say," and I think a lot of them post from their experience. It doesn't make them bad, but it immediately makes their experience (and the experience of their partner) invalid to a lot of men here, and that in and of itself can be off-putting or upsetting. "Men can't suffer…

I have this happen occasionally, and have since I first started having sex at 19. For me it is purely because of the little voice in my head. It will wonder if I'm doing things right? Is she/he enjoying this or faking? Am I taking too long to cum? What did they mean earlier when they said I was 'dependable'? Does that mean I'm boring? Am I a boring love maker, too? ...and soft. It rarely happens now, because I have a healthy relationship with a person who communicates with me openly and regularl…

I mean, none of my single female friends would be surprised by that. They are overwhelmed on not just Tinder but Insta and Snap and any social media they are on with DM requests and date requests, and they know it's not the same for men. And most of them hate that they have so many men contacting them.

That's kinda like saying, "you're pro-choice, but you didn't get an abortion." It's about the choice feminism offers people, not forcing them into a one-size-fits-all narrative.

Lots of women just want sex and aren't interested in relationships. Especially younger women. And the more confident/neurotypical/confident of them will approach men they're attracted to. My current partner approached me a few years ago, and let me know early that she just thought I would be a fun lay. Totally didn't expect that we'd click like we did. But she absolutely approached me at a friend's party with the only intention of sex. And I'm not "Chad" by a longshot.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 05:13 PM
4

I imagine this is going both ways, too. When men approach women they don't know (i.e. complete strangers) women have to know it's purely based on physical appearance, and the suspicion of what the intentions are have to, realistically, lean towards, "he just wants to fuck." Which isn't a bad thing, in and of itself. Sometimes in my 20s that absolutely was why I would go up to some women and men. I just wanted sex, and they were hot. But if you're someone who is wanting and looking for a relation…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 05:04 PM

I don't know why it's difficult for some men and easy for others. I know some of it is physical attraction, but I'm not some model, and I don't go to the gym, but I've literally never struggled with sex. I personally owe it to a large social circle.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 03:32 AM

I think that's a too-common way of thinking among a lot of people, regardless of gender. Especially if you bring religion into it, but even without religion people naturally want a reason for things to be and exist. The fact that humans exist is the same reason that mosquitos exist. Because they successfully passed on genetic material. The only "reason" anyone exists is because genetic material was passed on. That's it. There is no morality to it.

I would argue against this. Hard. I don't have sex with people I don't fully trust, and that's such an incredibly low burden for men to adhere to. I also don't support tax dollars paying for all these additional millions of tests. I also don't support any kind of database with DNA being kept to compare samples to to find out who the father is. I also don't support women losing bodily autonomy and risking induced labor by having a prenatal paternity test done. But, most importantly, the fact is t…

Someone has to pay. If the mother can't pay, the government (your tax dollars) have to make up the difference of the deadbeat dad. If the mother refuses to pay, she'll go to jail for child neglect and the children will be supported by the government (your tax dollars) through foster care programs. Someone has to pay. It's either the deadbeat dad, or me and you as taxpayers. I'd vote for the deadbeat dad.

Pay and get a paternity test. They're cheap and available at a local pharmacy. Most of the men who have been complaining about this issue (non-stop for the past 48 hours or so) aren't even having sex, and are the same ones complaining they can't find girlfriends and wives, so I don't know why they care about this issue so much. Did AI write this...? That said: No, child support should not be completely optional. Women (should) have complete control over their bodies, and if they want to have a child rather than an abortion, that is their choice, and only their choice. The father of the child has no say in if the mother aborts or keeps the child. They have no say on if they pay child support. This is just a case of men having to take the "L" because of biology. Yes it would. Because it is true and this sub still exists. Women love sex just as much as men. They just don't give it to all men. This sub exists because a lot of those 'leftover' men rage out that they aren't getting any, and we get to observe the mental gymnastics they go through to prove women hate sex. When the rest of us straight and bi men are just out there having it with women who love it.

I think men should absolutely have and keep their standards. I just also think men should be ok being alone when no women meet them, or the women who meet them aren't interested. Just learn to be as ok being alone and single as women are, and you'll be much happier in life.

What does birthrates have to do with sex? Lots more couples are choosing to be childless, but they're still fucking.

I mean, who cares if women in the US have increased their standards beyond what is realistic? If they're happy being single then men have to adjust to being single. There isn't anything else to do except complain online about it, and that's just annoying for everyone involved. Like, do some men think that there's a magical number of complaint threads on reddit and X and Facebook that will occur when the branch snaps and women start dating unappealing men? That's pure cope and fantasy. Men need t…

Are you really so delusional that you think "if men complain enough women will cave and start dating below their standards"? That's literally not going to happen. Women are fine being alone. I suggest below average men learn to do the same, and stop whining on the internet about it. Because their whining is literally not going to ever change anything.

I'd rather women stay single than settle, regardless of their standards. Men, too. I know I would never date anyone that didn't meet my standards, and if my current relationship ended (and I hope it doesn't, but still) I would remain single forever rather than settle for a moment.

I'm 40 now, but I asked out plenty of men and women in my younger days, but I don't know that I ever asked in person at the initial meet. Like, I would meet someone at a bar or party and ask for a number, because all I knew was that they were hot. I didn't know if they were interesting/funny/politically compatible/etc, so I didn't know if I wanted to go on a date with them. I only knew they were hot and could hold a ten minute conversation. So, I don't think I've ever asked anyone out in person,…

If you're unlikable and people don't enjoy being around you, then yeah you're gonna struggle finding a romantic partner, too.

I don't see anything wrong with this. Unfair? Probably. But it's not wrong for women to be fine with attractive men hitting on them and being creeped out by ugly men hitting on them.

Comparing two consenting adults making love to scat play is...definitely something. Jesus Christ.

It's gross, and I'm allowed to think and call it gross. Legal or not. And, yeah, I wouldn't speak to my daughter if she was 19 and brought some 42 year old man home. She can do what she wants. I don't have to like it, or approve of it, or allow her bad decisions into my life.

I love how this delusional take of Chads having harems continues to get spread here. Lol never in my life have I seen or heard of any real situations like this, and I do relationship therapy. It's a red pill/terminally online take..
